  3. I have no clue what to buy, because buying auras and trails on jb is T as anti-proggresive, but it'll be great to see some more regulars on jb!
  4. Personally I don't think armour would be helpful to the already stacked gamemode. Something cool might be a flashbang or smoke, where similar to jihad only one of each can be bough by the team each round. I would like to see the two items be expensive, and the round bonuses/money given decreased so it's a little more balanced. Thanks @Fuze for brining this thread back.

  7. I don't know if it's just me but every time I get burnt out from CS:GO I go play Minecraft for a week or two, get bored, and go back to CS. I think that the two games supplement each other and advertising the MC server (the less popular one) would help a lot. I think we're all very excited to see the newest SG server get a lot bigger, and all we need is the players to fill it.
  8. Like what @Metal said it's not the map that's bad but the CT's. Multiple times I give a second island order as CT and I end up getting ganked by all the t's because none of my ct's came with me. Instead of giving the map a bad map how about we give the CT's a bad wrap. I understand we can't just immediately yell at ct's on first island, but when we have an issue like this repeat multiple times it needs to stop. This idea might be a little much, but we could try and edit the map? In a way so the CT's are forced to stay on second island (We would do this by editing the map). I wouldn't mind attempting to learn how to edit/create maps in order to save clouds_beta. The process of editing should be something like make the cells open automatically, and have no bridge to the maincell area (instead a teleporter straight to second island). This way if someone stays in armory they can easily be called out and reported. I had an idea for the t's to have a 1-way portal to second island but it's rough. We really shouldn't kick out such a good map because of shitty CT's. Please guys, let's save clouds. I really honestly think we should attempt to fix the problem of our CT's first, and if Clouds still "kills the population" then maybe bring this discussion back up again.

  14. What @ThRza said is completely true, because of the fact that razor variations are extremely popular some map rules won't be acknowledged because it lacks map-made death-games. Something that people brought up was abuse, but we have a strong player-base and admins. If someone is to break this rule regulars are quick to explain the infraction and are either recording to report an ongoing abuse. Admins might have to pay closer attention to games like "Simon Says" or "First reaction last reaction", but I think it's a good sacrifice so our players can enjoy a round where it's not just "Crouch walk to pool, crouch walk to soccer, FREEZE, LR BY 1:00". Edit: I also think we should advertise the changelog in the server. While I do get the notification on discord and see it on the forums A LOT of players online never see it.

  17. Considering a lot of other people get this issue I don't think I should have to update my Graphics card in order for this to happen (I have a GTX 970 and am upgrading in a few weeks anyway). This is also happens on TTT quite a bit.
  18. Given with the problems we have with CT's conflicting and arguing with each other I wouldn't be completely opposed to a warden plugin. As many people have said, only ONE person would be giving orders but that wouldn't be entirely the case. On a lot of servers some wardens give the other ct's the round sometimes, but then will step in when necessary. I also love the idea of having an application for warden, so only trusted regulars are using it properly. If no one is online who is capable to be warden, then it's regular CT's rule per usual. If there are multiple CT's online with warden then I don't know what exactly would happen there but we could figure it out. Before implementing this we should probably have a community meeting so we can get everyone to participate and voice their opinions because this would be a drastic change.
  19. I'm aware of what justifies a legitimate player complaint, and I ALWAYS let someone know what they're doing is wrong multiple times.

The main issue with this suggestion, while good intentioned, is that cells will be opened without any time for CT's to get prepared (And if they DO get somewhere they'll be in the center of cells and get mobbed my T's). It will start rounds faster, but at the cost of not giving the CT's any control. Typically if someone isn't properly using the first order when they receive it, and admin is swift to let them know what they're doing is wrong (It's obvious since they're the only one talking). Something else to add, you said that the person who takes FO goes the complete other side of the map of the orders. Me, and many other regulars who frequent using the first order do this and i'll tell you why. We're experienced, so when we pass the first 3 cells on a map like revamp it tells us many things. Isolation (if opened) lets me know if I need to scream "ALL T'S FREEZE" and tell my CT buddies to check out disco/kitchen, first cell, if the portal is broken or not, tells us if there's someone about to gun us down from pool, and by the time I arrive to third cell I can see if either no one comes out of it that there's a high chance of someone coming out from awp secret (Also once I get near VIP if I need to chase someone who ran into showers). Jailbreak, as we all know, is heavily T sided, so giving the t's the first minute of the round making CT's to take up their time and lives gunning down rebellers wont help.   21. I do think having it 4:00 was a bit rash of me, and I completely agree with you. The main reason I made this was because of the trolls I get so much on CT side that do this, especially on SummerJail. I wasn't aware I could make a player complaint on this, and I definitely will from now on.

This ignores the fact that people who are not liked, even though they enforce properly and have their fun too, are never going to be able to get the "lead CT" (or whatever) based on their social status. None the less the CT rank is a thing we probably have always needed, an incentive to play CT (the right way). We probably shouldn't introduce any mass votings for who gets what but some sort of algorithm that rewards a ct experience point based on something. Now this something could be the t's having the ability to give a CT a point, but have the needed amount of points to be high enough so it isn't just bullshit kinda like reputation on the forums.   23. A lot of times we're playing JB and it's about 12 CT's to 30 T's, in a situation like this we need to be accurate and prepared. The one issue is a CT with no care for enforcing opening the cells immediately at the start of the round, making the ct's vulnerable and the round is over fast. On some maps like Arcade this isn't a problem, but on summer jail or the RazoTrio the ct's HAVE TO go through the t cell area to get to enforceable locations. I can cite multiple times on summer where A ct opens the cells, and because the armory is behind the cell area we're swamped with t's halfway through and will either die or the t's will kill a large majority of us. I propose that on certain maps like summer jail, revamp, razor, VIP, and clouds we either move the cell button to somewhere where the ct's talk a while to walk (like on avalanche), have a delay on the cell button until 4:20 or 4:00, or make it like blackops where it opens automatically at 4:00 with no button.

  25. While I don't think constructing a diagram on ALL maps is necessary, we should probably try to enforce the understanding of what "past first cell/first cell" means. Countless times T's are told they have a "freeday no past first cell" on maps with very unclear first cell borders, or a map where first cell doesn't exist (Spy Vs. Spy, Moonjail, Arizona, etc.). Most regulars know the only maps with a clear first cell are the revamp/razor/vip trio, we just need to make sure people properly know that.
