12/24/2019 Directional orders given with cardinal directions (north, south, etc.) are now unreasonable. Please refrain from giving these orders as they cannot be followed by those who have modified their minimap or have a glitched minimap and causes more confusion than necessary. This was added to our FAQ as well as a server announcement.

Hello, just a kind reminder that it is the holiday season and so things are quiet at the moment. The JB team did talk about this briefly and we'll make a change when possible to label directional (cardinal) orders as unreasonable. Merry Christmas everyone .

So I feel like directional orders like these often are orders designed to cause some kind of chaos or confusion and provide CTs with easy warning shots for people who aren't able to follow the order. Why say "face west" instead of "face back of cells" so you can check to see if any prisoners have any pistols? While I really, really dislike taking away freedom from the CTs and placing more intangible rules, in this case it seems like a lot more of a headache to keep directional orders than to just label them as unreasonable. Thoughts?

Thanks to everyone who was involved with this! There was a ton of logistics involved along with coordinating the streamers and getting people to actually participate. Had a blast playing MC at the end. Hope we have something like this again soon!
