  1. I definitely agree with @Gentoo here. Like he said, Jailbreak has many common and understood sayings. I also want to say what @Dominic and @Takuto said about the fact that removing part of the rule wouldn't make sense, and looking back on it now wouldn't make sense. I think what we should do is grandson this order into the rule, and a LOT of other common informalities on JB. Note: This is probably a generally thought idea and probably something already discussed, but just thought it would be use-full to throw it into this discussion. Rule for reference: • CTs aren't allowed to enforce or create their own KOS rules! This means CT's cannot bypass warning shots for situations that call for them, despite saying otherwise.
  2. Of course it's common sense. However in the eyes of a T who wants to rebel, if a CT says "back up" he can just take a half step back. Then if he's killed/freeshot/etc. he has the right to whine and complain on mic. While he did back up, since no specific location or length (not allowed) was given he is completely in the right. I've seen CT's panic order "freeze" when they're about to die and accidentally freekill, so what stops this order from causing the same confusion/headache. I never thought order's like "back up", "stop and most general orders like "you there stop" were okay because they're open to interpretation and cause too much chaos.
  3. "Austin, also known as The RZA would make the most amazing great boyfriend" Interesting quote....
  4. "Especially good at bread collecting" Haha
  5. Waiting
  6. Aight then let's see you go
  7. @Dominic I see how this might be confusing, I myself just got confused re-reading it. What I meant to say was that I believe the rule of • CTs aren't allowed to enforce or create their own KOS rules! This means CT's cannot bypass warning shots for situations that call for them, despite saying otherwise. only applies to carrying out the order. I know the order says "Ct's aren't allowed to enforce or CREATE their own KOS rules!", but maybe it should change. I say this because there's a fine line between saying something, and putting action into it. In this scenario of bed or dead, you're not enforcing the order of, "you're dead if you're not on a bed". I believe the reason the order/saying was created was because it was a more fun way of giving an in-cell order. It also gives a little more of a fun vibe to the whole strict location order here location order there aspect of JB. I see nothing wrong with the current standings of the order, and while I'm all down for getting into the nitty gritty of rules and wordings I think this discussion ends here. I haven't witnessed this as too much of a problem, and while others may bear witness it definitely doesn't happen more than a few times a week. To reciprocate what I said earlier, we have a community filled with players who are quick to action. So, when these situations take place someone is quick to the rescue (Helping out, making sure everyone knows the rules [Hopefully usually being polite whilst at it]). Sorry for the confusion again, I usually get ahead of myself in these great discussions and while I write one thing my brain is already on the next (Causing errors making it confusing).
  8. Yes, it is. However I think that this rule applies to carrying out this decision. More often that not I mess around with some friends and go "I'm freekilling you next round just wait" or "WOAAAAAH did you just take TWO steps when I said one? That's it you're SOOOO dead", and it's this witty banter that keeps JB fresh and fun for me. I'm not actually going to go through with it am I, I'm just stating it. So when someone says "Bed or dead" and instead warning shoots someone for not being on a bed, they're not creating a KOS order. They're just saying something they're not going through with.
  9. this YES
  10. Just to summarize/conclude since this thread has kinda gone down the toilet , there's nothing wrong. Most people understand the saying "bed or dead" as in get on your bed or else suffer a warning shot. When this order is called out multiple CT's also chime in to say various things like these: "If you don't have a bed get on a toilet!" "Bed or neck" "Bed or deaaaaaaaaddddddddddd". The majority of the community knows how this order works, and if they don't they get it after it's been given once. In honesty, whenever a new player makes a mistake they're quick to apologize and slay. If they're not familiar with a rule they get notified about their mistake, and usually adapt. Of course some people just don't care and freekill but that's why we have the Player Complaint squad. Now accepting new applicants, player complaint squad 1 member and rising
  11. To make a general statement here, they should all be kos. Where this whole thread started was with the Spy vs. spy in-cell secrets (or whatever you want to call them) whether they should be KOS or not. I think, like what DML and deli said, ALL vents/secrets of breaking textures of the map to get into somewhere new should be KOS. It would be very rare for a CT to see a T use these when they do use them (The first 10 seconds of the round), thus we should just keep it KOS to get rid of confusion.
  12. I'd definitely do it as long as long as I don't have to do much work.
  13. where is the qotd for 4/19/19???? (I hope your comment section turns into this)

  14. I would love to learn how to fly a jet. Maybe as some sort of last of life I would either buy or attempt to steal a fighter jet, fly around, fuck around, and do loopdy loops, then eject myself without a parachute (preferably over the ocean). I'd get caught but skydiving would be a realistic thing to do.

  16. In my opinion, this would simply get extremely messy and confusing. A T will get a pardon, a CT will accidentally kill the T upon the LR completion because they weren't listening and etc. . I think the rule should stay in place, because of what @Noxstar said, the rounds would drag out to its full length leaving players bore out of their minds and end up leaving.
  17. I used to eat froot loops out the box with no milk (I was like 6 and knew no better). Yogurt and rice is also super good but all my family members think it's weird.
  18. Congratulations everyone! This is a group of very talented people and I'm anticipating what you guys are going to bring to the table!
  19. Recently I take a bath (after practice), grind my homework (large source of my stress), or play as T on JB with everyone muted and just rebel
  20. The reason I made this thread is because this is how everyone enforces isolation. If you try enforcing through the window you get 1 tapped by 1 t inside a stack of 10. In my opinion, since everyone is incorrectly enforcing (the only "way" where you don't die) the whole order should be abolished. I have never once seen someone get told off for tapping into isolation and A LOT of the times spraying through. Completely getting rid of the rule saves you guys (The admins) A LOT of hassle when it comes to these very often situations. @fantastic
  21. So since the dawn of my time here at SG, "crouch walk no jumping to the back wall of iso" has been an everlasting toxic order that CT's (myself included) enjoy giving. The main issue with the order is the ignorance of the CT's. When they try to "enforce" the backwall of isolation they do one of two things. 1. They either spray through Iso doing two things, A giving multiple warning shots when only one is needed, or B, hitting people that are on the backwall (THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME). Or #2, they might tap the back wall, but they still end up HITTING PEOPLE ON THE BACKWALL. This leads to a whole mess of T's complaining and CT's not owning up to their mistakes etc. I think that in reality, if an inmate is sent to isolation they are not forced to stand on the back wall etc. (I see how this logic is flawed based off the fact this is CS:GO and we have giant soccerballls and last requests including harming guards but you get the point). I think all the orders that force us to be on a location in isolation should be removed, simply making it "Crouch walk no jumping to isolation" (Or whatever sending variation they CT's want to give)
  22. Like many people I wanted to become a Youtuber, then Police officer. Now that i'm somewhat learning things in science, that field of area seems interesting.
