Hey everyone, Time for another round of promotions in this spooky month of October Up first, we got one of the best teams in SG getting another addition to the roster. Kopsta and Kieran are the supreme overlords of this phenomenal team and totally didn't threaten me to write this. He's shown some great passion for the CS servers and we know he'll produce some great events. Please join me in welcoming BloodBlades to the Events Team! His new responsibilities will include: Organize, plan, and run events Manage/Promote special events on our servers Manage and monitor gaming tournaments Make sure servers are ready for all special events Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community Work with the Server Managers to create events that cater to community interests Next, we got a new face joining Bom's stupendous team; Bom is very excited because he's still stuck being the manager We know he'll contribute to the team and further the growth of SG. Please join me in welcoming cnb to the Marketing Team! His new responsibilities will include: Manage all third party sites/applications. Manage all advertising, sponsorships, and affiliations. Recommend upgrades and general marketing aspects for the community. Research what the community likes / doesn't like. Upkeep the image of SG and help expand. Work with the Media Team to manage branding and community design. Work with Media team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc). Next, this guy has been a member of our community for a very long time. Work with the Administrative Team and Events Team for the production of event based projects. Next, these next two people are familiars with the community and have a passion for video games. Week 3 is here with a new set of challenges. One lucky winner will receive an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x + a compatible motherboard ($500+ value)! Three runner-ups will receive a custom themed SG mousepad. Just to remind you what's at stake, here are some lovely pictures. *It will be sealed but these are the contents of it* Challenges can be submitted until the end of the challenge event. Some of these challenges will be easy to prove you did and others will be harder, but it's all part of the fun. The form will explain all the requirements for each challenge and does not require all challenges to be complete to submit, should you only want to complete certain challenges. First Real talk though, this is one of the most exciting ventures we've done in SG! Thanks John, Infinityward, and Kopsta for setting up the new servers.
