  1. NoOOO!!! BOXXY!

I don't find her loud or annoying. I do find it funny that many overreact to her videos and she's become an internet sensation.
  2. Unfortunately there are only few laptops that would even allow you to replace the graphics card. Best thing you can do is to take it apart and dust it off. It's a laptop you're stuck.
  3. I think Nintendo is going to have to step up the next time around. Even with all the Wii buzz most kids would still prefer one of the other consoles. If it wasn't for the extensive collection of Nintendo classics & ports along with the high parental approval rating, the Wii would've been exposed as gimmicky. Sony suffered from the late release and the higher cost, but in my opinion is the most refined. With the exception of mouse and keyboard, I'll take a PS/2/3 control any day over the others. That being said it doesn't necessary mean it's the best of the three, as it lacks any must have exclusives. Multi platform would be ideal for the consumer, but competition is what drives value and innovation.
  4. That's an insanely high stat, but I don't think the girl is crazy or like Havok says "doesn't have a decent life". Text messages can easily accumulate, and if you send a text to multiple people then the number could easily rack up. Not to mention the stat probably includes sent and received so only about half of those are actually hers. Texting someone next to you isn't uncommon if you're in a loud area or a place where you need to be silent.
  5. The industry works at a faster pace than the average user. Software has yet to reach it's limits. Even the most basic web browsing, e-mail and chat programs can be taken further. You're just not thinking from a creative point of view. I don't suggest that anyone swap out their current systems OS for a new one, but if you're building a new PC and are in need of an OS then updating isn't a bad thing. With 64bit extra RAM is just the tip of the iceberg. It is not yet mainstream but more and more developers creating software with the new standard. The average user has yet to catch up, but there are industries in which it's practically a requirement to use a 64bit OS. XP has been around for years, so it dominates the market. Support for it isn't going to die anytime soon because change come from a need and the average user won't/doesn't need to update. Everyone didn't go out and by the latest system just because Crysis wouldn't run at 60+fps on their system. XP SP2 doubled the RAM requirement from SP1. There were complains back then, but most aren't aware or seem to have forgotten that part now that hardware has far outpaced the 9 year old OS that has reached it's limit.
  6. 64bit implementation is the reason to change to Vista or Windows 7. Windows 7 will be the last Microsoft OS to be released in both 32bit and 64bit.
  7. I'm planning on installing it on my Mini 9, and I might toss onto a 2nd PC I plan on building tomorrow. So far the only things I've heard is that setting UAC to level 0 can cause some issues, and the first few seconds of an MP3 get deleted but can be avoided by changing some settings. - Here's a good FAQ Click - Official Windows 7 site Click
  8. It's not pre-beta, it is beta. It's supposed to stay active until August 1.
  9. Before you go through all of that, launch both games individually and their keys will populate.
  10. Play Games, watch a movie or write a paper on one. Surf the web and chat on the other. There's lots of uses for it, but it mainly keeps you from having to minimize or switch windows to get things done.
  11. So he's a douche just like his coach. If the Pats don't play it right or they could end up paying Cassel $14 million to sit on the bench. Money that could be used on the aging defense.
  12. Cassel or Brady? Which one is it gonna be? One of them is gone next year. It'll be funny if they end up a Jet, but any team that gets the other is lucky. Just imagine Brady as Lion. I can see NE trading him for a first round pick considering how well Cassel did and Brady's questionable knee. The Ravens and Dolphins are the dogs of the AFC considering the other teams that made the playoffs. It'll be fun watching one of them work the playoff latter.
  13. I told you'll I wasn't worried about the Patriots. Dolphins are the new AFC East Champs It's on Ravens IMO the two most dangerous teams in the playoffs are the Eagles and Chargers. They are playing a strong finish and the Eagles in particular look like the Giants did last year. ... and excuse us IJ, but the AFC isn't bad. The Redskins record would've only been competitive in the AFC West, and even then the Chargers aren't as bad as their record says. Patriots, congratulations on losing to the Chargers in week 6 giving the Dolphins the better conference record
  14. Ipod Touch

Typing this from the touch while at my sisters house. Connecting to the net should be easy. Just find the proper connection under the settings menu.
  15. Are you sure about that?
  16. 1. United States of America - FUCK YEAH! How's that for format? and... How does it get hottest women in the world and rank 32nd? This thread fails
  17. Why didn't I think of this before? I was thrown off the scent by a different clue, but this could be it. Nice job
  18. Duo Processor?

He's not trying to be insulting. Seriously though, you could do with an update. If you think it has to do with your video card drivers then re-install with the latest drivers from nvidia.com
  19. I don't see how they're forcing it on anyone. You're still using XP aren't you? They even released SP3 and continually update XP. They stopped selling the older product to computer builders at volume cost, so big deal. It's companies like Dell and HP that charge you more. If you don't want to pay extra then build your own PC. Microsoft doesn't charge you extra for buying an XP disc. Maneuverability amongst files and folders is different, but can also be changed to your liking. I've personally changed the way files are transferred to I guess you can call it XP style, and Vista's search is way improved from XP. Your the first person I've heard who doesn't seem to think so. I don't get the views and edit comment. They didn't completely overhaul it, because like I said people hate change. Vista goes beyond just pretty menu bars. If for anything else security is far improved on Vista and I'm not just talking UAC (which most people hate). An attempt at OSX or not Vista is an improved OS. Microsoft actually got x64 to work properly/collaboratively with x86 on Vista something they couldn't do with XP. It's definitely a step forward as a next gen. OS The average user might fail to see an improvement, but to those of us who utilize the features, we understand the difference. I play the same old games you play on Vista.
  20. You're like one of those call in tech support employees that ask you to do the most retarded things instead of getting to the problem. Do you work for one of those companies?
  21. The only thing that keeps them from doing that is that people hate change. Exhibit A: Despite the fact that all the basics from XP are on Vista, people really seem to hate it. I don't get it.
  22. Try the Linux option I gave you. I had a situation once with an old HDD that stopped working. Windows wouldn't install on it either. I tried Ubuntu; it worked and Windows was able to be installed. Chances are it won't work and the HDD does need to be replaced, but it doesn't hurt to try.
  23. If you completely reinstalled Windows and it's still happening there are only things I can think of. How far into Windows can you get before getting the BSoD? You can try booting off of a *nix OS, just to see if that works. Ubuntu
