1. This is the 4th time that I’ve been forced to retype this. SG pls fix the forums on mobile, it keeps crashing and restarting my editor. No quotes because I want to spite you some more. Alright, he responded, let’s take a quick look as to what he posted and then make guesses as to what the person behind the computer actually is like. “Reading through your post I could see that you put a lot of time into trying to aggravate and insult me, but you also had some point. So, let’s be reasonable and discuss instead of calling me a, “pretentious cunt” and then insinuating that I am foaming at the mouth.” That’s the goal. I could be like those SG fucks up there and type a reasonable critique as to why you’re a dumbass, but I like pointing fingers at others and laughing. It suits me better, don’t you think? Also, the whole post took me 30 minutes to type and format, surprising how much you can get done when you’re dedicated enough. Further onwards. “Admittedly you have a point when you said that I insulted kuri. If you want to hear my side about it, it was a joke that was thrown around as the mood at the time on the server was very light. As I have never seen you on the TTT server, I expect that you think it is a toxic cesspool like JB where every word is an insult. If you played more, you would know that that was just the only time I have poked fun at kuri, and my interactions with other admins have all been nothing short of, at the very least, respectful.” I don’t want your context. That was my point. That DBD screenshot could also have been out of context. You could’ve flamed him, and his response was in retaliation. I am a JB player, but I’ve played over a day and a half of TTT, about 20% of your 8 days on the server that you’ve apparently mained for the past 3 years (player break or whatever included). Pick those numbers up, homie! Additionally, https://imgur.com/a/rbw7x8O hahaha of the two admin interactions you’ve had recently in text chat, both of them involved you making fun of them. Of course you could disprove this by providing a video of yourself interacting with another admin respectfully, but you probably won’t. We continue. “You then go on to suggest that I should be banned on the forums for admin disrespect. You say that I implied that multiple of the admins are bad; you’re right, I did. But what else do you expect when their actions, deleting months of chat-logs, is basically sinister, and for fun, nonetheless? I was even told that they received punishments by another administrator, so I definitely know that someone more important than you agrees. If you’d like, you could go and file a player complaint on me disrespecting the admins, I’d have a good laugh at that.” I would never insinuate (vocab word of the day) that what those admins did was right, but when it comes down to it, you disrespected admins and then admitted that you did later. Saying that anyone is more important than me hurts my fragile ego, so we’re gonna toss that into the “I’m not gonna address” bin, right next to “Multiple people have mentioned this, and yet you never touch on that, and then complain that you have to retype responses. I wonder why?” Oops. As for making a player complaint, I would love to, but a good friend of mine told me how to handle toxic players, say it with me now, “that's your problem, not mine.” Next paragraph. “Plus, it seems like you deliberately twisted what Steven said to me. Steven said that I had said that all admins are incapable of doing their job, and I corrected him and said only some. Again, you insult me by saying I haven’t read the whole thing, but here we are.” Oh, you said only some? Lemme double check: “but please, read the whole fucking thing.” That doesn’t seem like only some, that sounds like you insulted another admin. Add that to the tally! Don’t hide behind the “I prefaced that with me not meaning to be an asshole” argument. That’s passive-aggressive as fuck. If you want to call Steven out for not reading the whole thing, then do it, ya wuss. *insert transition sentence here* “On top of this, you ignored that I said that perma-bans have to be issued in order to outpace the rate at which new rdmers are created, and instead opted to portray me as an asshole who wants to perm everyone. I also suggested that it only be issued more laxly in situations of mass-rdm, but yet again, you skipped over this.” I’m not portraying you as an asshole, you are. If you want to permanently ban someone from playing the server for RDMing someone six times, you are an asshole. Zainab got banned for 3 days, so it appears that an administrator more important than you agrees. I never mentioned massrdm in my original post, as other admins said it better, so I don’t know why you’re bringing it up. “While you are correct in saying that I offered few solutions, I explicitly have said in the original text and to many others in replies that I only wanted to address and make known the issues. But of course, I can’t not get a stick shoved up my ass by someone like you for something as small as that. Oh, and I have filed player complaints before. And I don’t have an issue with admin bullying.” You wanted to make which issues known? Rulebreakers suck I want more severe punishments People don’t want to talk to me Badmins Server crashes which according to you have been known for 3 years Oh, and I have seen the player complaints you filed, they were both rejected due to lack of evidence. If you’re getting RDMed all the time, then why can’t you provide proof of these incidents? And you do have an issue with admin bullying: “If you can’t see something wrong with an admin calling me and another admin faggots then you need an attitude adjustment.” That is, unless you’ve had an attitude adjustment within 24 hours. “Next, you also propose that the admins ignore me and say, “It’s your problem” because you disagree with me, and instead of acting civilized like most others on this thread so far, you also go on to suggest that I am foaming at the mouth. Thanks.” I’m not saying that admins should shun (word of the day #2) you because I disagree with you, I’m saying that you should be ignored because you complain about the current state of affairs and do nothing about it. The admins should do the same, complain about rdmers and do nothing about it. Additionally, I think I should be a bit more civilized, so I formally apologize for suggesting you are foaming at the mouth. “And then, you also say that I pointed a finger at Dominic and said that I have portrayed them as shitty people. Where in the fuck did I ever do that. I only used them as examples of how we don’t know the personalities of the people who get the job, but you seem to have taken this as a direct insult to yourself even when both Dominic and Zayne have been permed and BoM stated that Dominic is no longer the same person as he was. So I really don’t what to say to you, are you just feigning ignorance so you can continue your crusade against my opinions?” Nevermind, I formally rescind (vocab word of the day #3) my apology, mouth-foam levels are approaching new highs. I may have used poor wording when I said that you thought they were bastards, but even then, they aren’t conniving. As far as I’m concerned, BoM isn’t the entirety of SG, and both Dominic and Zayne are respectable admins for other communities, so I don’t think they’ve changed too much. “In short, your entire response is filled with nothing but jumps to conclusions and assumptions that echoes immaturity. Your statements about me are rather daunting as well, and I’m sorry that I somehow made you feel this way. Well, I’m sorry this response couldn’t be three pages like you wanted. If you’ve calmed down enough to formulate a reasonable and not as insulting response when I’ve posted this, we can continue this discussion. Otherwise, I won’t be wasting any more motor function on typing back, and you can have fun burning my effigy.” Don’t apologize to me, apologize to the people you have passive-aggressively attacked. The response was enough to already convey the fact that you were looking for a fight. I’m honestly sort of glad that it kept deleting my responses, as I definitely don’t want to hurt your poor fingies. Don’t bother responding to this if you want to keep on attacking me, as if that is the case, I’ve already shown I have thicker skin than you.
2. One of the main reasons I like crossfire is because it gives Ts a reason not to run into concentrated fire. If crossfire was considered freekill, Ts would run towards a CT spray, claim crossfire, and get the CT slain. With a 1:2 ratio, Ts would win even more than normal.
3. To start this off, I’m writing this on my phone, so no quotes mainly because I want to spite you. All of these people are either admins or planning to be one (Amazing), but I’m not planning on making one anytime soon. So, I don’t have to be as curt when I call you (pardon my french) a pretentious cunt. Let’s take a look at you, shall we? Scrolling through some chat logs, we find that you made fun of kuri, shown here: https://imgur.com/a/zdSg9Ow “Oh, but it lacks context!” So was yours. Later on, you called out certain admins involved in the money hack discord “riot” and implied that those admins were bad. Whether or not they were is simply out of the question, and not important to the topic, because what we have now are two counts of admin disrespect. You advocated for more severe punishment, so I say you should receive a permanent forums ban. Why not? If we named a number of days, you rarely post, so the ban doesn’t really matter, does it? You’ve contradicted yourself repeatedly across this entire thread. You claimed that Steven didn’t read the thread, when saying that all admins didn’t do their job, yet not once does Steven say that. It may be a misunderstanding but even then, did YOU read what he said? You said that 20 scrolls don’t disagree as both of you say perming players takes a while. However, again, you say that as if it is a bad thing. He is saying that perming players requires a substantial reason for doing so, and saying “I got RDMed 6 times” isn’t enough. You said that Crow hasn’t gotten on in a long time, yet the guy’s played an hour yesterday, and 2 hours the day before. I would never say to not contradict yourself, I have disproven myself repeatedly. I’m sure if you wanted to you could find times where I was wrong, and show that to me, but unlike you, I don’t attempt to belittle others while doing so. Don’t make a huge fucking deal out of whether or not you have typed something over and over again, just quote it, make it bigger. If the goal of communication is to get your ideas across to other people, then don’t fucking say “its not my problem”, because by doing so, not only have you failed your task of not getting your point across, you’ve made yourself look like a moron who can’t take criticism well. If you’re such a pedant as to tell Mikey to properly space his LITERAL REPLY TO YOUR THREAD, then try not typing your original thread in bold. Now to the whole reason you’re complaining, the servers. I don’t really have anything to add that hasn’t already been stated before, however, what I did see was a lack of solutions to said problems. You got RDMed? Report it and make a player complaint. The admins bullying you? Leave the server and make an admin complaint. Don’t say you’re too lazy to do so, and then turn around gasp at how many bad admins there are. Next time, admins, don’t help this guy. Just say “it’s your problem” and continue helping the rest of the server. Don’t accuse the admins for not doing their job because it isn’t. They are people just like anyone else on the server. SG is a community of online gamers, not a fucking government. They have outside lives just like yourself and they’re just trying to make the community a little bit cleaner. You point at Dominic and other admins, saying that they were shit people, when, in reality, they were people who make stupid mistakes. Dominic wrote the JB rules and is probably chiefly responsible for the reason why we break 30 almost every night. Zayne was a respectable admin in his own right (I didn’t interact with him too much), and to trample on the things they’ve done to say that they’re conniving, sneaky bastards is disrespectful to SG as a whole. Multiple people have mentioned this, and yet you never touch on that, and then complain that you have to retype responses. I wonder why? Now, onto me. I’m a JB player who’s been playing on the servers since 2017 (just like you!) and I’m also unhappy with how the servers are (just like you!). I mean, now that Chad’s AT of JB, who knows what will happen? However, I am offering solutions to problems over at the servers, and working with admins to ensure that the servers are cleaner than before. I’m sure you’re already foaming at the mouth, rabid because someone on the internet called you a moron, but rather than formulating a 3 page essay as to why I am wrong and stupid, I suggest looking at why things are the way they are, and trying to figure out a solution. Nevertheless, I look forward to said 3 page essay and will only gloss over it and assume that you called me literally hitler. I mean, shouldn’t everyone get a taste of their own medicine?
4. i would vote for vanya but he made fun of neon, 20 scrolls gets my vote
5. for IAO, TA, and Directors, there's only one round, so whats goin on there? besides that gl to you guys
6. congratulation
7. Congratulations to all! btw first
8. can i refund the bedwars event in exchange for survival build contest ill also accept gamestop store points
9. I see why that is definitely a bad thing - at the start of quarantine we broke 30 on a Monday morning iirc, which was insane, but playing on higher pops means that orders fall on top of each others, and a stacked ratio for the Ts means less-than-competent CTs switch over, leading to more and more havoc. This is personally why I don't play at higher player counts, and can definitely understand why a new player wouldn't want to. You spawn in as someone shouts a confusing, garbled order into their shit-tier mic, as someone else is playing whatever rap song they feel like into the microphone, and you domed in the head for "blatancy". Sure, a bigger number means more concurrent players, it also means less chance for newbies to join in as well.
10. the absolute madman Congratulations you turbo-virgin
11. Ratios have been fairly stacked towards CTs, as far as I've been seeing. New regs have been playing CT more and more often, and many players ask to be switched when admins ask. ngl Rawmondz you played at probably the lowest point in the day, but even then, ratio was like 5-12. !ctbuy is used more by regs because they probably have it binded (i do), and a notification shows up in chat telling players about it. As for new features, that would probably come from experience, would it not? I don't think we have the MOTD to show up as you log in anymore, so besides trying to explain the entire rule list, just link them the rules thread or something. speaking of which !rules has things that go off the screen admin pls fix
12. isn't this just town of salem with less roles and more minigames
13. Didn't the original version of jb_clouds have much better optimization, as players on first island didn't have to load second island and vice versa? I heard there were problems with that version of the map but things might have changed.
14. I 100% agree with this, but now we're just talking about how to make JB more fun, new players will still get domed for bad orders whether or not there is a t point restriction. If you're riding out 20 minutes over 5 t points because you're bored, then that is tough shit. Sure, if CTs give garbage can orders every round and don't let Ts rebel at all, that would turn players away regardless of how they will join CT.
15. I don't really understand what you mean. I'm not saying that every new player will instantly start breaking rules, in fact, many new players want to learn the rules. The requirement is not to prevent every new player from playing CT, but to keep out players who simply don't know the rules or the style of the server. A T who wants to freekill still waits 20 minutes to get onto CT, no matter how epic of a rebeller you are. I perhaps misworded what I said, but even then, it's 5 kills preventing you from joining CT. Even bad Ts who excel at CT side can still get 5 points to switch. Players who have hundreds of hours on CT still don't lead the round and know the rules to a tee, and there's nothing wrong with that. You definitely CAN learn something from dying over and over, but you definitely don't learn as well firsthand. Perhaps having dead Ts watch good CTs enforce might allow them to learn faster, but much easier to put a number on something, like the T points.
16. I'm not sure how this is a bad thing either, skill level is how jb currently runs. If you're insane and get 5 kills in the first round of JB (already an outlier), they still have to wait through 20 minutes of alive time to get onto CT. If JB is your first foray into CS:GO servers, it should be difficult, there's a lot of things to learn. Where is 25 coming from? I never stated it in my original post and my post rebutting what you said literally says that 25 is a large number. 5 is a number that is easily low enough for new players to spend time on and experienced players to glide through. Sure, it's definitely important to have time on T under your belt, but if you're inexperienced enough to not be able to kill 5 CTs within a reasonable amount of time, it's simple: stay off CT.
17. Hey look more order inconsistency: "All Ts LR" implies an LR by any time OR 3 seconds reasonable, yet most people have come to a consensus that LR orders should allow for 10-15 seconds advance. The rules don't explain this at all.
18. If you're not very good at the game (don't know secrets, poor aim), the time requirement for 5 tpoints is about 100 minutes total, which is extremely reasonable if you simply don't know any of the rules. As Vanya said, a regular CT ban time for mass freekill is 2 hours, or 120 minutes. Secondly, if you're playing for fun, and don't really care about the gamemode, then play T for 2 hours. If you want to play CT, and know all the rules, then play for kills for 20 minutes, and then you can chill on CT. Thirdly, we lost that "role play" side of Jailbreak years ago. You wanna play seriously? Go play Tango. The JB ATs have made it clear months ago: The deathmatch style is the way we're going to keep heading. Again, if you're a bad T, why should you play CT? Do we want players that can't follow CT given orders? 5 t points, no matter however long it takes, is extremely reasonable from the worst player to an incredible rebeller. I played JB today for about 3 hours at non-peak times (basically from 4-7), and every freekiller who claimed they knew the rules? Under 5 t points. Admins had to warn them repeatedly to stop breaking rules, which could all be cleaned up with a requirement. 30 minutes of playing does not mean that you know the rules. Having t points shows that you have either good aim or good knowledge on the rules, maps and secrets. If you get domed round after round for not following orders, then why should you be able to pick up a primary and enforce orders? Additionally, !forcerules was rejected because players could, you know, not read the thing on their screen. The number is 5, people. 25 t points is a large number, and bad Ts will take a very long time to get there, but you can get 5 in a round if you're lucky or good enough.
19. I definitely understand why 25 t points was rejected: plugging 25 t points into the equation gives us 125 minutes on the low side, and 500 minutes on the high side, which I agree is a large hurdle for good and bad players alike. I think if we had less, but better CTs, they can easily run jb better than more bad CTs talking over each other and giving bad orders. A 5-15 ratio is more winnable for CT on razor with good CTs than a 8-12 ratio with bad ones. If getting 5 kills on T side turns you away from playing CT, then I guess no one's playing Tango with their CT quiz or whatever.
20. Currently the plugin measures only t side time alive, which means that if you spend 4 rounds of 5 minutes just chilling in your cell you're eligible to play CT without doing a single order. The t point requirement basically asks new players to learn how to rebel, follow orders before they become CT.
21. Can we just finally get one already, it's been tiring to no end to just have CTs with 0-15 t points freekilling because they simply don't know the rules. Apparently the last time this was shot down was because bad Ts stand less of a chance to get CT. That is simply a bad reason, because if you're not a semi-capable rebeller, you shouldn't be CT, simple. I propose a bare minimum 5 t point requirement to play CT. Let's do some math: A typical JB player averages 0.05 to 0.20 kills per minute online. On average, T's die at around 2:00, let's say, as CT's force deathgames and maybe kill rebellers. This means that we can multiply an average kpm by 5/3 (5 minutes divided by 3 minutes alive) to get average kills per minute alive. Currently, the requirement of time alive on T side to get CT is 20 minutes (according to Infinity), so on the low end the requirement is 2 t points (rounded from 1.66...) and the higher end is 7 (rounded from 6.66...). The average of those two numbers is 4.16, which for simplicity's sake should be moved to 5. All these calculations are very rough estimates, but if these simple requirements are fulfilled, we will definitely see improvement in the CT side. Thanks for listening to my TED talk, I will now be taking any questions.
22. We did that last time and guess what happened yeah we freekilled like half of them
23. I'd watch with popcorn
24. I was insulted out of the vc incredible event, thumbs up
