  1. Juul’s

Good thing. Juul is meant to quit smoking, not start using tobacco products. Same goes for vaping, children shouldn't jump on them cause "it isn't cigarettes". It may seem harmless, but it is guaranteed that a certain percentage of those juul kids are going to turn into smokers because of the nicotine addiction. Same reason they banned flavored cigarillos in Canada last year.
  2. give him another minute here i am In all seriousness we don't have plans (currently) to re-open the minecraft server. We might have some talks about it in the near-future, you will definitely hear about it if we ever bring it up.

  4. Brain is a lib

ayo dont insult my HUMBLE & NON-EDGY MG REGS ALL TEES
  5. Brain is a lib

i guess that's subjective, but the video showcased on his channel is him doing the exact same thing couldn't get past the brian part, shit sucks :/
  6. You can definitely invite the boys on the server to play on your private server. We don't consider that as advertising at all. The example you said with competitive is the same thing, that's 100% allowed. As long as it wasn't "boys gtfo of sg lets go on XXXclan's MG server", that kind of invitation is okay.
  7. Brain is a lib

no offense to the guy but its a kinda cringy post-hardcore asshole attitude, in gold nova, where he thinks he's hot garbage disappointed he showcased my son brian right next to a csgo gambling website ad, unacceptable.
  8. all of them !style
  9. Why wait for "someone" to record ZE videos when you can do it yourself!
  10. Welcome back gamers to another Steam-Gamers contest! As you may or may not have known, our community actually has its own YouTube channel for you to submit videos to be featured on. nfortunately over the past few years, this channel has died down and is currently inactive, but that is what this thread is about. We are going to be reviving our YouTube channel with your help. In order to revive our YouTube channel and get some community involvement within it, we are going to hosting a Clip of The Month Contest! This contest will include prizes for the winners, as well as an awesome video stitched together by our Media Team featured at the end of the contest. This video will be a montage of all of the submitted clips given they have good enough quality. How Can I Submit Videos? Video Submissions will be available via this form which can also be found by clicking the banner up top. When linking to the video, we ask that you upload it to google drive as a .mp4 file and give us the share link where the form asks for a link to the clip. Please remember to use quality over quantity. Any clips submitted that have poor quality or no meaning will not be used nor considered in the video and contest. What Kinds of Clips Can I Submit? You are allowed to submit any clips from any game or server so long as it remains related to SG. This can mean playing another game such as Overwatch, Fortnite, TF2, etc. with people from SG, or from your time spent on the servers. There is no time restriction on the submissions for these clips, but we ask that you not submit a full demo or gameplay footage to skim through. This does not mean you cannot record with these methods and take clips out yourself to submit. A few methods of recording gameplay are things like plays.tv, steamlabs, OBS, etc. The general requirements for submissions are: - Clips must be SG related in some way, shape, or form - Quality over quantity. Dont spam bad clips or videos - There is no time limit nor requirement, this goes with quality over quantity - Only video files will be accepted. Do NOT submit demo files. How will this be judged? There will be a panel of three judges. The judges for this month's contest are @Black Rain, @roux, and @Clamor. At the end of the month, these three judges will look over all of the submissions and agree on which clip and player won first, second, and third place. These winners will then be announced with the release of the compilation video on our Official Youtube Channel. First Place Prize: 3 random steam games + possibly a surprise CSGO skin ! Second Place Prize: 2 random steam games Third Place Prize: 1 random steam game Submissions for this contest will end on Saturday November 24th. Any videos submitted after this deadline will roll over and be considered for the next Clip of The Month. The winner will not be receiving the YouTube forum award, as this award is being saved for fully edited and submitted videos through the proper form in the YouTube section of our forums. Good luck to all you gamers, and don't forget to tell mom to get the camera SUBMIT A VIDEO NOW

  19. The unique appeal of scrim is to play matches against people within SG, end there. The comp format is used, but we can all agree that what we're playing rarely looks like actual competitive. I don't need evidence to argue against a faceit hub, really. I believe 2 years of scrim and 6 months of managing was enough for me to take that stance (besides, I could argue back by asking the evidence of this being a positive move on a casual community like ours). I know my playerbase. We'd see a potential burst of players, then we'd probably stop playing cause it's not as accessible as a traditional connect ip password command. It would probably make waiting time longers and by no means do I want to insult anybody, but the playerbase I've been dealing with isn't the kind to wait long to get players. Facts are, people who enjoy playing true competitive aren't on scrim. If you enjoy true competition, you don't stick on a server where silvers and GEs fight it out. Our server isn't what it used to be and the skill gaps are bigger than ever. It would kill the scrim community simply by requiring people to use a 3rd party account to get shit on. The argument still stands, and with how scrim has been doing this past week, I wouldn't even consider switching to something more complicated. If with your experience in a hub you don't consider people as toxic players, that's because they all signed up for a faceit hub. If we were to force faceit down everyone's throat (and mine) it wouldn't end well. Since we're talking anecdotes here, if I had to use faceit to join scrim, I'd never join again. No risks, apart from not having scrims for a couple of months
  20. scrim about to beat ZE's rank gratz freaks
  21. I was and still is against completely replacing it. While hubs offer a variety of services and bonuses we wouldn't be able to have, the 3rd party itself might just kill the whole scrim community. Needing a spare client/account just to scrim is something most won't want to be using. It's already hard at times to find a 10th player, just imagine how much it would hurt the amount of games played per week. I'm also concerned of having to go through a 3rd party to customize/fix our shit. I'd rather be held accountable for fuckups than having to wait after a client to update their shit. I've also said in the past that adding detailed stats would probably ruin most people's experience, some people would take their stats too seriously and ruin the fun and casual-side we tend to keep. I am considering using a hub for future tournaments, to make it smoother, but I don't see how positive it would be to have a cool client, nice stats and more while killing the scrim community we have.
