This little guy's name is Teeny. He's one of my 3 Chinchillas and the youngest of the three. He's 9 years and 6 months old and sadly passed away earlier this morning. He became sick over 1-2 weeks ago and ever since then continually worsened until his motor functions were gone and could only be fed food through a syringe. We did our best taking him to the vet, getting scans, and trying to determine what was wrong with him and if we were able to do anything. Sadly it was already too late and nothing could have been done except give him as much comfort as possible. My family and I were fortunate enough to be with him in his final moments rather than waking up to finding he was gone. And although I am heartbroken for his loss, I am relieved that he is no longer in pain and can finally be at peace. Sorry for the low quality images, these pictures are a few years old but are still some of the cutest images I have of him.

What's up SG, we hope you all had a great Holiday and New Year's celebration but it's time we celebrate these promos. For our first promotion we have someone returning to the Event Coordinator team. He did an amazing job previously and we have no doubt in our minds he'll be as eager and productive as last time. Please welcome back again Kopsta! Their new responsibilities will include: Organize, plan, and run events Manage/Promote special events on our servers Manage and monitor gaming tournaments Make sure servers are ready for all special events Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community Work with the Server Managers to create events that cater to community interests Next up we have everyone's favorite SG streamer who's currently hosting the Wingman Tournament match. This guy has been through a lot over the years on SG and its about time he tried out something new for a change. Please give your warmest welcome to the Design Team newest member Strayyz! Their new responsibilities will include: Manage forum and community website themes and layouts Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc) Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc) Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) Its time we show our Stream Team some love and introduce a new member into the mix. Their new responsibilities will include: Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects Handling player complaints and issuing bans Moderation of the forum Give awards to members on request Send group invitations to members on request Post in-game server problems on the forum Help in any way to make the servers fun Handle reported posts on the forum Now guys, this is getting a little crazy. We're bringing someone up to Server Manager but, it's not just anyone. This guy terrorizes us in our staff discord, he bullies BoM constantly, and worst of all.... HE'S A MUTE! Without further delay (or he will kidnap my family) please put your hands together for 20 scrolls! Verify that servers are operational Reboot dead/lagged servers Assist in training new admins Search for new maps for all servers Upload maps to the servers and fast downloads site Edit map lists & rotations Now onto our final promotions for tonight but before that a quick farewell. Due to unfortunate and unseen circumstances pertaining to personal matters, darth jacen has resigned from Marketing Manager. We wish him luck on his future endeavors and for a hopeful return. We understand that the Marketing Team has been left unloved for quite some time and needs a bit of a refreshing boost of energy. So with Darth's resignation we feel that now's the moment that we have two of the brightest and most experienced brains we have for this team and put them together to charge forward. Hello everyone. This month I have the pleasure of awarding two hard working individuals our Staff of the Month award. I'd like to start this off with my utmost gratitude to both of these staff members for their amazing work in back end discussion and implementation of our new admin Infraction system. I have had the pleasure of managing and working alongside these two gentleman for over a year now and can personally attest to their fantastic work ethic and dedication to keeping our servers and community civil and free of any rule breakers. My personal thoughts are that I’m pretty indifferent about this topic (For CAs). I find it very interesting that there aren’t more CAs actually posting on this topic with their experience and thoughts on why they should deserve it or if it’s not something that they care for. I’m honestly just going to assume that they don’t care unless they post otherwise arguing for what they believe they deserve. edit: nvm, apparently there is a CA award and I straight up just never seen anyone using it lol
