I'll be rewriting it and fixing their database issues and rewriting their software that uses the various databases. They are also releasing an Android tablet with the software on it, so I'll be working on that as well. But, I'm not a ginger. Surprisingly, I don't think he even noticed them. He was more impressed with my background (game development, programming, network administration, etc). I'm glad I got them because it gave me something to do, and I also want to get more, even if they aren't for my field. We'll see. I have my take my student loans out of deferment and continue paying them. This job came at the right time, too, because my savings are almost gone. I have about $1,500 left, which would probably last another month or so.

I think they have a simple IRA with 3% matching of my 6%. I don't plan on leaving the company since the owner is pretty much a bad ass and the company is doing things that I'll really love.

Good news, everyone! After 4 months of unemployment, I found a job. I left a decently paying job to move back home with my fiance (been away from her for 2 years). I knew it would take a while to find a job and during my search I was able to get 3 certificates. Network+, Security+ and CCNA. I'm excited to start working on Monday and I'm actually looking forward to it. I understand why old people want to work at Wal-Mart as a greeter or something, it's quite boring being home all day. Studying for certificates, gaming, TV shows, web surfing, sleeping in, and taking up a full-time job of looking for a job get old after a while.

This is why people find you annoying.

Here's a serious question: How will the community play a role in the decision of new mods/games? Before, it was basically the higher-ups making the calls and taking down some of our beloved mods (DR/Napalm) with little to no notice. I know things are changing since Garfield took the helm, but I'm curious what role the community will have in choosing games and mods we support.

The problem with us branching out to new games is that most of the community won't have it, resulting in an unpopulated server after a few weeks. People aren't going to want to plop down $50+ for a new game every few months. I would like us to branch out to other games, I just think it'd be difficult. Hopefully, Ngo can use his marketing magic to keep our servers populated.

Get an app for your phone that can keep track of calories. It's that simple. Stop eating fried foods and sugar and you'll be fine. If your phone doesn't support apps like that, then get a new phone. There are many free ones for the Android platform.

We know nothing about Garfield other than he's British, speaks with a (mostly) unintelligible accent, bought SG, and enjoys the color pink.

I have no issue with cracking jokes at others' expense, I just don't want the backlash for it. I'm very witty and sarcastic in real life and I have to hold my tongue 99% of the time so I don't insult people when they offer up the opportunity. I tend to take things too far and I know I'll catch some shit if I participated in a roast.

I'm always in a bad mood. Can't roast the females because either it'd be all 'sammich' jokes or be exceedingly sexist and piss them off. Can't roast any AO+ in fear of pissing them off and getting on their bad side. Can't roast an SA- because it's just not funny and no one would care. Can't roast Haggard because he wouldn't show up. This just won't work. Sorry to burst your bubble, but no one here is going to be a good sport about it. We don't know each other personally (not enough of us, at least) and we don't know much about the person outside of SG, so the content pool is rather small. Also, anyone that joined in 2009 or so, probably wouldn't get most of the jokes. Sorry for being a realist.
