Yeah it's quite a fun mod BUT, bots take up a lottt of resources so IDK if it will happen. But it is quite fun.

VIP Escape hands down. Nothing has or will ever compare. Was so sad to see it go. Actually when the server got removed I think is when I finally registered on the forums. Or maybe I registered on the forums before, but I remember I came to rant about VIP escape being removed. That was the absolute best thing in the world. Especially since it was always full of the same regulars.

How could this ever be useful for anyone with a job/going to school? Lol.

That one was an old one lol. I remember you doing better than that, so then I tried a few more times at beat it, then you beat mine. I forget who ended up ahead , but it was only by like 1 or 2 wpm I think.

Right click your sound icon in the tray, go to preferences, then I think it might be advanced or something, and there should be something like "Do what when a program is running?" (Or something) and there should be a "Reduce sound by 80%, Reduce sound by 50%, Do nothing" something something something. Choose "Do nothing." I run Skype through my iPod (app) always, but I had this issue in CSS, whenever CSS ran it reduced all other noise by 80% and drove me crazy. If that doesn't fix it, it should be a sound option in Skype itself. Sorry for the bad directions, I'm going purely off memory as I can't boot into windows at all... -.- So I might have missed a step, or the titles might not be right, but right click your sound icon and just navigate through there for a while and you should find it. (This was for win7 for me).

Do what Matt said if you feel your dad would be more understanding. He can help smooth it over with your mom. And there's a good chance your mom was joking, or at least not seriously going to kick you out, but being stable on your own when telling her wouldn't hurt. But if you trust your dad, talk to him and ask him how he thinks your mom would handle it. Also if she says she wouldn't accept you if you were gay, you could get in her face and say she's gay (act serious), and if she backs down and is like "I had no idea, I was just kidding" and feels bad then you're good to go and just tell her actually you're bi. If she honestly threatens to kick you out, and that you better be screwing with her just say you were kidding, but it's pretty assholeish of her that she wouldn't accept you if you were gay (just to get an idea of how she would actually handle it).

I didn't really think anything of it, until he said para-diddle-diddle. Then I realized who it was lol. I used to watch his rock band drum videos (hence para-diddle-diddles) and he made arcade videos too. Hadn't seen any of his videos in a while. That made me lol though. Looks like a good game.

I've been working on the railroad All the live-long day. It's a pretty decent summer job. Considering it's a career for quite a few people, having it as a summer job is pretty sick. I'm making a little over 20 an hour, plus expenses. And considering I commute around 130 km a day, and claim 180, with meal allowances, I'm banking (profiting) close to 400 every 2 weeks on top of my pay (which I get in the full 80 hours every 2 weeks). It's physical labour, and some days it sucks like when you're out on the track for the full block, but like today, (because of massive flooding down south washing away the track, all the trains are getting routed up through our subdivision, so we couldn't get on the track at all) I just sat in the rail lifter all day, alternating between napping, reading, and talking to people, but damn it was hot -.- Plus it's easy to move up to being a machine operator, and if you have your bus license, you can bid driving the bus, which auto puts you at group 1 which pays close to 30 I think. It's possible (although not everyone does/can) to get group 1 their first season out on the track.

I followed Jon Lajoie for a long time (When he mostly did commercials) and honestly, I know it got him the most famous, but show me your genitals was the worst thing he did. Not that it wasn't funny, but since he has just started doing the EXACT same thing over and over. He just sings bad lyrics, to an off rythm, while looking stupid. And it got old after the first time I saw it. The fact that all of his videos are that and nothing more makes him not funny at all anymore IMO.

Man I was jonesing to In Waves. Such a catchy chorus. But yeah I see where you're coming from, very repetitive. I couldn't listen to this song before going to work or I'd have it stuck in my head all day haha. Dusk Dismantled is good, but... I'm really excited for this new album. Going to be so good.

I am introducing a long needed rank*: Forum Moderators. *It's not a separate rank, they will still be the same rank they held before (either Server Administrator, or Retired Staff), but they will have the added power to help keep the forums clean. They will be able to delete, edit, close and move threads/posts. Hopefully this will lighten the load on AOs so they can focus more on servers and complaints/appeals. So congrats to: Nishok MPQC Havok PotshotPolka Mystique Lux Thor All of which, in some form or another, have shown to be more than capable of handling these duties, and have a good idea of how the forums are run. We hope this is enough people to keep the forums clean as a group, without it feeling like a chore to our moderators. I guess this means no more posting stupid things thinking you can get away with it because we are too lazy to deal with it. So congrats to the new forum moderators. Hopefully they can live up to the legacy of previous forum moderators, such as the great Allan who taught us the key principle to a well moderated forum: edit, lock and delete every thread you don't like; ban those who get in your way.
