Lets see you forgot to capitalize the "u" in "use". Your first sentence is a fragment. The "n" in "no" isn't captizalized. The dashmark is not needed. The "i" in "I'd" isn't capitalized. PUGs are scrims played by random players who joined said server to play a scrim rather then cordinate teams playing against each other. You've also just implied that I could make a 64 slot server title it "Competitive Pub" and its the same thing as a 10 slot PuG server. You didn't capitalize the "i" in "i" as well as all the letters in "suggestion" are capitalized when they should be lower case. After that the "i" in "i" isn't capitalized when it should be. Then, the "i" in "i" once again is lower cased when it should be capitzalized. The "t" in "the" should be capitalized and they aren't. Again, the "i" in "i" isn't capitalized. The phrase "atm" is just random letters you put together and no idea what it means. You used "too" in the wrong way, what should have been used was "to". And once again you demonstrate your own ignorance. Sourceinvite is a COMPETITIVE PUB. There are competitive pubs that are popular but they are not pugs. Learn to read a bit better at the title of the server. Also, when you have nothing better to say but to correct someone's grammar and insult their intelligence because they use slang on the INTERNET, just shows how stupid you are. I as well as Mick have seen the Pug Server go up, down, die out, fill up, and were around when SGSL started and died as were other people posting here. Those who weren't play in the server consistently. You however, don't have the patience to wait when you do join and have only actually been in maybe 1-2. That's where your wrong. You'd think everyone wants a public PuG server. However there are several servers out there that does it and are empty 24/7. If you want proof check out MPPS. They host public PuG servers that are empty all day everyday. On a side note its hard to find the CAL.cfg anymore because its old as fuck. ZBLOCK is an ACS as it will find your client side mistakes (r_drawothermodels 2) Other than that you can't expect SG to go make a deal with a programmer to make an ACS because let's face it. ESEA and SG are 2 completely different communities. ESEA has their ACS because people WILL download it so that they can play in the league and in the pug servers. SG doesn't offer anything near that and never will so a player who wants to join it and can't because it says "Go download our ACS on www.steam-gamers.net", will not do it. Maybe a few will but the general population isn't gonna waste their time downloading an ACS for 1 scrim server. And the reg is terrible. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know how to tell the difference from GOOD reg to BAD reg. A server that is just for fun between us friends here in SG is different then making it public to people who want to come and have a serious pug. Also, if you want to get real about it and have an actual PuG public server that would mean admin mod needs to be disabled no SxE just zblock the cfgs and a .ready system. A REAL pug/scrim server doesn't have stuff like SxE or admin in it. EDIT: To mick: WIZARD DOUWN EDIT AGAIN: Sorry I saw some more retardation going on. As you aren't talking about Reg CSS its because its not a traditional 5v5 match up like you want. But if you've only played in the server a handful of times you can't really comment on anything or suggest a massive change like that. Maybe youll get a few randoms but for the most part your not gonna join and 5 minutes later theres gonnna be people lining to come into SG's public PuG server. If you honestly think that. When an AO retires, theres already 2-3 more that are experienced and show the newbie the ropes. Now unless every single BD/AO/P/VP retires at the same exact time there is no need for this because you will never have a whole staff that has no idea how to do their job.

I plan on buying the ram already. Thats why I need the mobo/cpu/video card. I have a PSU that will support everything and is good and if need be I can even stick my current ram in there until I get the new ram. But the CPU/Mobo/Video card are the three things I need to turn on the machine and be able to run it by putting my current ram in there.

I've thought about it and what I would really like is the GTX 570 and an AMD Six Core processor and a mobo that can hold the 8 gb of memory. That is all I am caring about at the moment. Everything else could be bought later but I need the MOBO/CPU/Video Card to be able to turn on and run the computer. And if necessary the lesser model of GTX 560 TI. Does anybody know what difference between the performance of the two?

I'm going to be using this computer for gaming. I mean like anything that could come out in 2-3 years I'd be able to run just fine without upgrading anything. Chaoz, a few questions. Whats bad about the GTX 550 TI that seperates it from the GTX 560? Idk what u mean by "but seeing as the Llano CPU's (socket FM1) are out you should get that 1 as it's a bit like the Sandy Bridge but from AMD." Is the new FM1 socket better then the six core? If I could get a cheap Quad-Core that has at least 3.5 ghz I'd be happy to cut the cost there as well seeing as almost nothing iscalling for a full out quad core yet. EDIT: With this big video card and obviously a lot of bigger sized hardware and a lot of heat should I got for a full sized tower rather then a mid sized?

Thanks a bunch man. After reviewing everything, I've seen some places that I can cut costs. My current PSU is relatively new and its 680 watt which is better then the one that is listed in there. So thats a good 60$ I can save. I have a corprate copy of Windows 7 so thats 100$ right off the list there. Thanks a lot for the help. One question though, the CPU/Mobo is a package right? That's why its 300$ lol?

I'm gonna build my first ever rig I just don't know what to get and what works together :3 I need help getting a new rig together. My budget is pretty low though 500-800$. Preferably AMD Six-Core cpu and one of the newer NVIDIA GTX 5 series video cards. The motherboard should be able to support the AMD six core and a psu that can support the video card and everything else. Since my budget is low I'm gonna get a top notch video card and cpu and mobo. But the HDD should be 100-200 GB as I don't use a lot of space. I know what I want I just don't know what the hardware would be called etc. Memory isn't a must but would like to have DDR3 and 3-4 GB of it. I already got the tower so that's out of the way. My grandfather is a veteran of World War 2 and he is always telling me all these awful war stories about children hes witnessed murdered and how horrible it is to be in a place like that. The worst part is that he couldn't do anything about it because he was drafted into the army. I'm proud of my grandfather for being strong enough to come back after all this stuff had happened. I'm grateful that I'm even alive because had he died I wouldn't be here as he was drafted when he was just 16. I give thanks to all those who put everything on the line for people who are disgusted with them and people who love them. These men do what every american should do. Well when they say "old school" i think what they mean is like maps we had on the server back in 07 not necessarily maps made a long time ago. But I'm sure if it's good they would put it on.
