It is a dick move and normally I wouldn't because not only do I rarely play CT but there was also a ton of rebelling going on in the previous rounds and I felt like some sort of order needed to be restored. I didn't go on a killing rampage but I simply gave the orders and it was pretty blatant that they were rebelling. This seems to be one of the areas that causes controversy. The player and I never really settled the situation as we were both arguing our points.

I was playing awhile back and ran into a little controversy on the rules that was never settled. I ordered all the T's to go to the cage or something like that crouching or they would be killed. Now the rules state that if you uncrouch you get a warning shot but they also say if it is an obvious disorder that they may be killed. While I did not kill anyone just simply uncrouching I killed those that ran the entire way to the cage. So I am wondering what is the actual ruling on something like this?

I would have to agree with this only because some T's will spam their mics like crazy and just shout freeday for the first minute.

He doesn't know which guard to put on him because we have the worst guards in the NBA. The Big 3 is done in my opinion. Where has Paul Pierce been? KG is still good but not as good as he used to be as his numbers have dropped each year with the Celtics, and Allen is streaky. When Allen shoots well he plays well but his game is based off of his three point shooting. His numbers have also dropped since last series against the Heat. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that the Celtics suck or the "Big 3" is garbage but they aren't as good as they were two years ago. The Cavs guards are horrible. They have just one guard which is Mo Williams, in the top 62 players of the post season if FG%. He is ranked at 49th, below guys not even playing right now. I am pretty sure that all the Celtic starters are in the top 62 plus some not sure I would have to look into it. How is it hilarious that it is so true that the Cavs guards are horrible. Look at Rondo's regular season numbers, first round numbers, and quarter final numbers. All of his numbers have risen each of those. He averaged 13 PPG during the season and now has 21 PPG against the Cavs. So you are telling me that in the stretch between last series (a few weeks ago) and now he has improved by 7 PPG from the previous series with the Heat? He became Bird over a couple weeks? Don't blame that on Brown, he can't go out their and guard him. LeBron claims he is going to guard him tonight. If LeBron doesn't stop him then I will consider him a great player and that we just don't have anyone to guard him. Duhoh - Why do you think that he won't be the second greatest if not the greatest? LeBron isn't even in his prime in my opinion. He already has two MVPs and has been the youngest to reach 20,000 points and has so many other awards. I don't think that Championships is something that you should take into consideration when thinking of the best players ever since that is a team achievement.

He picked up his dribble as he was progressing, he gathered (but didn't stop), jumped off one foot, and clearly landed on two which is in the rulebook for the 2009-2010 season. I mean the only time I saw anyone stopped during that play is when the creator of that video froze the picture. If you watch it in regular speed i clearly do not see him travel anywhere. Of course the opposing team is going to want the call blown the other way for them. What opposing team in any sport doesn't want calls to go their way? Reggie Miller may say that it was a travel but that doesn't make it one. Rondo turned into Bird when he is the entire team and has the worst guards in the NBA guarding him....

No not this year but the NBA would rig it so that the Knicks and Lakers would make it to the finals every single year. I don't really understand that video there. Are they trying to say that what LeBron did was a travel because you can do that. You may jump off one foot and as long as you land on two you are ok. It's not an "up and down" it is a jump stop, you can even do that in high school basketball as well.

Refs are never perfect and I have seen games where the Cavs have got all the calls and where they couldn't get a call. I hate when people say that the NBA is rigged just because it clearly isn't. The great thing about replay is that you can see where fouls are committed and where they aren't. In some cases their is a lot of flopping going on and at times I think that being an NBA ref would be extremely hard. At times I think that the refs can be biased but at the same time I know that they aren't just because if that were true then the finals would be New York and LA every year so the NBA could make a ton of money. Everyone wanted a Cavs vs Lakers final last year but that didn't happen. I mean calls can influence a game but bad reffing calls cannot change the game from a win to a lose unless the bad calls are so obvious and one sided.

Since common sense isn't a rule i don't think that you can warning shot them.

I enjoy the NCAA just as much as the NBA. The NBA does change like every other professional sport but it takes a few years. Their are only so many guys on a team so really the teams remain to have the same starters on their rosters. Baseball is a lot worse then the NBA though. If the Yankees or Red Sox don't make it then it's like the world is ending for baseball. If both teams don't make it then it would be the end of baseball as we know it.

Ok I hear everyone saying the same thing about being stupid and using common sense. Let's say their is a new player on the server and you said to go the big cage and he/she does but stands outside, you guys are all saying that they should use their common sense to just somehow KNOW that to means inside? I understand the common sense thing but is it really THAT much harder to say "Go inside the big cage" instead of saying "go to big cage". So if you don't say "don't detour or delay" and you shoot someone for delaying and you just say "use your common sense, do what your teammates are doing" then that is ok? I mean everyone knows not to detour or delay it's common sense.

Yes, I agree I hate being a CT and seeing T's following your EXACT words like if you don't say one thing they take advantage of it. The thing is that in this situation is that they said that the CT says TO THE BIG CAGE that is different then using common sense I think. People say INSIDE BIG CAGE and ON TOP OF BIG CAGE why should it be assumed that TO BIG CAGE means go inside? I have seen CT's that let the T's go either inside or on top on their choices before, just as long as they are at the cage. So personally I don't think that TO BIG CAGE should be assumed go inside of it.

The Ravens are going to be really good this year. I personally expect a lot from them this year if they don't go far in the playoffs this will be a terrible season for them.

Not really I mean their is so much going on now. The Oklahoma City Thunder have made a huge run and have become a great team over the last year. Next year will be the year to watch because this summers off season is supposed to be huge with all the allstars being on the market. I personally don't think that many of the all-stars will leave their current teams but it still will be nice to watch. Being from Cleveland I hope that LeBron stays and if he leaves I will be very upset but that is just the business. If he does leave I hope we pick up one of the other all-stars available.

Well this is a game I mean for T's to win this game you want to take advantage of everything that you can. If T's just used common sense then this game would be so boring because everyone would just follow orders and T's would never rebel. That is why people try to find loopholes. For the second part it is not considered a freekill if you killed them with a deagle while giving a warning shot. Just make sure that you let them know because otherwise they will start going crazy when the next round begins.

No doubt and I said when it is all said and done. I don't consider him the best right now by no means. I still think that MJ is the best ever and Kobe the next best but LeBron is right up there with those guys I mean if he added rings he would be considered with Michael. He has basically achieved so many things at such a young age. I mean he still has probably another like 12 years under his belt at least (if he doesn't suffer some kind of intense injuries) and still so much more to accomplish and records to break. Everyone has their opinion on LBJ, Jordan, and Kobe and I think that they are all great players and I am not sure how you can really decide who is better. I think that it would be so much better if MJ was like 30 or so and playing with Kobe and LeBron right now.

I am not. He has won 2 MVPs and he is only 25. They said it on ESPN yesterday that he is the best player in the league right now no doubt. I agree also that I don't want to see the Lakers win again.

I was surprised seeing no NBA playoffs thread in here. So...I thought that I would start one. Going along with this I thought that I would add that LeBron won his second straight MVP this last week and that is pretty awesome. I personally think that LeBron will be the next greatest player in the NBA if not the greatest past Jordan when it is all said and done. Anyways back to the playoffs a lot of great series so far. Cleveland is leading Boston 1-0, LA Lakers are leading 1-0, San Antonio and Phoenix square it off tonight, and Atlanta and Orlando start tomorrow in what I think will be a great series.

Minnesota did the right thing because Cleveland drafted him. McCoy is also in love with Cleveland right now he said that it is the perfect fit for him.

I like the rule change but I would suggest that you are not allowed to kill AFKs until their is about 3 minutes left in the round. Usually cells open around 4 minutes and this would give it enough time to determine which T's are AFK.

I am just saying. If the common sense thing were true, PB would have less idiots but common sense is a non-factor so he cannot use common sense when there is no common sense.

I have the same problem. I was told that you have to log off and log back in to steam for it to work again. Mine does this occasionally and I hate it.
