Sure it can. Windows Vista with a non-admin account with a software restriction policy and router firewall. Even if I tried to install a virus under the non-admin account it wouldn't get anywhere. Anyway, the news is nothing new. All OS' are susceptible to exploits. PC's are just a greater target because of the market share.

The settings aren't found on your media player. They're found found in your sound properties located under Control Panel>Sounds (might be different for XP). Depending on your sound card or onboard audio chipset provider, they might offer their own software to handle these settings.

I don't have a problem with what he's saying. If my parents wanted to buy me something expensive and I knew I didn't really want it, I would tell them to save their money. It's worse if they give him the 360 and he never uses it. I'm sure there's plenty of other things they can spend their money on which will be put to much better use. Don't think of it as him whining. 15 minutes from UF sucks. On campus isn't bad because there's plenty of adult extracurricular activities and 45 minutes away isn't bad either because you're either in Orlando, Daytona or Tampa. My money is on the Gators, but I wouldn't be surprised if Saban managed to have a game plan good enough to beat them.

That was kinda true when the first 1TB drives were released. Manufacturers were stuffing 5-6 platters into a drive so problems were bound to happen. Just make sure you don't buy one of these older drives and you'll be alright.

You would save what? $50 max by going with the 150GB HDD. I think the extra space is a nice investment. The pricing sweet spot is on 640GB-1TB HDD right now. Shens! Any decent 64bit OS can easily take advantage of the RAM available. Open up any rendering product and it'll use as much as you give it to work with. You can easily build it for less, but technology is an investment not worthless shit. If it'll help you achieve what you want then don't think twice about it. Things will always become outdated, but it doesn't mean you can't invest in it wisely. If you have the money, do what you want with it.

Dolphins need a win out and they would hold the tie breaker to win the AFC East. Jets can afford a lost except to the Dolphins, unless the Dolphins lose elsewhere.

Out of the once you list, the Command & Conquer Saga. It's the only one that offers a modern game that's still popular and heavily played online. BF2142 is considered a bust and Diablo is old. Any reason why you wouldn't consider newer games?

I kinda figured the Jets were going to win. I just didn't want to say it out loud and be negative about the AFC East situation.

It is early, but have you seen the Jets schedule. The closest contenders are the Patriots. The Jets would have to lose two games, and the Patriots would have to win out. The Jets can afford a lost because they hold the tie breaker. Patriots won the battle today at Foxboro #2, but they lost the war. The entire AFC East was counting on the Titans to win. The Jets win pretty much sealed it for them.

Oh Well Looks like the Jets will be the AFC East champs. Time to cheer for my NFC pick. G-MEN!!!
