  1. NFL Week 12

They had Roethlisberger on the sideline as well as Polamalu. Their defense is nowhere near as good without Polamalu and Roethlisberger gets the job done with the offense. The Steelers are a defensive team, so if your defense isn't close to 100%, don't count on the offense to score more than they usually do, especially if the franchise QB isn't playing. They almost won with a good effort by the young backup QB, but the big mistake by him caused the loss. With Polamalu, they are dangerous; without him, they are pedestrian. His absence hurts them more than Roethlisberger's.
  2. Make a Sammich

According to The Matrix, there is no spoon, yet we perceive the spoon. Therefore, since there is no meat, cheese, or bread, we could still perceive all the required components of a "sammich". There may not be any definite meat, cheese, or bread, but damnit, if I think I'm eating a "sammich" with meat, cheese, and bread and I'm tasting the "sammich" with meat, cheese, and bread, it's a good enough "sammich" in my book!
  3. You all look like piss. Let's all come together to make a nasty video starring R. Kelly and the chicks from 2 girls 1 cup.
  4. "baiting"...I guess you should just stop playing, because whenever you play on an SG server, you are obviously baiting someone : /

  5. lol, that ruling on your complaint is complete bullshit.

  6. He was banned before that... Why don't people understand this?
  7. NFL Week 12

You can watch the games online. NFL Network games are streamed on NFL.com or you could find a TV streaming site.
  8. MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. NFL Week 11

After losing the first two games, it seems that have lost a bit of confidence in themselves. Losing Orton to an injury in Washington didn't help and it still is a problem as Denver either has a shitty backup playing or a ginger Orton playing. The offense doesn't have enough explosiveness to escape a game playing sloppy and Denver has been VERY sloppy the past weeks. You could usually rely on every player to at least bring a consistent game every Sunday, but mistakes have piled on with the Orton injury and killed the team. The defense is running out of juice because it is composed of mainly heavily seasoned veterans. Some are getting bruised up while others are simply getting exhausted after the strong run earlier in the season and playing great teams. And to further add onto Denver's mounting problems, there are reports of in-fighting. When you have players jarring at each other instead of the other team, you know it can't end well, especially if the style of play of the team to this point has been a consistent group effort. Simply put, the shit is hitting the fan for Denver. I didn't even think it would hit this hard, but the Orton injury just sent things crashing down.
  11. You mean the old school system for HG?
  12. NFL Week 11

It was nasty, but I'll take it. Hopefully this will convince Snyder/Cerrato and some of the more ill informed fans that Campbell isn't the problem.
  13. We've tried this before and it died rather quickly. Good luck to ya though.
  14. Can we have Neg rep back pl0x?
  15. NFL Week 10

They were beating each other up until the refs fucked up the game towards the end.It was 3-0 Packers until the 3rd or 4th quarter when the refs just screwed up some major calls. One of them would have been overturned, but it was a play that the NFL deems unreviewable. It also seemed to be a noobish ref crew as they almost gave the Packers a 3rd challenge and took forever on some obvious penalties for both sides. Without the refs fucking up, at worst it would have been 10-7 Packers.
  16. If you look at it from a player's POV, would you rather have an admin who has been here for a few months messing with things or some new guy who just got his admin tag? The regular players would at least be more comfortable with the seasoned admin. Some of our admins and officers lack common sense at times. Having an official rule somewhere would just make instances of admin abuse easier to adjudicate as there would be a definite ruling somewhere rather than people having differing opinions on what they think is right or wrong.
  17. I never said anything along those lines, or at least wasn't my intention. In your example, it depends who was in the server and if it was just between higher ups/admins that were in on it. In Avro's instance, his action affected everybody on the opposite team and caused them to lose not only because he abused his admin powers, but because he used them to get an unfair advantage over the CTs (i.e. getting in the shuttle and stabbing them). Did Daze and Beth use their abilities against other players who were not in on it? Higher ups do get away with stuff and I have made myself clear that they should keep a better grip on their actions, but your example doesn't relate to Avro's case where it matters the most. Did anybody bring up the instances against Daze and Beth? It seems to matter more if people complain or don't complain at the time. Even one complaint shows that at least one person was so against the action, they took the time to make a complaint. You can bet others felt the same way, but didn't feel like making a complaint. If that is the case, then it is a bigger problem than if everybody was cool with the manipulation by the admin. The game can be played without any shenanigans from the admins and still be fun. I would prefer if we didn't need any policy on it, but it has been shown that some admins cannot make the right call when to mess around or not. You could be real nitpicky as to who could be allowed to do so, but you still might have some poor judgment calls. Maybe if any admin who has been here beyond a certain amount of time could provide some "enhancement" to the round or few rounds after a very decisive vote. Admins who have been here longer would hopefully know better, they would need to get permission from the players to do so, and they shouldn't be allowed to manipulate the game for over like 2 or more rounds in a row (or something like that). At the very least, somebody needs to inform the admins and officers explicitly what is and is not allowed when it comes to manipulating the game.
  18. Convince Raven to join in and you'd have yourself a full server.
  19. I think he got off of the hook more not only because he was a higher up, but because he quickly apologized about what he had done and said he wouldn't do it again. People could easily vouch for him that it was a rare occurrence. Your actions have not been the same as his, so I think that goes just as equally as far as you not being an officer. I can say that if an officer had done what you did to the entire winning side, they would have been punished. If it was against one person that they knew, then no punishment would be given. You need to understand that your punishment is justified regardless of any double standard that was present in the past. Just about everyone who has posted supports the punishment. It isn't even a real punishment as it is only one strike. Hell, I got a strike back in the day for changing a map vote after the entire server minus one or two people wanted a re-do because the question popped up when the CTs were under siege. It definitely sucked, but it never came back up to bite me in the ass as I didn't abuse my powers to affect gameplay unless some jackass deserved it on Breakfloor. If you don't break any huge rules for a while, the strike really just goes away. Choose your battles more wisely in the future and if you want to focus on something that is actually attainable, make a new thread with the priority of favoritism in the community as opposed to YOUR strike. If nobody is willing to side with you on that up to this point, then you should drop it as it isn't likely someone will.
  20. Some people just want a simple, legit game without any shenanigans by the admin. Maybe there should be more lax times of the day or special events where admins don't have to be as restrictive when it comes to certain rules. A permanent policy of allowing admins to change rules to have fun won't work because you'd have conflicting actions by the admins if more than one are present and the group of people who just want a normal game. Should get a general consensus as to what the community wants from its admins, then if any changes are to be implemented, figure out how to regulate admins being able to modify certain things.
  21. Make a new thread Promote fun, but follow the rules at the same time. If you cannot follow the rules or want to change one, speak to the higher ups about it beforehand or quit being an admin. It's as simple as that.
  22. Yes, but it is only one strike and not the end of the world. You could have easily NOT knifed anyone in the shuttle and avoided all of this.
  23. Yes there is a bit of a different scale of punishment or regulation between the higher ups and regular admins, but you still changed the outcome of the round with your actions. Your claim at trying to have fun doesn't hide the fact that your actions changed the outcome, so it is a moot point. Things need to be handled better for the higher ups, but that is a different topic for another day. I don't know much about how you usually act in the servers, but if enough people told me that this wasn't the first time you've misused your admin abilities in such a manner, I would give you a strike. If not, you would at least get a very stern warning.
  24. NFL Week 10

They would have had better field position for their defense and would have changed the momentum if need be. Defense is helped by offense.
  25. Valve thinks it's "hilarious" according to any blog that has news of this.
