As you can see, we have changed around a lot of the rank names and we also remade the rank bars to work better with the new forums. You'll be seeing the new rank bars all over the forums and the new rank names being used in place of the old ones. I know it might take a little getting used to, but a lot of thought was put into changing these names to be more accurate and uniform. Hey folks, The Marketing Team has been working hard recently to come up with new supporter ranks allowing us to...nah that's not true. This project started way back in December, before you guys even knew the Marketing Team existed. The reason we're even a team right now is because we managed to see a way to do this, a way to get to the bigger picture. A buncha dudes who owe nothing to this community sat in TS and thought of a new SG, a fresh and overhauled community that can keep up in 2020. We thought of new changes, we thought of ways to expand and grow, and we thought of you guys who always there to support us. Every change we make around here is to make it better for you guys, and these changes are no different. Sure, we want your money, but we also want you to see the great and awesome things you're supporting when you do. I know I'm supposed to be announcing the new ranks, but I just really wanted to thank you guys for supporting us all this time. All these big changes you see rolling out today are completely on you guys, we couldn't have gotten here without your support. This change, and many others, have had people working on them on and off for the entire year if not longer. It's not easy, but we do it because we care about you guys and know that you will keep supporting us as we make this place bigger and better. All these X570 boards have that stupid 4-pin power supply but it is pretty irrelevant, especially since you don't need to overclock AMD chips. I have an X570 Pro + 3900XT and I did not use the 4-pin power supply, no issues here. If you want like the "better safe than sorry" answer, you could snag a modular power supply for ~$100. Notable issues with the Asus X570-P from reviews and research, so I would avoid that one altogether. Besides that, the Gigabyte and MSI board have pretty much all the same bells and whistles. From looking, the MSI board seems to have better reviews and less potential issues than the Gigabyte board, but overall either one would be a good choice.

Hello sir, I'd be glad to answer some of these questions best I can. Okay, so this is obviously going to be a hard line to draw in the sand, especially when it comes to images. I'm sure you guys can understand that previously in TS any image sharing took place privately, whereas now it is a lot more public. Obviously some things are still being sorted, but for the sake of explanation, I'd say we're trying to land somewhere between PG-13 and R. **The next few sections you can apply to both images and text, as many people are simply using images with text on them which is the same thing for this argument.** The half-naked dudes telling me about the rules? kinda weird but okay. Some sort of sexual act or the direct implication of it? probably less okay. I'll break that down a little further by saying: you're not gonna in trouble for saying "I'm gonna fuck your mom" but you could get in trouble for saying . The closer you get to just spewing sexual verbiage publicly or posting overtly sexual images the closer we get to having to pull down the hammer. What you guys say verbally in a private channel or share elsewhere is on you guys, but if you leave the channel unlocked and start saying some weird-ass shit (especially with underage people around) and it makes someone uncomfortable then we're gonna start having problems. We need everyone to remember there are kids at least as young as 13 around and as much as others might be older and have a need to talk about all things sex, try and remember that you are sharing the environment with others who might not want to see all of that (and might put us in really bad situations if all we are doing is making sexual comments around them). Images were disabled in general because people were spamming images there, many of which teetered on or cross the line I just explained above. As for images being turned back on in #general, best I can say is TBD. New rules for discord have been written up and are just being run by all parties involved in decision making here prior to us posting them publicly. To give some insight, generally and on the racism rule, we're trying to keep things as close to TS while also adjusting to the different factors of Discord. Honestly, I joined the channel last night and looked at the game and I had no issue with it, but I wasn't there for the comments that were made. These comments were brought up by Greggy and several others in this thread, so clearly you guys might have been crossing the line. I'm gonna be frank here, I don't know why we have to deal with this at all. I don't know why this thread is a thing. It is incredibly difficult to exactly spell out what is and isn't okay since people keep managing to find new ways to try and skirt around the rules and guidelines. However, it is incredibly easy to just use your brain for half a second and decide not to be a troll every second that you're on discord. It sounds like in this case you guys were skirting around some inappropriate shit and were given viable solutions to avoid it being a problem, but instead, here we are in this thread. You shouldn't need every rule spelled out for you to contain yourself just a little bit. It's pretty simple: just be a decent human being. To those in this thread jumping to pedophilia and all this other crap: yeah let's just not go there. We like to try and keep forum discussions civil and on topic and you guys really jumped off the rails here pretty quick. To those who insist on trolling and pushing the line in discord: cut the shit. There will never be a rule for every little thing that someone can come up with to push the line, but hopefully, this gives you a good idea of what is and isn't okay.

With the charity stream coming up tomorrow we decided to introduce our newly revamped social media along with our future plans for it. The entire marketing team, as well as a multitude of people from other teams, have worked hard to really help revive our social media. Some final adjustments are being made and YouTube is still "under construction", but you can expect a lot more activity on all of these platforms from now on. Along with that, you'll notice that we also have a new logo which is a little more refined and fit to match some of our upcoming projects. Expect to be seeing it around more as we transition everything over to the new logo. I can't really explain how much work went in from start to finish with all of these projects along with all the things that will keep happening behind the scenes, but I am truly grateful. The mere existence of this team can be credited to a whole bunch of people in the community, both those who have come and gone and those who are still here.
