this thing has no necessary use outside of VERY controlled scientific research. A dot from the laser can be seen as far as 45 miles away. You can fucking blind the pilot of an airplane if you wished. You could take this to a football stadium and point it at any part of the bleachers and blind or cause permanent damage to THOUSANDS in a few seconds. From quite a large distance, even the reflection of this bastard off of an entirely matte wall can blind you quite quickly, causing irreversible damage in milliseconds. Its quite disturbing that it's even remotely legal to sell these to consumers.
