I completely agree with that. Just saying for future reference I would suggest that you still just make sure you aren't freekilling. There is a difference between crossfire and freekilling. If you are trying to kill the person and you kill the other walking in front that is one thing but if you just blatantly open fire on all around that is freekilling and you can't claim crossfire.

If you have ever played Escape when a block map comes on you will see what hunter is talking about. The entire round people bitch about it, but when noblock is on people don't complain, just those that wish that block was on but they still play. Those that play noblock then go play block they bitch the entire time and cry rtv because they are being blocked.

Unlike others, my advice is to try and kill the person behind first. The only time this is difficult really is with a shotgun. You can usually kill the guy behind easily and maybe get a shot on the person being a shield. I do not recommend you just open fire because in some cases those people are purposely being shields. Take solitary for example, some people are very close together and it wouldn't be fair to kill someone even though it may be crossfire. So do not spray and "open fire" I would say. The best idea would be to try and take that person out first and avoid the meatshield.

I agree with this year. I mean I think they will make a bowl game just not a big bowl game. They will have some rebuilding to do that is for sure. It's a good thing I was never a huge Ohio State football fan, I am more of an NFL guy.

Couldn't agree more really. I mean it is silly to think that any BCS school doesn't cheat one way or another. The others just don't get caught. Bringing in these big time recruits just usually doesn't happen, there are some incentives to bring them there. It happens all the time so I am not sure why people are making a huge deal out of just Ohio State breaking rules. Most likely probably has to do with them being "clean" up to this point. Overall, I do think Ohio State will bounce back in the upcoming years and to be honest the people of Ohio had always criticized Tressell and his conservative play and it was more apparent these last few years with Pryor. I can tell you that not too many people are upset that Pryor is leaving, he really was pretty overrated. We may not have anyone better right now but Pryor really wasn't that good. Just give it a couple years and OSU will be back to where they usually are.

The only problem being that Miami will take it. I realize that the Mavs won on the road once before but I just don't see them taking the next 2 out of 3, especially when 2 of them are in Miami. Obviously this next game is huge for the Mavs, if they lose this game they will lose the series. But anyways, GO MAVS!

Eh, I am not too upset. -Cavs have the 1st pick, 4th pick, and 8th pick. -Peyton Hillis on the cover of Madden 12 -Indians out on a good start. So really it has been an up and down year. The Browns are picking it up big time along with the Indians (even though they have hit a rough patch but still a good young team). The Cavs will get helped out majorly with the 3 picks, and Tressell has been taking heat the last few years anyway. It will be good to see what happens to Ohio State and how they handle their current situation.

While that is nice and I do like your stance, there are two threads barely below this both labeled "Jihad." Quick two seconds of searching could have helped. Helping out is nice it just can be annoying when people have to answer the same question over and over when searching would come up with the results much faster.

I agree. I will do anything but join the bandwagon, sorry. Also, you need to give some credit to the Mavs for the comeback because that is what they have been doing this postseason. They had a nice comeback against the Lakers as well. Unfortunately, this series is far from over and the Heat are a pretty good road team as they have shown in the playoffs. But hopefully the Mavs will be pumped up enough from their road win to seal the deal. One thing remains clear though, Dirk is a beast.

I guess we don't have any NBA fans around here. I was surprised to see no NBA threads being created. I guess I will have to create this then. Series is currently tied 1-1 with the next 3 games being played in Dallas. We will see if the Heat can take one (which I think they will) but if the Mavs play like they should at home then they may walk away with this series.

I have started liking baseball more in the past few years. Baseball is probably the hardest sport to enjoy just because it is so slow and then you have the major markets constantly winning because of their ability to spend massive amounts of money on players. Overall, I would say that the NFL is probably the best professional league even though they are currently under a lockout but they will get it worked out even if they do miss a game or two. They will get it worked out, they are working more towards completing it now than they were before.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Maybe it's because on play on the prison break server but the only times that they don't take action on that server is if they don't actually see the rule breaking themselves.

The only problem with that is you have to be friends with that person and if that person doesn't accept/doesn't see the request then you could be having to wait longer. PMing is another way to go though. I don't think this would be bad but just isn't really needed.

Well I know in the Prison Break server if you are AFK for a certain amount of time you will be moved to spectator. As for the other servers I thought it was the same as well but maybe I am mistaken. Votekick I suppose wouldn't be too bad but still the amount of abuse being used on that would be exponentially high.

This would get abused so bad. That is the main reason why it is not on the server. I think the only way to actually have it on the server is if you get like a 90% vote saying to ban the person. But even then I feel like it would be abused. Admins are usually on and I rarely play when an admin isn't on. If you are having troubles with players either demo them or add admins to your friends list so you can message them if you need them. That is the easiest way. I don't think adding votekick or voteban would be a very good idea seeing as the maturity in the servers is pretty low at times.

Which is why you create a Map Suggestion found here: Map Suggestions/Removals and then what happens is that people can vote on the map. If they like it then it will be added and if they don't then it won't be. Simple as that. So if you do see maps you are interested in go ahead and make a map suggestion and have others give their opinions.

This also hasn't been added for the reason that LRs are strictly optional even on the CT end. If a T picks an LR it forces that CT to play the game as well even if they don't want to.

I would say all of the maps used on jailbreak are found here: GameBanana: Counter-Strike: Source (Maps > Counter-Strike: Source) try searching for all the maps and see if you can come up with the right ones. I don't think I personally have seen people post map suggestions from another site. If these don't work then I am sure I could potentially compile a file for you.

You did an awesome job turning this place around from what seemed a mess not too long ago. You will be missed! Good luck with everything you do in life!

Also, don't forget noblock also removes the ability to stack on top of teammates in hopes of trying to reach a higher spot.
