  1. Lost track of how many times I've had to explain to people that, as I always say "baiting is when a T is actively knifing and a CT walks into them. But the T has to be already knifing. You can't start knifing after the CT walks into you." And i find a lack of emphasis on the camping rule by most people. A CT can camp if he's helping, say for example on electric where there's a teleporter and vent that lead to armory. A CT can camp the teleport and vent as its helping. Now say on Lego, the order is pool and a CT camps piano room. That's in no way helping his team. That's not allowed.
  2. Not a bad idea. Have people who join start off at a shade of grey, then when they reach regular have it pop more with the white. Also maybe as another incentive, maybe make it where you have to be reg or higher to use an avatar (or at least make the size smaller for members). I see what potatoes is getting at. I remember when I started playing circa Christmas 2011 that it seemed really special to be a member and waiting for Irish to approve your membership application. Then how special it felt getting up to reg (even tho I was supporter already and ppl called me stupid for wondering why reg didn't appear when I reached it.).
  3. I don't see any logic means of implementing this. No one is going to want to sit through a test to play the game. We already have basically all you can do to show them the rules, but people don't like to read. And with our server being based a lot different than most, it's only logical that you'll run into problems with people assuming the rules are the same. Edit: Because the title of the thread is "suggestion for PB" and people took that as a cue to make this the PB suggestion thread
  4. Eh, it's not really the age more or less it's the mental maturity. Look at Buddy for example. He's prob like 14? But he's still generally pretty chill and fun to play with. Then you have someone like say Brumu or prizma, who while trying to have fun, come across more or less annoying and immature to the rest of the players. Honestly I have a bigger problem with the people that start disrespecting them constantly telling then "shut the fuck up kid". I find the people that think just because their balls have already dropped that makes them better than someone else. Thankfully there's not too many assholes like that on our server but I'll still see one or two.
  5. I wouldn't mind hearing that sound again. On one hand it is qutie funny when a T just explodes on a CT, but I think it is even funnier when you hear the screaming and know you are fucked.
  6. At least yall are good at spelling....
  7. Primarily calling him out as Seattle is bumfuck away from them and isn't a natural choice given his location and Seattle has been the go-to bandwagon team for the past few years. Fite me
  8. >all those teams suck Then fighting words. Not to mention Dallas beat the Seahawks in Seattle. They didn't just beat them either, Dallas outplayed them the whole game.
  9. Problem being sour patch kid would feel really bad about themselves afterwards and probably off themselves.
  10. Understandable but you have a slew of teams that are a lot close than fucking Seattle. To name a few: Cowboys; Texans; Saints; Chiefs; Rams (lol); Titans (lol)
  11. Windows 10?

Yeah I'm about to do this. When I paid my friend $200 for this computer (I had to buy a hard drive myself) he went ahead and installed an extra copy of windows 7 32 bit he had laying around. So it wasn't a "genuine" or registered copy or w/e so I just went ahead and bought the upgrade to 8.1 so I could get the windows 10 update (I see now that for the same price I paid I could have just upgraded straight to 10 but whatever). So I'm still stuck on 32 windows and will be when I upgrade to 10 but I'm gonna do a clean install after to get up to 64 bit. Currently in the process of saving as much stuff on my computer as I can so when I do the clean install I still have my files. I am now running 64 bit windows 10 and so far I'm liking it. I'm really just glad to finally be on 64 bit.
  12. You mean bind "voice_enable 0"?
  13. Feel like 90% of cts give an order just because they always hear it given and don't know why that order is given. Like the one step out face the back wall and freeze. I think most CTs giving that order don't realize the point of that is to weapon check. I'd say most rounds go: One step out -> pool/soccer/big cage -> wait till round end and maybe play what's for dinner (which is the most stupid death game ever).
  14. I believe it comes down to when you are dead, or say in spectate, and everyone that's dead won't stfu so you can't hear what's happening in game. Not only is a nuisance, but I can see where it will be a problem when trying to administrate the server. Whether you are demoing or an admin on the server, you'll need to actually hear what's happening in game in case someone says they were free shot or freekilled. Would even apply to racism or disrespect. Say I'm demoing and someone alive starts spewing a few racist remarks but its hard to hear over everyone in dead chat talking. And backtracking to the freekill aspect, you would need to be able to hear if a CT gave a certain order or warning of some sort. Even aside from administrating, some people still enjoy hearing what's happening in game.
  15. Toyz you can't even get your memes right. Its #FreeDapink not #FreeDapink Its #SqueekerSquad not crew And the Try hards aren't allowed their own squad cuz they suck and can go circlejerk themselves off
  16. Good times were had on the TTT server. Hope to see you return full time one day.
  17. I mean it's not music but still love him:
  18. @SpikedRocker could I just bring this suggestion to attention? If it already exists than just say stfu goku, but I think having a public admin application alongside a private admin only thread for that application could maybe be a good compromise. The admin only section would solve any problems with admins not wanting to worry about upsetting the applicant, but the public application would still allow non admins to weigh in their thoughts as, the vast majority of the servers are populated by non-admins. Plus if an admin does have something they do want to say publicly they can. My problem I always had with the old system was that it was a bit harder to gauge exactly what needed to be worked on to improve one's own attitude and overall behavior.
  19. lol Also @Jr_Donkey aren't you from Arkansas? How the hell are you a Seahawks fan?
  20. Think, least what I'm assuming he means, was the system where you would apply for admin then the thread was made private to where only admins or higher could see it. Then about a week later iirc, a higher up would PM you the results of the application and if it was a no or reapply they would generally state a few reasons why such as activity, or maturity or whatever the reasons.
  21. I would not at all want the rounds going on for 10 minutes. It already sucks enough if you die 30 seconds in and have to sit through 4:30 of CTs trying to get Ts to go somewhere and maybe host a death game. I'd be okay with increasing the round limit to 6 minutes. Maybe increase T mute time to 45 seconds, maybe One extra minute should be enough time IMO to finish up the deathgames and do things without creating too much more of a delay. Imagine if rounds were 10 minutes and you got killed 30 seconds in due to crossfire, or freekill, or a map related death (falling off on accident on clouds or a door crushing you) then having to sit through 9 minutes of "All ts go here....I said all Ts go here...All ts if you are not here by # you are KOS....Now, if you want to play a death game go here...I said if you want to play a death game go here...." etc. etc.
  22. Yeah after I submitted it I was kinda mulling over that again. I see his points of people being afraid of being honest. Maybe a bit of a combination? As means of counteracting the "get your friends to vote for you" maybe switch back to only admins and higher can reply. It wouldn't stop someone from getting their admin friends to vote, but it would at least limit it. I still do think allowing the person that submitted it to see replies is better, but again I know that not everyone views the criticism like I do. I prefer transparency on these kinda things, but that's just me. Also not sure if it exists but maybe have a separate section in the admins section for them to discuss admin applications more privately?
  23. Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing apps go back to the old style, but still let the person submitting the application see what is being posted. IIRC under the old system you would apply, then just wait about a week to be told yes or no and in that time even so much as talking about the status of it with admins was punishable. Might just be me, but like just now when I applied, I WANT people to be honest with me and see what they think needs to be changed in my behavior. I think under the previous system you would be told generally why you didn't make it, but you couldn't see what was being said. I enjoy getting constructive criticism. For example, @Wooper said in mine today that he just doesn't see me as admin material as of my application and to reapply. So next time I see him I plan on asking what he thinks I need to work on so I can improve. And I'm glad he was honest with him. I understand tho that not everyone thinks like I do and some people would probably take the constructive criticism too personally and would get upset and because of that some people won't want to be honest.
