  1. depends what kind of hacks you mean. If you mean the barely noticeable ones, like slight corrections to their aim or light wall hacks, yes, they do it to feel pro and amazing. If you mean people that go through pubs with rage hacks (spinning 360s constantly picking off 1 hit hs from across the map with a deagle while speedhacking etc), then its because its gloriously fun, and tbh, one of the most enjoyable forms of trolling. People get so fuckin mad, or like start crying openly over the mic. I don't hack anymore, but I used to use hacks on throw away accounts.. hacks so powerful you'd swear they shouldnt be able to be made. My personal favorite was being able to change my name at will to be completely indiscernible from another player at the press of a button. I would play these very annoying sound clips over HLSS while rage hacking and laugh as the admins would frantically ban everyone else on the server. I also had access to nearly unlimited throwaway accounts back then, so I would just come right back to some servers less than a minute after they banned me, if they ever managed to.
  2. ram is highly unlikely to cease functioning because of temperatures.. just about everything else in the computer would start malfunctioning long beforehand. RAM is just that way. It's either good or its faulty. It's all capacitors up in that bitch, so some of them could fail to hold a charge, or gradually degrade over time.
  3. Power supplies

    THATS WHAT SHE SAID
  4. its most assuredly the RAM. 0x....8E or 4E errors/complaining about memory management /nonpaged faults are due to faulty sticks. You don't even need memtest tbh. Just take out the stick that is in currently, and put in the other one. I bet you it doesn't boot again. Most of the time when you get BSODs that often, the ram will fail a test within minutes.
  5. Power supplies

yes they get very hot. but they don't affect the ambient of the case nearly at all. Like, they designed the card to run at 90C under load, but the card doesn't like shove that 90C into the rest of the case.
  6. Power supplies

thats why i love my PSU it has a single rail that can push ~62 amps
  7. HTC Evo 4G

i'll give you that.. the forums look pretty fucking incredible on that screen... er would if it wasn't covered in your hand grease.
  8. HTC Evo 4G

    lol, fagt.
  9. holy fuck i miss greenbastard and raven
  10. RAM

what the FUCK are you talking about? I have yet to run into anything unsupported 64bit wise, drivers or whatever. Also, I'd like a list of ANY game you've deluded yourself into thinking isn't supported by windows 7. If its playable on vista, its playable on 7, hands down. If its playable on XP, its almost for damn sure playable on 7.
  11. RAM

probably nothing you will come across needs anything more than 4 gigs yet, and the difference between 3 and 4 unless you're multitasking like nobodies' business, is nill.
  12. 1 = 2

i already made a mention of it all manipulating zero. i was proving it was incorrect beyond the division, because it still is. yes, you can divide both sides by a, but there's no point. if 2a =1a, then just subtract the a from the RHS.
  13. 1 = 2

Jesus christ where the fuck do i start? (ignoring your stupid ass a2 and b2 (which i had to decipher to mean a^2 and b^2 before it even kind of made some glint of sense) basically, your stupid ass "proved" what we've known for centuries. any number multiplied by 0, is in fact 0. also, if you go to a REAL school, a D IS failing. yeah, you get "credit", but a D is a 69 or less, and you pretty much have to take the class again.
  14. heh heh. Foiled again, the evil Huwa was

  15. Rooted Droid

when you put it in F it sounds alot warmer. There's a reason (beyond the vast majority of the planet using it) that C is used for electronics. It's because most electrical components can be ran up to ~120C or so. Don't get me wrong, something in your pocket should be designed to not run very hot, but ~45C isn't all that hot. Unless its to where the back of your phone feels more than slightly warm, there's nothing to worry about. My guess is you OC'd your droid and are now using an app that tells you the temp of the processor. ~45C is more than acceptable for a processor, so don't worry.
  16. Steam Problems

did you try deleting the groups? over 300 groups definitely sounds like it could be an issue. if that doesnt work, right click and "delete local content" of EVERY game you have in steam, uninstall steam, restart, delete c:\program files\steam (if its still there), and then reinstall.
  17. oh right, i forget that one. an i7 860, that i got off of ebay brand new around christmas anticipating this build
  18. it was a total joke, was just showing what i built . and no, i missed nothing, because i already have 3 hard drives, a dvd burner.
  19. bah, don't worry about it TNT, just go with my build : http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=18019507
  20. True, if you're tryin to save money, don't get the 750 watt I got it's incredible, but also incredibly expensive
  21. I'll try to later. All attempts have failed bc it's so huge
  22. Computer's so huge I havent had time to put it in a more suitable location yet, and its too heavy so i cba to move it much to take pics.. so sorry for awkward angles etc. Let me just start with saying, this is the best fucking case i've ever used. I'm so glad I went with this. The sliding mobo tray is amazing.. not having to worry about stuff being in the way when you're installing the cpu/ram/graphics card etc. Also, The HDD cage is wonderful, i've never had one that could just slide out, normally you have to pull back towards the graphics card and its a pain to get out. It also came with a big bag of zip ties and mounts, so I spent longer planning and doing cable management than I did actually putting the parts etc. together. But I'm rather satisfied with the end product, how clean it looks and how few wires can be seen. I've since taken off the doors/wings, haven't decided if i'll put them back on or not. This gigantic fan makes it a pain in the ass to try to take pics with the side panel on. Incredibly cheesy insignia. The above and below pictures show the only cables that can be seen My apologies for the stock HSF . My old AC7Pro crapped out on me (was a pain in the ass to mount, and it was giving me temps @ idle of 50C that never stopped rising.) I'm going to change it out with a TRUE Ultra-120 at some point when I want to OC in the future, but to be honest, the CPU doesn't even reach 40% load while playing a game. I'll never, ever use a non-modular PSU again. This was so wonderful, not having extra cables to hide. It also seems that modular PSUs tend to have longer cables so you don't have to worry about if they can reach all the way around behind the mobo tray.
  23. Steam Problems

    have you tried deleting clientregistry.blob?
  24. I take it back. After finally playing some rather graphics-taxing games for hours yesterday, i can tell that these cards run so hot they're designed to run at 90C lol, its quite ridiculous. If i ever hope to OC this thing, im going to have to shell out the cash for a spitfire from thermalright or something.
