Except for the fact that we have new IPs specifically for CS:S Scrim and CS:GO Scrim. And the fact the server is already being made.

In retrospect, I just realized the bad timing of making this thread today. Caution, Revenga, and I were talking about cancelling surf the other day and agreed that it would be best at this point. Late at night when I made the thread, didn't think about it becoming April first after midnight.

Hello everyone, We waited a very long time for a Surf server to be built, as of today it would be roughly a year and a half we've been "working on a surf server". We announced three months ago that a Surf server would be coming by the end of the month, but due to unfortunate events it just hasn't happened. With Pan stepping down and R3TRO being swamped with other TA/TTT work + School work, all work on surf has seemingly hit a wall. Surf has had a long standing issue with population when it comes to SG. Our members are always hyped to play it, then it dies out very quickly (See Surf RPG and all of its variations we tried to keep it alive). There are also many other communities that have beaten us to it with fully populated servers that we frankly would not be able to compete with as it is. All of these factors have led the BDs to make the decision to cancel the creation of the surf server. We're very sorry to our members for the constant promises of a surf server to end up cancelling it in the end, but we hope you trust we know what we're doing and a bigger surprise is in store for you instead. We hope you continue playing in our current servers and look forward to the CS:S Scrim server, CS:GO Scrim server, and the Monthly Get Together server that was teased at the community meeting which will all be coming soon™! Thank you all for your dedicated support to the mother fucking community!

For right now what I've done is given you credits equal to how many you have available right now + the credits you spent on the items you have. I will be removing the items from your current account soon, and raffle points will have to wait until tomorrow when I can talk to Paul.

I will work on this and see what we can get done for you. Give us a few days.

We can transfer everything but your stats. The store/raffle points and items would be more complex but not impossible. Your stats on the leaderboards of PB would not transfer. Personally if the stats are what is more important, I would suggest just keep playing on your alt and make it your new main account. Personally I don't think it would be worth the hassle of having us transfer everything if the stats on PB/servers are most important to you since it shows your achievement.

Hello Everyone! It's that time again where we announce some exciting promotions and we're also announcing that there will be no raffle this month unfortunately. However, there will be a much bigger raffle prizepool for next month! On to the promotions! Our Community Advisers do a lot of work for SG, they are Server Admins that have proven to go above and beyond monitoring the servers for rule breakers, looking to always do more for our community. They attend bi-weekly meetings with the rest of higher up staff to go over ideas and changes that will affect the entire community, giving their input and feedback to us higher ups. They handle player complaints to further prevent rule breakers from affecting our servers, even when no Admins are present. Lastly, they also help monitor our forums as they did our servers, deleting spam and other posts that aren't necessary. It's no small step-up from SA, but a big one, and the following Admins will be joining our CA ranks: Stunningjam and arottenpickle! In addition to these two promotions, we're doing one more special promotion. Not many people get promoted to the rank of Technical Administrator, but those that are smart enough (or fat enough) will sometimes fit more at home in the backend of server code and downloading ram. Joining this rank will be our very own R3TROATTACK, who has in the past few months proven to be very adept at learning how to code plugins and maintain servers through technical expertise. He will be assisting the AOs the best he can and helping maintain every server as he has TTT. This does not mean he will be stepping away from his current servers, as we'll be making sure they're in good hands before he takes on his TA duties fully. Please join me in welcoming these guys to their new ranks, and congratulating them on the progress they've made so far within our community! Congrats to all three and hope you do us proud!

I set it back so they can be poked. It was always set that way so that people could get in touch with AOs and let them know if servers are down, etc. If there's specific people that are being a problem in regards to poke, I would rather see their ability to poke be removed individually rather than someone making it so no one can poke AOs. I don't know who changed it so they can't be poked, but please do not do it again.
