I understand the Christmas maps weren't the best maps, but it was Christmas Gungame so we stuck with them best we could. Bread told me he's got a new maplist and everything ready to continue Gungame without the Christmas so hopefully people will still play it.

Whenever I play with Angel I don't even notice she's on the server. Not sure what you guys are seeing as attention whore unless you're specifically paying attention to them to begin with.

An idea to make rounds last longer if that's an issue is require more than one kill with each weapon. Two kills would double the time it takes to get to 25.

Inclined to agree with Beagle. Round based would give an advantage to those players who are higher skilled than others, having it DM makes it a bit more fair to those who are not as "skilled" at aiming to still get kills and level up.

Spawn protection increased to 5 seconds from 3 seconds to try and alleviate the hardcore spawn camping that keeps occurring.

We were having a problem where mapvote wouldn't finish before someone won. (If they win fast) To try and help resolve this, I reduced the countdown time to 5 seconds from 15 seconds, and you only have 10 seconds to pick a map. Hopefully no one will get a nade+a knife in 15 seconds. Please let me know here if it should be slower.

A large majority of people want to apply when they only really know one or two Admins closely. This is a major issue that should probably be addressed in some way. I have recommended a few people that I felt were good for Admin, only to find out that they had no contact with pretty much any other Admin other than myself. They felt since they had my recommendation they were good to go which isn't the case. You should honestly be able to get over 5 recommendations easily if you are expected to get Admin. That's 5 guaranteed people that will say you'd make a good Admin so I don't know why you wouldn't try and get as many recommendations as you can. If you are struggling to get more than 2-3 recommendations, you should probably get to know more Admins or ask how to improve. One thing that used to help people get noticed was an active Ventrilo, which we will be working on ways to get it populated again. This way people can join and start chatting up Admins or what have you and get noticed a bit better. People need to recognize that since it's a community vote, you need to find a way to get noticed without being a nuisance. This is ranging from doing Player Complaints, actively being in Vent even if no one is there when you join, playing in a variety of servers, or just adding Admins you see and reporting anyone breaking the rules to them. If you slip by everyday going fairly unnoticed, I don't know why you would expect to get Admin. If no one knows you, no one can say whether or not you'd make a good Admin. No one is going to be given a blind chance with Admin here, unlike other communities, our Admins are given several powers that normally in some other communities you need to earn through ranks to get.

I would have to say by majority the answer is that it won't be made a rule at this time.

In addition to process changes like how you receive Admin, we will be making some minor aesthetic changes as well. Such examples can be seen in RiverBoat's signature, where it has been implemented for the past two weeks.

Caution and BoM both have a point. Here is mine: I played PB when it first was put up, back when we had two servers and Grimm was still an Admin. What your saying makes no sense because back then we didn't even DO lr's, we hardly ever did shot for shot or knife fight a ct or any of that back when it was put up. We just gave orders and told people to go places and T's always tried to rebel. As a matter of fact, Death games were absolutely not even allowed back when we put the server up. Admins punished for death games and LR is, in a way, considered a death game. So, in actuality, no it wasn't ever a rule because that choice was hardly offered to anyone. LR's was a thing other servers did because they had plugins for it while ours did not, so we didn't do LR's until the current population of PB made it the thing every CT offers nowadays. Caution, being the person in charge of PB, also stating it's never been a rule should be enough of an answer to you that it's not going to happen. Bom is correct in that you should not be ignoring the other opinions in this thread, because they matter just as much as yours does. The majority is against this, and does not mind the one minute wait if it means we don't just start killing the last T soon as there's only one left and they don't want to do a death game.

My only question would be why you are friends with someone, but are unwilling to tell them if you think they would be a good Admin or not? I mean I guess I understand not everyone can be mean, but honesty should be part of any friendship. In the end, you could always just not have a say on it if you wanted.

Instead of replacing the members who are leaving, I am planning on just going to lower the amount required, keep same team sizes, and still host the tournament for the cash prize. I understand several of you have other things that are hampering your ability to play, and I am sorry for that. However, to those still winning to play, you will get the full rewards with less competition I guess.

This seems just like what Gametracker does so far? The UI is cleaner, nicer to look at, but still is pretty much the same thing minus all the graphs etc. You should probably add the Banning side of it before asking for major feedback. Going with this, tbh. Tired of the wait, I have other things to do, and SG needs more than a 5v5 tourny right now. Octa and BananaJoe please send me messages if you are both still interested in helping run this tournament. My plan is to give this over to Octa/BJ to get started, during which I'm going to focus on other things. They will get teams organized, Caution and I will lay out the maps to be played which weeks, and Octa/BJ will handle reminding teams/setting up team schedules as they come in. Caution and I will overall be in charge, handle Lo3's, any issues that arise, and so on, will be handled by us, but organization can be done by Octa/BJ. Caution, I hope you don't have a problem with this, I simply do not have the time, and I know you are very busy as of late as well.

This is false and can be easily proven wrong. Pointless argument based on little to no facts. Story would imply describing what he's done in the past to make up for his incredibly ability to break THE SAME RULE over and over just 9ish months earlier. People do not change overnight, and even in 9 months. He fucked up the same rule REPEATEDLY without giving a fuck (clearly). I hold no respect for those who held no respect for our rules. Explain to me why we should just let anyone who applies after a year back on the hopes and dreams they have changed, the logic of that is incredibly stupid. Multiple bans for the EXACT. SAME. REASON. are multiple CHANCES to learn not to do them. The fact they are not PERMED is their "forgiveness" you are expecting from us. We judge people based on bans when it is a ridiculous amount over what we usually permit players to have, because it shows an extreme intolerance for paying attention to our rules if they manage to continually break them. Obvious a player coming back after 4 years would be handled differently than one from 6 months. 4 years is time to change, a year is not really that long, and the chances of being changed are slim. This has been proven multiple times in the past where we unban players after a year and they do something in the next MONTH to fuck it up. Humans simply do not change as drastically as your implying they do. Do we turn players away without getting to know them fully? Yes, because we simply do not have time to get to know every person who wants to be unbanned and then take more time to make sure they aren't just putting up a front to get unbanned. Instead, we expect players who have been permed to convince us why they should be unbanned by making a sympathetic apology or explanation for their actions, as I instructed Jack to do in that post you quoted me on. Turns out he didn't really have much to say in his defense other than "Unban me and you'll see if I've changed or not" which simply isn't a good reason to unban someone who repeatedly, over the limit, broke our rules. The SAME rule at that. You clearly have a childish way of looking at the world where you believe people can change overnight and that 1 year is a superduper long time, it simply isn't true.
