goddamit =( major server changing votes like this should only be voted on by admins and regs. NO NEWFAGS! I have not spent the past year and a half making pb maps for this bullshit! The sever is right now as is, the BEST pb server around. Please please dont fuck this up. I would sooner slash my wrist than be shot in the face for lack of trivia knowledge. Also the games where one t gets to chose other ts to die sounds like complete bullshit to me, its obviously very open to abuse and i can already see the raging from ppl who keep getting picked on by thier own teammates. Worst idea ever. Death games kill the mod for me. If I wanted to be shot for lack of jeopardy knowledge, Ill just go to one of the many hard gay pb servers that play death games. I prefer the current method where ppl who want to play them can and those who dont are not forced to. its lit IJ sayz The ONLY thing that needs changed on pb is the way cts give orders, If you really want to change somthing, try requiring the cts to move the ts around more then once a round. pb is a roleplaying game, deathgames are not. This server has always stood out to me as the best pb server. Death games would make it completely unplayable =(

bright orange jump suits make it way to easy to check ts for guns, other skins look good though. T skins should go back to the old t style, seeing as how the medic skins dont really make any sense.

Finally i am ready to release a beta. There are a few glitches but nothing game breaking(a few missing custom textures and models) So i really need to get this tested out game play wise so i can start work on a final. Map features: +Security system that can tell the cts what parts of the map have ppl in them. +Vents have a security feature that when activated floods them with an invisible gas that kills anything that happens to be in there. + C days or cleaning days where one half of the prison closes off and the other side opens. +working arcade +working high/low card game +church with last request alter +working sweat shop style prison factory +disco, knife fight pit, soccer, weight room, and more! As you can see, a few key features are there to help cts keep track of the ts, as well as prevent the last ct or t from camping the round out. In fact camping in general should be a little bit harder on this level, and vent campers will be running the risk of getting gassed, be they t or ct. If anything there needs to be a rule that states "if the ct team is in full control of the ts (that means a head count shows none are missing) then they should NOT be able to keep the entire t team in one spot for more than 2min, at a time. There have been way, to many rounds of just sitting in the big cage or hanging out in the pool, ones not much better than the other. If the ct team is not filled with short bus retards, then once the entire t team is in there, its impossible to rebel unless one of the ts has a gun and they get really lucky. Also i feel that this would really add to the rp element of pb, as no prison makes its prisoners sit in one tiny 20x10 box all day long. My goal as a ct was always to try and lead the ts to at least 3 different spots on the map. This not only gives the ts more chances to rebe,l but also results in more fun had by all, and helps to keep rounds interesting.

If there is no admin on this is what you should do: 1. Tell them to shut up 2. Record 3. Call an admin 4. Post a player complaint neos quote ^ Um i think hes saying that if ppl are always talking over your orders, you can order them to stfu for a sec so you can give orders. its not really mic or rule breaking, they are just trying to blah blah blah over you orders. I think theres nothing wrong with giving a 5 sec silence order, and in some cases i would never be able to give commands at the start of a round with out giving that order for silence first 1st. What im saying is if you say cts cant order the ts to be silent long enough to give orders, then you leave alot of room open for foul play, like say all the ts decide to speak over their least favorite ct. This would break the game very quickly.(and thats exactly what ppl have tried on me b4 i told em to stfu and listen.) I think there is nothing wrong with shooting for talking over your orders, so long as you warn them b4 hand to stfu for a sec, and allow them to talk after your orders have been given. Its an order and the rules are pretty open ended as to what giving an order can mean. In an actual prison, im sure they have "quiet time" every now and then, and while in an actual prison they may not enforce quiet time with a bullet they will beat your ass, and since you cant do that on css i recommend shooting them a lil till they stop.

never hurts to have a hard wired ethernet connection. wireless sucks for games most of the time, and anything wireless can be transmited faster through ethernet, so i would try that. Like they said, there are many ppl over seas playing on our servers, so you can prlly get a better connection one way or another.

Yeah ppl bitch, so what? It means nothing. They bitch for 3 reasons, either they dont know the rules, didnt read/hear commands, or they are just trying to piss you off. None of this is the cts fault, and most bitching just needs to be ignored. If they cannot produce a demo that shows you breaking the rules, then why should you care? If someone is a "freekiller" they will no doubt give you plenty of chances to demo them breaking the rules. If you are a straight player, you should have nothing to fear. The only time its really a problem is at the start of a round when they try to drown out orders, but if it gets real bad I just tell them to stfu till the orders have been given, or be shot. O sure, 1 or 2 ppl says "you cant do that" or some stupid crap like that. So i tell em yes i can, its an order follow it or die(the rules say comply or die!). At wich point they comply, always. I have Never had to shoot anyone for talking over orders(in cells at least), so i think a 20 sec mute script is not really needed, just bigger balls on the cts at times. Mute script would not really hurt anything though. also 90% of the time when i shoot someone to warn them for not following orders they scream "freeshot" and demand to heal, this and many other tactics are just designed to piss off the cts and slow them way down. Its like jazzy says, most bitching is just trying to get under the cts skin, not to mention delay them while another t stabs you in the back. Dont fall for it, if they dont start to move in the direction they are sopposed to go, shoot em. Any game that works on the honor system alone is gonna have some bitching involved, but its more than worth it for a game this good. The only other thing even close is crazy bobs, and if you really wanna see some bitching and fun grey areas in the rule book try playing that shit sometime.

Seeing as how i only stopped playing pb in order to make new maps for it, i still consider myself a player, i just dont have the time to ply right now. I am familar enough with this game type by now to know that of corse this will change gameplay and make things harder. I am less then 2 weeks away from finishing a bad ass pb map for you guys. plz dont drastically change pb b4 i return. Just bcuz i have not been on in a while does not mean i dont know pb. i do not need to play the server with its current settings, to know that this changes gameplay and makes things harder on the cts. Ct was always hard in the past nothing has changed about that. You say ppl who dont play right now should not vote, well i say ppl who play t most of the time should be holding their votes. THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO WAY THAT THIS MOD DOES ANYTHING OTHER THAN MAKE THINGS HARDER AND MORE CHAOTIC FOR CTS. Fun for the ts, shitty for the cts. Leaving this mod on WILL result in the cts being a bunch of hard asses and in the end less fun will be had by all. Also to me, rp is fun. and thats y i play pb instead of vanilla cs, for the rp asspects. This games is 5x the fun when the cts are effectivly rping, and actually tring to act like prison guards, instead of just leaving ppl in the big cage, and head shotting ppl who even think of disobeying them. and with this new mod, im sure you will being seeing more of that crap, as if there wasnt enough already.... and one more thing, this mod was out b4 i started my break from pb, and thats one of the many reasons i played at sg pb. because they did NOT have it. If i wanted to play jihad, i would just play on one of the many other pb servers that have it. and one more thing. I have almost never seen the pb server empty. Its almost always full, or only has a slot or 2 open. It never needed any major changes to restore popularity, it was already so.

omg all of that shit, why do you ppl keep voting yes??? heres an idea, because 80% you play t and dont know the true plight of being a ct. You certainly dont know how to be a good ct, or none of this bs would have come up in the first place. ppl who play t 90% of the time should not be voting here. You have no idea how much harder and more stressful this could make it for the cts. I think the only way this mod could be fair, is if it was accepted that any t who gets within bomb range of a ct can be shot down. and no QQing about freekills. It doesnt matter if they have the bomb or not, with this mod on, I will not allow any ts within 20 feet of me. and wether that goes in the motd or not that will be my personal order while on the server, "stay the fuck back!" So this mod could just wind up making it harder on the ts in the end.

question: is the bomb and physical bomb that you plant or can see, like a cs bomb? If there was a bomb point on the map could you plant it there? one of the pb maps im working on has a bombing objective, and that could potentially cause some problems for the map.....

That sounds shitty, Im really sorry I left. Back when i played i was one of the few cts that bothered to give good orders, i can only imagine how bad it is now. But i have no mic right now, and i didnt want to come back until i finished my pb map. Im getting really close now, but it looks like pb is shaping up to be completely different by the time of my return:frown:
