I should have clarified I needed a luggable (17 inchs is a bit silly) computer, and it was either going to be the laptop I bought, or I was going to have to borrow an ibook G4, which was never going to happen.. I hate macs.

Actually my laptop (the one missing the screen), was a 17 incher. I bought it because best buy was out of the 14 inch toshiba I wanted, and it was the only laptop in my price range that was comparably speced, they were both on sale. Before you judge me on going to best buy my old Dell Celeron single core had passed away and I needed to have a working computer.

Look he was on my friends list and I don't think that he should get unbanned, at least not yet, there is proof of him hacking so he got a well deserved ban. Why would anyone think he changed in a week? Give it at least six months before trying to convince people to give him another chance, and even then he might just have to deal with the consequences of his actions.

Yeah I mainly hook it up to my telly to stream movies and such as well as using it as my dedicated download machine. I did get another laptop after this one broke, but I gave it to my sister when I bought my desktop so its just me and my 900mhz netbook for portable computing. Oh yeah I'm probably going to get a used dell laptop soon

Damn I'm good! anyway here's my laptop.... it did have a screen at one point... infact I think I could put another on if I ever wanted, but I use my netbook mostly now anyway. For specs its an Turion64 x2 1.5 gb of ram 160 gb hard drive dvd burner, vista home premium 64-bit oh and a nvidia 6150 go se gpu, its a beast I know

meh... I don't see the point of this laptop unless you're a roving CGI animator... or homeless I suppose but then you have more important things to worry about.

Its alright, nothing special. I do hope that Valve won't release anymore updates that make it like TF2. The one problem that I have with it is that Valve didn't make patched clients compatible with unpatched servers. That would have been peachy if they did.

Knowing the answers to these questions could help identify the problem. 1) are you playing on a wireless connection? 2) Anything running in the background? 3) Do you have some kind of anti-virus type software? 4) Have you changed anything hardware related recently?

So I did some looking on newegg can't find exactly what you're looking for, but I do have a few more questions. 1) Are you going to have a cable box or something? Because you'll need some sort of tuner to actually watch TV. 2) Is your 360 one of the ones with a HDMI output? So that you could buy a cable and bring down the number of different connectors?

How bad can it be... My current rig: P4 HT 2.8 Ghz 2gb DDR RAM 80 gb IDE Hard drive 8X DVD-ROM ATI Radeon X1300 PRO (PRO means it has 256 mb of video ram bitch) Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 450 watt PSU At any rate even with the 7300 you'll be able to play all of those games mostly...

I can't get very many servers to show up in my server list, it takes like five minutes and generally caps out at around 35, I used to get around 2000. Also none of servers on my favorites list show up on this list but I can connect to them anyway. Any ideas of what I can do to resolve this issue?

I would recommend doing a virus scan and making sure you computer hasn't started running something in the background. Also, what exactly are the specs of your computer?
