  2. Nobody likes the map. It's one of the most rtv'd we have, music is loud, map is confusing, rounds take too long cause of the labyrinth corridors, etc. I would totally remove the map, and maybe re-add it around october for Halloween.

  7. The breaking point is when somebody tells you to stop, like with swastikas. If a player or an admin asks you to stop, you should stop. Drawing swastikas with bullets is relatively accepted*, but if somebody decides its antisemitism (which is basically racism), you shouldn't keep going.

  9. The password was reset and we're waiting on Lampshade, since his new password isn't working. We won't make an announcement, but message your friends and whenever you see scrims filling up, ask people that are on.
  10. It's also a mechanic that's been there since the invention of soccer in cs. You'd have more to gain from knifing it instead of trying to boost yourself.
  11. That isn't stupid, it is a problem. Although I don't tolerate people not knowing to stop shooting at :45, it wouldn't hurt to have a sound played upon round start, maybe just an ingame radio comm like the "go" command.
  12. I'm not removing any of ZE players' merit, they done good. Had TTT performed to its max with ZE, we still would have lost, that's what I'm saying. TTT's best hovered in the 160s (i think) while ZE has reached 3rd place. The slot size is a factor, but not the only reason, I'm aware. Wesker and Leon really worked their asses off to revive the dead ZE we had months ago. It was indeed a possible win for TTT, but it mostly depended on ZE's performance, especially for the highest place prize. We could have performed way better this past week, some days were really dead, which cost us the final placement prize. wp boys
  13. The servers page graph says otherwise. TTT is way more active than ZE is. However, GameME ranks are made out of daily/weekly averages I believe. If you guys have a 1 day spike to 60 players, no matter how TTT is active, we can't go above an average of 30 players, which explains why ZE won. Doesn't remove anything from your effort, but TTT couldn't have won unless we had EU players on it 24/7.

  18. I've thought about this due to the recent lack of skins donations, I might organize a bi-monthly/monthly "raffle/giveaway" with humble bundle/g2a games. They don't cost much and I might be able to do that myself soon. Your idea isn't crazy and I'm considering it myself.

  20. Out of 12 keys, I got 3350 gems back, which barely gives me a key back (14 sets). This is far from an exploit and doesn't impact the money you make, as you don't even get a key back out of 12 invested.
  21. Giving people head armor wouldn't change a single thing to eden mowing your ass with an ak, they 1 hit.It's also been discussed to nea. It'd be totally unbalanced to remove T armour too. We suggested giving KEVLAR to all, head armor to detectives, which would also be a buyable for Ts, possibly.
  22. I've had a few days to think bout it since no-lifing the karma race, and I've had a lengthy discussion with eden regarding this specific, yet server-wide issue. Do not worry, we're not calling TTT dead or anything (since every bit of criticism directed to TTT seems to be taken that way, leading to defensive and pointless argumentation) but the gamemode is weak, very weak. The state of TTT isn't was it used to be. Repeating myself from LargeAll's post, I believe that the CS part of the server is overwhelming and that TTT has turned into "who has the best aim and reflexes", without exaggerating. The meta is indeed kevlar - ofc, a great part still go for the awp/m4a1s or even fucking tasers - and it is WAY to good of an item to not buy. The idea of giving kevlar to innocents has been suggested and repealed in the past, but I've yet to come to a clear argument of why we shouldn't give innocents normal kevlar. Having thoroughly thought about it with eden, I think it'd be worth trying on our server. Having kevlar doesn't make you simply tankier, but it gives you a chance to fight back an enemy that aims for the body, whereas you have the second shot. The aimpunch reduction can greatly change the course of a firefight, a fraction of a second is saved trying to recover your aim to actually hitting the opponent once or twice. This increases the strategy and skill required to be a successful T. The solution isn't absolute and we're far from revolutionizing the gamemode, but I think it'd be a good thing to think about to make the server somewhat closer to TTT, and not customized deathmatch. It isn't a coincidence that the top TTT players are "Rambos", because the best strategy is to "rambo" innocents. We've also thought about pimping the T store. Many have brought up arguments like "but the fact that you don't expect a T buying it makes it great". Even if I don't expect my opponent buying a Negev without armour on a second round in mm, it's not suddenly a "great" move, or beneficial in anyway. The matchbox is stupidly underused because it has the same cost that a full body armor has, and in a real situation, nobody but trolls have time to use it correctly to its full extent. We used to have death stations, fake bodies, one-hit silenced pistols, etc. that required strategy and fine gameplay to win, since gmod wasn't centered on aiming. This may be another thing to think about, as armor isn't the only thing to be changed, in my opinion. Shoutout to adon for making this delicious post, I really think this is a step in the right direction.
  23. Alright, there's a lot of weird arguments here and there, but I understand where LargeAll is trying to get. Let's stop romanticizing TTT; it is not what it used to be, at all. The argument "back in the gmod days" isn't really working anymore and TTT has become custom deathmatch. I've often thought about giving innocents kevlar w/out helmet and I couldn't reach to a proper conclusion. Unlike what Greggy thinks, you really do not need to "get lucky" to survive a 1v4, this is under-exaggerating it. I've played TTT like a crazy fuck this past month to get karma and let me tell you this: TTT is no longer about "strategy" and "who's the killer" anymore, not at all. I hate to say this but TTT is far from being the roleplay it originally was and it's basically a deathmatch with rules . Anybody who masters the art of not aiming at the crotch will win if playing correctly. CS is an aim game, this is where it differs from Gmod. Back then, like LargeAll said, you'd encounter many servers with a variety of weapons and they'd all be nerfed/buffed to balance it out with the T weapons. Where LargeAll is also right, is that T store is underwhelming, and I agree with that. I buy kevlar, radar, and I don't even know where to spend my credits at that point. Some maps are m4a1-s friendly, others aren't, same goes for the AWP. The rank disparity is so strong, 10 kills rounds aren't even impressive anymore. However, I believe the gamemode is pretty balanced. The ratio is relatively correct, the rounds are, overall, 50/50 and the Ts aren't too much at a disadvantage. Is TTT perfect? No, ofc not. Is TTT dying? Maybe, cause of the way CS is made and meant to be played. Is there something needed to fix TTT at the moment? No, I don't think something affects the gameplay so much it would require a change.
