We'll be speaking to the Server Managers about this event. While obviously we don't want to change the game too much, it sounds interesting and might get people to try out some TF2.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you here, but this mindset doesn't make sense at all. Anti-maskers preach it all the time: we can't keep the country locked down. Businesses need to reopen for our economy. Schools need to reopen so students can actually get a quality education. People need to get out of their houses for the sake of their mental health during a time of surging suicide rates. You know what we absolutely can do? Wear a mask when we're near others and distance ourselves. To say people can't criticize people for not wearing a mask since they aren't keeping themselves locked in their basements all day is unfair and ignorant. No, you're not obligated to wear the mask, nor should our government (or anyone for that matter) force you to. Just remember though, every time you choose not to be safe and wear a mask around others, understand what you're doing to your country. COVID-19 cases are seeing a massive surge. Businesses are being shut down again and people are getting laid off. Hospitals are once again reaching full capacity. People are failing their classes due to the worsening quality of their education. People are blasting their brains out due to the isolation and mental stress the pandemic put onto them, like that 11-year-old boy who shot himself during his Zoom class the other day. People aren't going to get to embrace their loved ones again. So congratulations, you've exercised your freedoms as an American and didn't put a mask on, but you've sacrificed our ability to return to normal and happy lives. To me, it's heartbreaking to see how many purposefully choose not to wear the masks around others, especially those who take pride in their decisions. It reveals the ugly truth about a lot of people in this country. They would rather go out and engage in risky behaviors, which contribute to the massive loss of jobs and lives across the country, then put a damn piece of cloth on their face. It's disgusting and shows a total lack of empathy for those in more unfortunate circumstances.

The whole pandemic really exposed how entitled and inconsiderate some Americans are when they can't deal with the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask in order to help others.

One of my favorite dog breeds is a Border Terrier, which isn't a very common breed in the US. I have a 7-year-old Border Terrier and he's small enough where he's manageable but he often has a lot of energy, enjoys playing, and isn't a lap dog.

So this was removed with the new plugin because of massive visual bugs. I'll see if we have a fixed version and hopefully will get it back on the server soon.

Once again, all of this goes together. If you're killing someone for a traitorous act, you can KOS them for a traitorous act. You can use location and sound to figure out who committed a traitorous act. The killing off location rule is not worded right currently. The reason we have a location rule is to prevent people from KOSing a certain location, such as "KOS everyone in the yellow house." I'm going to look to get this changed soon.

So we didn't get movie night to happen due to some issues with streaming movies, but thanks to everyone who attended these events. It was a lot of fun and hope everyone had a great Halloween

Way to criticize my perfect server, dick. I'll talk to Gentoo about these but I'll drop my initial impressions on your comments here (in order) before I go to bed. I haven't been on the server much lately though so I'll have to take it up with the team. Traitors 1) I'm down to reevaluate the price of the Silent AWP 2) Tripmine prices got fucked when we threw together a solution for the item issues. I enjoyed when it was a 3 mine purchase but for some reason it would instantly place down all three. Rather than changing the price, here's a potential alternate solution: I can change the cvar of the # of tripmines a traitor can purchase. 3) Just like the first point I'm down to reevaluate the price Events 1) Intend on getting a karma contest out hopefully soon? 2) I will look into this. I think I talked to some ECs about an event along the lines of this and I think it would be really cool. 3) Sure when I'm online. Also, since someone brought up haste rounds, do you guys actually like these? I've heard mixed reactions from them. Do you guys think its too harsh on traitors? Let me know.

Context really matters here. Reading off the comments left in your admin application I felt like it was pretty clear you were talking that way in a non-joking context (explaining rules, what happened in the game, etc.). Harder to say BloodBlades was genuinely being toxic rather than just joking around with his friend since you only provided snippets of his chat log. Notice how Black Rain said in her reply it was your toxicity and behavior, not that it was your language choice. You don't have to censor yourself, but understand how you should approach different situations. Don't flame someone for RDMing you or breaking a rule on TTT. I've played for 2+ years and manage the server yet I still make mistakes. If you just remind yourself it's just a game and nothing more you'll notice how much better you handle stuff like that. No need for everyone else to give this guy a rough time. I appreciate you coming here and asking a question about your concerns.

Yeah, @Acer pretty much summed it up. We've toyed around with retakes events before but it doesn't seem appropriate to host events on a server meant to simulate normal Counter-Strike. While I don't plan on hosting events on this server, I do plan on adding seasons with prizes soon. Wouldn't classify it as an "event" but it's close to one.

Thanks @euro for the banner! Halloween is coming up, so it's time for our annual Halloween event! We've added some maps, models, and other changes for this event. We've added the following maps to the rotation: ttt_biocube_sgport ttt_deadfarm_sg ttt_haunts_sg ttt_pmk_lavendertown_go ttt_salazar_castle_v2 ttt_slender_slender_sgfix_1 zs_stormy_days @Gentoo and @Damon have also made us a Halloween version of one of our most popular maps for the event: ttt_closequarters_spky_v2 We've also gone ahead and added 7 models for our players and supporters to use! Public: Mummy (T) Myers (CT) Basic Supporter: Krueger (T) Ghostface (T) Premium Supporter: Pennywise (T) Slender Man (CT) Elite Supporter: Pyramid Head Lastly, we've gone and changed body models to a spooky shadow ball for a bit more festivity. You can still click E on the ball to find out the role of the dead player. This event will from October 12th to November 1st to give everyone plenty of time to enjoy the event.
