  1. The AFC East is really simple now. If the Dolphins win they will be the AFC East Champs. If the Jets win they would need a Patriot lost. If the Patriots win they would need a Dolphin lost. Miami holds their own destiny and I'm optimistic about the chances The AFC West is down to Chargers vs. Broncos. Titans and Steelers are in. Colts hold a wild card spot. If the Ravens win or the Patriots lose, they hold the second wild card spot. Patriots need loses from either Dolphins or Ravens and a win against Buffalo Good luck football fans. Raven, I'll see you in the first round
  2. The 9800GT is a good choice at the $100 price range.
  3. AFAIK CS:S isn't designed to be compatible with any game controller; I'm not sure about COD5. Even if they were, mouse and keyboard are far superior when it comes to fps games.
  4. All browsers are vulnerable. Just look at the release notes of Firefox 3.0.5, Chrome 1.0.154.36 and Opera 9.63. They all patched several security issues. IE pushed out a patch in record time from discovery to release, so it's no slouch when it comes to security.

    The only 88 I buy is a mobile 88
  6. Jasper models are currently only available on Arcade versions. If you are buying new, you're probably better off purchasing an Arcade and upgrading it yourself. It might be a little more expensive, but in my opinion the Jasper is worth it.

The Germans aren't so bad, and most of us on here have gotten used to and even begun to enjoy the challenge of playing on the Axis side. The main difference is that Allies get a constant and free barrage of artillery to use.
  8. I like Opera and IE7Pro, but I think most of you will switch back to Firefox after the 3.1 release. All of them are as fast as Chrome and come with must have essentials that aren't included in Chrome yet. If you like the minimalist look of Chrome you can tweak them to look the same.
  9. That's assuming the Patriots don't lose to Arizona or Buffalo. I still got the Ravens beating the Cowboys and Jaguars for the last AFC wild card, but I don't see the Patriots losing either, so the Ravens need to hang on for the tie breaker. The winner of Dolphins@Jets will get a home game with either the Ravens or Patriots in the first round.
  10. Let's see. The AFC looks like this Titans are locked for a first round bye, Steelers need one win to lock Colts are almost guaranteed a wild card slot Week 15 Dolphins@Chiefs Jets@Seahawks I don't see either of the road teams losing, so the AFC East title will go to the winner of Dolphins@Jets Ravens and Patriots are in a battle for the last wild card spot. Ravens holding the tie breaker over the Patriots. So if both teams win out or get one lost each Ravens are in. Dolphins, Jets, and Ravens are in a win or go home situation. Patriots must win out, and they need other teams to lose. The NFC is crazy right now. The only sure teams are the Giants and Cardinals. The Panthers are pretty much in as well, and the Bucs should win the last two for a wild card spot. The last wild card is a race and the NFC North it still a toss up.
  11. Wooo! Exciting last home game. As usual they bring it down to a final defensive stop. The offense just completely shut down in the second half, but like Joey Porter says "We're all we got. We're all we need" and of course he gets the sack to seal the game for the Dolphins. Don't be sorry. I would even take the Lions over Oakland. I can't believe they have three wins, particularly against the Jets and Broncos. Like Raven said, if the Pats lose this one, they should instantly go to last place. I'm not even worried about the Patriots anymore. The Jets win guarantees it's going to be either the Dolphins or the Jets out of the AFC East. The Pats only hope now is to win out and have the Ravens tank the season for a wild card spot.
  12. GO DOLPHINS!!!! Already geared up for the game, heading out in a few minutes. Three wins away from worst team in the NFL to AFC East Champs. Even though New England is currently tied for first, they don't hold their own destiny and need serious help from other teams even if they win out the season. The AFC East will probably go down to the last game between Dolphins@Jets, the winner taking the division title. The Ravens can secure a playoff spot today and a win also puts them in contention for their division.
  13. Which motherboard do you have exactly? I can't recommend an upgrade, until I'm sure. There seems to be two versions of that board one with an 800MHz FSB and one with a 1066MHz FSB. If you have the 1066 an upgrade will do you well, but if it's the 800 then I'd wait and buy new.
  14. You don't see less than 700mb because you have features such as Aero and SuperFetch enabled. At it's bare minimum Vista is just slightly over double the size of XP. SuperFetch alone gives it a speed advantage over XP, even if looks like it's costing you more RAM. If your apps need the RAM Vista will dump the cached memory so the statement you made about there being less RAM for apps is false. Like I said, efficiency does not equal the lowest RAM usage possible. Your speed argument is valid if we're talking about low end and older PC's, but we're not. As far as performance goes, Vista x64 is the PC OS to beat.

  16. He already posted his budget and just the RAM you listed would blow the budget. Your set up is way overkill and needlessly expensive. If you can't make that last at least 3-4 years you have problems.
  17. I'd be happy to help, but what I suggest at $500-$700 today probably won't apply in March. Prices are always changing with technology.
  18. That is the actual picture. The point is that if you actually try to point out the differences between the dolphin and the cow then you're over thinking and need to chill out.
  19. Ipod Touch

I have the 32GB version, and it's an awesome piece of hardware to carry around. The apps available come in handy from time to time, and it's hard to beat as portable entertainment.
  20. What do you define as the next generation? Core i7 and socket 1366 motherboards are already out. A 7600 would cost him as much if not more than an 8600. It's not always cheaper to go with older tech. Please, don't ever post advice in this section again. RAM isn't Vista or XP limited. It's limited by the 32bit Operating System. As long as you have a 64bit OS you can fully utilize your RAM. Most XP users are the ones that are limited. Vista 64bit is a fully capable/usable OS. Can't say the same for XP 64bit. ATI caught up to NVIDIA a while ago. Preference and pricing is really the only difference between most of the cards by either manufacturer. Intel boards are solid performers, but they've always been weak in the OC department. Envy, buying new or upgrading really depends on your budget. You can build a solid dual core system for great prices nowadays, so if you need help feel free to ask.
  21. Alabama vs Gators
