If the Ts know where he is and are coming for him, that's fine, but if they don't and he kills one out of sheer luck as you say but doesn't keep moving afterwards to patrol or enforce orders, that's when you warn him, slap him up, maybe beacon him, and if he still doesn't do anything, slay him. As far as how long afterwards, it shouldn't honestly take him that long, use your own judgement, it should always be under a reasonable time frame.

I think the question was answered, rules discussion is for discussion of the rules, not finger pointing. If he's last CT, he doesn't have to warning shot, if it was a warning shot, then rip. If he's not last CT and he didn't warning shot, then its a freekill, considering I'd hardly count it as 'blatantly disobeying'. Its also a dick move. Gonna drop a here if nobody minds, unless some other duders (i.e. @Nuclear Onion @Wawa) wanna step in.

Two questions: Was Brandon killed from a warning shot or something that did over 100 dmg (like a hs, a burst, etc.)? If not a warning shot, was Evol the last CT? If Evol wasn't last CT he should've warning shot, if it was a warning shot, then no problemo. That's my understanding of it at least.

As someone who has used an AWP to warning shot before with absolute no problems, I feel as if you're taking away the freedom of choice, its not my call to change the rule or not but its balancing the freedom (not the necessity) of doing so versus simply not allowing it for anyone at all. This is a game after all and its meant to be fun, not so slashed up with rules you have to break them to use the weapon you want in a shooting game. That's just my opinion it as well, and I get where you're coming from (as someone who has been on the receiving end of many, many bad 'warning' shots), but in the end its a game and you're there to have fun, if stuff happens, it happens, but I just don't feel as if restricting weapons is the way to go.

If you deal more than 99 damage, its a freekill, regardless of the weapon used. If they can aim well enough with an AWP to warning shot, they can do so, otherwise its freekilling. If there's nobody else rebelling within the line of sight with an awp, its not a crossfire... I mean they have a SCOPE for a reason on that gun. If it was an actual crossfire from an AK or an M4, chances are you'd have a 3-5 round burst to the chest and be dead already anyways so this makes no difference. Your point is simply based on the fact that they can't aim; its like the idiots who pretend to he unable to aim or really can't aim and always hit HS instead of warning shots. If they can't do it right, its a freekill and if they keep doing it, record it and report it on the forums.

I mean, common sense dictates here that the only freedays that can currently be given are for the current round, but I dunno if we gotta spell everything out word-for-word in legal clause to play a bloody game just because someone kills for 'technicalities'. Although this is a great idea and I do enjoy Altis a hell lot, I feel as if our player base isn't geared towards a game such as Arma 3, where the player base is somewhat exclusive. Events and such may be possible but I don't think we've got enough interest so far to dedicate a server to it considering we're still running through a few things. I might rent/buy one for a month personally (considering I was thinking of doing so with friends anyways) to see how well it goes if enough interest is expressed but I still prefer Arma 2: OA That's just my 2 cents tho
