  16. Interesting? Totally. Terrifying? Most definitely.
  17. Dude, wtf is that thing?
  18. I'm scared of critters that can pierce your skin and suck blood (except I'm not scared of mosquitos.) I REALLY hate spiders. I hate needles when I'm getting shots, but I can watch other people / give other people shots no problem. I have an unhealthy fear of clowns. To Hazardous -- you're scared of milk?? To Silent -- LMAO! That must have been terrifying. Care to elaborate?
  19. Happy Birthday dude!
  20. I hear that Slavic. In regards to the Christian bible (and the Jewish for that matter), there is tons of stuff about barbaric things like stoning people, etc. That doesn't mean you should do it, its was different times back then, and things have changed. People know that's not a cool thing to do these days.
  21. He's right. You will all burn....uh-oh...
  22. Dude. Bose's block sound like it's their job. And in fact it is their job. I have a pair and I love them. Bose for righteous victory!
  23. In regards to the US aiding Israel -- The Palestinian people and the Israelis have been fighting damn near forever. Whether it be over land, religion or most commonly both, it's always something. Most Muslims sympathize with the Palestinians, and support their claim to the land. I think it was in 1948 when Israel become it's own entity, and many subsequent wars were fought. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about Israel and I think they're cool cats, but when the US helps them with things, the opposition views us as 'the devil' too. Guilty by association, one could say. Shitty yes, but it happens. I don't see how you can say that oil plays no role in the problem we're having today. Before oil became huge, the people in the middle east had no money or power. Once they got that oil they became wealthier and more powerful. I'm not saying that the money we pay for oil goes directly to aiding terrorism, but indirectly it does. If the bad guys have no contributions from their buddies with money, they cannot fund or plan out attacks. If the people were "educated" so to speak on what's right and wrong (granted you could say they do think some things right that we know are wrong...but hopefully you get my point), then it would help out a ton. I do think you brought up valid points though, Bronc. Well written post. If only everyone could just be chill together...maybe play some video games. I dunno.
  24. Ideally it is a religion of peace. It is also the most practiced religion on the world I believe. The problem isn't with Islam itself, but occurs with people so fanatically believe in it that they are willing to blow themselves up for their god. Honestly, if I TRULY believed that God wanted me to go around killing people, I'd do it. And don't tell yourself that you wouldn't! There are hundreds of millions of Muslims who aren't psychotic and who don't want to jihad. It's just a very small percentage of the extremists. It all makes sense if you combine religious fanaticism, and the events that have led up to this current point in time -- Mainly back in the 60's thru 80's when the US was bolstering the newly created Israeli state (a country formed out of land that used to belong to the Palestinians), tons of shit was going down. Israel was asserting itself as a dominate force in the Middle East, pretty much rolling over everyone no problem. The US supplied them with weapons, intelligence etc. Now think about this: A lot of the people who died when Israel whooped ass left behind kids. Other kids were around to see and hear the about 'The Evil US/Israel.' A generation later these kids are grown and their really pissed off. Religion Extremism + Pissed off people = A bad time. I personally believe none of this shit would be going down to the extent that it is if the 1970's hadn't fucked up during the energy crisis. They had the opportunity to make plans and set goals for getting rid of oil dependency, use, etc. We probably wouldn't be hearing as much about global warming today if we had stopped using as much oil then (Sweet Lord I would love not to hear that stuff anymore, its getting annoying), and we surely wouldn't be having many terrorism issues. They wouldn't have the money to do any of it. But yeah, don't stereotype the religion of Islam as a bunch of nutjobs that want to kill everyone. Granted, yes, some of them are and do want to kill everyone but they are in the extreme minority.
  25. I'd go as far as to say 'Tru-che'
