I'm pretty in favor of this. There's been a noticeable issue with staff quality for a while now. What a lot of people don't realize is there are quite a few other communities who have designated teams/individuals which handle admin applications. This change isn't anything crazy. Interested to see how things turn out.

Just gonna mention it's clearly been a while since we had an MGT which is my fault. We're looking to revive the whole MGT tradition starting with this month.

Can you send me the models @lynxie if they're usable? I have ideas for this (not just a themed event).

Seems like everyone has chipped in on this thread, so I'll just run through everything once again. Silent AWP price was raised. I mentioned it on another thread, but I am interested in exploring adjusting the amount of credits traitors are currently getting, and I'm also cool with reevaluating the stats/price of the Silent AWP. I'll run anything by Gentoo and we'll come to a conclusion. Tripmines I haven't seen used much. Once again I'll talk to Gentoo about the price and if we see the need to change anything we will. We were having issues with multiple tripmines being accessible on purchase which is why you only get one and they're dirt cheap. It was a quick fix which we didn't put much discussion into and we can look to balance it if needed. I'm fine with keeping Hurt Stations as it is. People aren't really using it so it's hard to really justify any changes based off "potential" when it clearly hasn't played out enough to the point where it's become meta. If the item gains some traction and it's clear the balance is off we'll change some stuff up. Karma contest very soon. I believe I ran the Hide and Seek idea by one of my Event Coordinators a little while back, and there were some disagreements on whether this event would stray off TTT too much and just annoy some people or whatever. Regardless, I might consider exploring this event. I have a few other new and original ideas for TTT events I might try out soon. Sorry for being so dry on events lately, college really caught up to me and I couldn't focus on the server. Lastly I come on late nights every now and then and add new items to the map pool. Catch me on some late night hours and you might get some mini-events. Thanks for the detailed suggestions.

So I haven't really played Karma, and I'm going to trust what Trazz is saying that this plugin doesn't currently work with the TTT plugin. It sounds like a very complicated addition which would require a pretty beefy tech request. There are a few things I need to get fixed on the server first, like the RTV bugs, which have priority. I'm not going to necessarily rule it out, but it might be a while before this idea is explored if we choose to try it out.

I'm not interested in adding AWPs to the gun pool of maps. The problem with having tons of good weapons that weren't purchased by traitors was highlighted in the M4A1-S meta back when detectives got them for free. It wasn't much of an issue that innocents and detectives had them, but they became easily accessible for traitors. Traitors will almost always have the first shot, so giving them easier opportunities for very easy kills (M4A1-S, AWP, etc.) without having to purchase anything just throws off the balance of the game. Traitor items would also just begin losing their strength and importance if we threw in weapons of similar capability on the map gun pools too. As for the Silent AWP, we did raise the price a bit. Adding credits for body identification made it a lot easier for traitors to get credits, which might be something I'll look into getting changed for traitors. We'll continue to assess the Silent AWP and make sure it's balanced and fair.

We're having something coming out for Christmas very, very soon. As for the map pool, I'm a bit confused how 2 of those maps are Christmas related, but we have some maps in mind.

I don't really purchase many games, I usually grind the hell out of one game at a time, which is why I have 7k hours on CS:GO. However, I did buy Phasmophobia and it's pretty enjoyable. I hope to see some jumpscares added to the game when you die. I'm getting a VR headset and will certainly enjoy playing it. Definitely worth the purchase. Also.. you forgot Fall Guys. Died super quick but the hype was nuts before Among Us took over.

You're misunderstanding the point I'm getting at here. Also.. I'm not praising other nations for their handling of COVID. They're not even back to normal like you say they are. COVID cases in Europe are spiking too and I sure as hell don't believe any information coming from China. We don't have access to a long-term solution yet until we develop a vaccine ready for the American people. Our life won't be anywhere close to normal until we reach that point. However, we have an opportunity to return to somewhat normal operations to keep our country afloat until we can ship out a vaccine and virtually end the pandemic. How can we accomplish this? Wearing the fucking masks and distancing ourselves. The science is out there for the American people to see. The masks and distancing do help - if you don't believe that.. you're delusional. Everyone except those who wear tin foil hats or blindly consume the bullshit anti-COVID right-wing propaganda have the brain capacity to understand that. Almost every fucking scientist in the country will tell you they help. The masks aren't going to make COVID go away, but they sure help slow the spread. The masks are here to slow the spread so it's safer for businesses to reopen, people to make a living, kids to get a quality education, and also so lives can be saved. These are processes we legitimately need to survive as a nation, not a choice. What is a choice is whether you choose to wear a mask or not. When morons go out without masks to exercise their American rights, they're putting those around them in danger and contributing to the surge this country is experiencing. That's what's going to close the businesses and schools, and those same idiots turn around and cry about how the "tyrannical government" is killing this country and shit needs to reopen. They should be pointing the fingers at themselves. Yeah, I am drawing a line between what is acceptable and isn't, but I'd argue it's a damn good one and one that most people with common sense and morals would agree with. There is an option that has been scientifically proven to reduce spread of the virus and empowers the country to reopen while we wait on the vaccine, yet what do we have? Morons preaching that the masks are a creation of the devil. American leadership who publicly refused to wear masks, hosted unsafe indoor gatherings, and even ridiculed people for wearing masks. The fact people are choosing not to slightly inconvenience themselves in order to help this country legitimately function is ignorant, unethical, and quite frankly, unpatriotic. A real patriot would wear a mask and not bitch about it knowing their efforts might be the reason why someone will get to see their grandmother again.
