I work IT for over 80 medical offices in Maryland/Virginia. My responsibilities include: Troubleshoot computer issues over the phone. Research and develop new technologies. Create programs to assist in automation. Manage MySQL, MSSQL, and MSDE databases. Working with Australians on a WAN backup solution. Currently the 'last resort' for technical issues. Maintain and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls. Over 500 computers are my responsibility. I work from 7:30am to 5-6pm. Going to ask my boss if I can work from home at the start of next year, as I'm not truly needed in the office. I've been here for over a year and have extensive PHP, C/C++, MySQL skills.

I had a dream that my phone's alarm clock went off at 1am. I tried to change it but the feature was missing. I was pissed because I usually get up at 6am to get ready for work. A few minutes later, I think, my alarm went off at 6am and I was happy again. Then I realized I have to work and was sad.
