I am looking for a laptop/ultrabook that I can bring to school and perform small tasks on. (Really hate bringing my beefy HP laptop.. that also sucks the battery dry in abour 1.5 hours) Tasks I will be doing: VirtualBox/VMWare Linux install (Labs for college class) Microsoft Office Typical Internet browsing Hooking up to routers/switches.(Will require an Ethernet port) Things I am looking for: -13-15 inch screen -Decent battery life -Atleast 8GB RAM -Intel i5 or better -Network port Things that are not important: -Do not need dedicated graphics -Any HDD/SSD (I have my old Samsung 840 SSD I can throw in) Price: Cheaper the better, but I am not really sure yet. Never really looked at these types of laptops before
