Hi everyone, We're in the process of rolling out a rule overhaul aimed at simplifying our existing ruleset, and will be splitting up the FAQ into a guide for new players and a guide for players who are coming from other servers. For this meeting we want to go over the below rule changes be sure to attend! At the end of the meeting we'll have an open Q&A with our JB managers, CAs, and admins present to answer your concerns. Meeting date: February 22, 2020 at 6PM EST. Meeting place: Teamspeak (ts.steam-gamers.net) Rules to Remove Rule: "• CTs are NEVER required to give freedays, and they can be revoked at any time. All other orders override a freeday." Rule: "• CTs do not have to honor pardons or promises to rebelling Ts." Rule: "• CTs can only force the Ts to play a death-game for 45 seconds at a time." Rule: "• CTs must let the map made death-game do the damaging/killing. CTs cannot use forced death-games to gain points from kills." Rule: "• CTs aren't allowed to enforce or create their own KOS rules! This means CT's cannot bypass warning shots for situations that call for them, despite saying otherwise." Rule: "• CTs are not allowed to order T's to have a warday." Rule: "• CTs cannot declare themselves warden, wardens do not exist on this server." Rule: "• CTs are not allowed to tell Ts to AFK Freeze." Orders that should be combined Combine: "• Conflicting orders are any orders that conflict with a previously given order. Revoking a freeday for another order or adding restrictions is not conflicting." with "• CTs are NEVER required to give freedays, and they can be revoked at any time. All other orders override a freeday." Combine: "• CTs cannot give special orders in text chat, they must be over voice chat." with "• CTs can use special orders, but cannot abuse them. Uh... the video Poke linked doesn't show any issue from what I can see.

The stairs on VIP lead directly to armory. The door is irrelevant in this situation. I can't even imagine the confusion there would be if this was dependent on whether or not the door was open. Thus, the stairs are KOS (the ones right besides vending machine).

02/09/2020 We've added two new features to the server: !dz and !ghost. !dz, courtesy of @BoTo, enables players to choose different melee weapons they want to use. Weapons like hammers, wrenches, and fists should spice things up a bit in melee fights ;). !ghost lets you run around the map and auto-bhop, noclip, and more while dead so you don't have to sit around waiting for the next round to start. Ghosts will no longer be able to block doors. These features will be public for a week starting today to celebrate their release, and then will be moved to Subscriber+. Let us know if you encounter any issues .

This is already a thing. If a CT gives a T 30 seconds to send an LR then there's some leeway for the CT to decline an LR if it's unreasonable, but if it's nearing 30 seconds then the LR should probably be accepted to follow the above rule. It's situational, but all covered by the above to avoid situations like @Takuto mentioned. Next time please make a rule discussion thread in the proper subforum to keep things organized, thanks

We've done that with Jailbreak but it's up to the individual server managers. I threw a message in the AT chat as a reminder :] thanks for bringing it up

FastDL is facing issues which are rendering certain players unable to join the server if the current map hasn't been downloaded by the player. As a workaround, please view the map list for the server you're trying to join here, download the .bsp.bz2 file to C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike: Global Offensive/csgo/maps on your own computer (unzip the .bz2 and take out the .bsp), and restart your game. The technical team is aware of this and hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. EDIT: Should be resolved now.

Hi everyone, On February 7 at around 10AM EST our Technical Team moved our Jailbreak server to a new host with the IP 158.69.132.24. This change was announced in-game through server announcements as well as on Discord. Moving our Jailbreak server to a new host enables us to provide a smoother experience for players and enables us to grow as a community. This change should have automagically been updated in your "Favorites" tab on CS:GO (if not, within the next 24 hours). While the IP has changed, we're facing some issues with our FastDL server which is causing players who don't already have the current map downloaded to have issues playing that map. This issue should be resolved in the morning. Thank you to our community for your understanding and patience in this matter. We just released our Valentine's event with a special surprise on February 14, and stay tuned for future community meetings in the near future. Happy weekend everyone!

We have 30 minutes now because the time is not meant to stop freekillers. It's meant to let newer players learn that freekilling is bad. No amount of time will stop freekillers, so why punish people who are new and just want to play? We have admins to stop these kinds of situation from happening. I understand this is frustrating but the only thing we can do is to have our admins play the server, allow regulars to make player complaints, and encourage people to apply for admin. Thanks for sharing your concerns

Hi! This is a common problem people have. The reason is because a T can kill CTs once they have a gun, and so to keep the CTs safe they can kill any T with a primary regardless of how they got it. We are working on a plugin to prevent auto-pickup. Hope this helps
