The people who already paid to keep it in SG? Do we cut servers? If so, you just bought a community, and killed it because while you had enough to own it, you didn't have enough to support it. I have no problem at all with Amit. What you seem to be misunderstanding is it STILL IS WITHIN SG (of sorts). While we won't own it, we will do most of the decisions. Our administration is still staying in place, and as I, and Amit/Charles have said before, they won't do anything to hurt SG (if it would upset YOU GUYS, the players, they CAN'T do it, because then they lose you, and lose their investment). You have to think everything through. And I mean (I would be willing to bet my bottom button it wouldn't happen but suppose it did) if Amit does ruin SG, we can rebuild among ourselves if we want.. Yes this is a hypothetical thread, but before trying to fix something, wait to see if it's broken (give them a chance). They have tools to help us make SG better, and have no value to gain by changing us or what we stand for.

Like all of you, all the AO+ were VERY skeptical at the start. We asked every question you guys did and more (mind you you haven't asked all that many surprisingly). I'm going to say this because I don't see any harm in it. Things will be reorganized. But nothing will change for the worse (unless you find a very nice vb4 layout to be for the worse). He is not introducing his own staff or anything, the only staff changes (unless plans have changed) will be reorganization of ranks. And as he said, what does he gain for buying then ruining a community? Nothing. It will still be the same community, just hopefully a little better. No most certainly not.

I've only found one way to do it and I GUESS I'll share it with you lol. Func_buttons don't have an option to be passable, func_movelinears, brushes, physboxes, and doors all lose their ability to "use" when they become non-solid to world. The only way I've found, is to texture your func_button with npc_clip and it should work. It won't clip them because it's set up to only clip npc's not players, but it will still be registered by "use". Hope this helps.
