  1. George Carlin

The thing you fail to realize is that the comedians that you listed all idolized and patterned themselves after Carlin in one way or another.. He was definitely one of the best.
  2. Post Your Car!

I thought my truck was nice.. .. I concede.. you win.
  3. Congrats to all ... Well Deserved!
  4. This! Chances of me pulling my gun when I can talk my way out of a confrontation or walk away... = 0%
  5. I'm not sure.. My last name is German.. My mother's maiden name is German.. so chances are since I have never heard of any fleeing or persecution that the family towed the line during the whole thing.. but who knows.
  6. Yes.. but I drew it cooler
  7. Xbox Problem

I see hard drives in desktops & laptops fail weekly at work. It's not hard to believe that the drive could be faulty.. Hard drives are not anywhere near perfect. Just because it's in an xbox does not mean it cannot or will not fail.
  8. I think it would be fine. Hell I'd even do the whole book club thing where we pick a book.. Say.. "World War Z" everyone who's interested reads the book and then discuss/debate/etc.
  9. Hot shit

"Bitch won't bite no dick no mo" I had to laugh.. how do you find this stuff.
  10. I have to agree with Jaffa on this one.. I like Drac and he's fun to play with. That being said a vast majority of his posts are inflamatory. He's either flaming someone or baiting them to start flame wars. I hope that he pulls it together and is able to get back on the forums.. I just don't see it lasting.
  11. I wish I had that kind of spare time.. Sadly even if I did.. I doubt I could pull off some of those stunts.
  12. Cheer me up SG

Worst thing I have ever had to do was tell my 7 year old that his pet needed to be put down. It's rough.. You are doing the humane thing by not forcing the dog to suffer. I've seen a friend that couldn't let go force his dog to endure a few long agonizing months of pain.. it's not worth it. Keep the good memories and know you did what was best in the end.
  13. Your new avatar frightens me..

  14. Airsoft can join paintball guns and GTFO of this thread.. I play paintball but keep it out of the this thread.
  15. Keylin : I'm round and you put things in me. (playing hide & seek and trying to give hints.)
  16. Always in for a good laugh. Willing to play just for the fun and not just for the score.
  17. What can I say.. Red always speaks his mind. And is hella fun to game with. Like many others I went through a clan a week for a long time.. This is the first place I've stuck around. And it's because of the people here.
  18. I refuse to share my Zombie Plans with you... Just in case you are infected.. Sorry.
  19. You carry a concealed weapon for self defense or defense of the ones you love. If someone is coming at you and they keep coming what good did it do to shoot them. Concealing a .22 is useless. If you are attacked and shoot.. they may just kill you instead of you defending yourself.
  20. Anything more than a mouthful is a waste.
  21. I love my H&K. If you want a reliable hand-gun with stopping power I wouldn't recommend anything else. And thanks for cleaning up the thread Red.
  22. Can someone clean up this thread and delete all the irrelevant posts.
  23. There are tons of things to consider when selecting a concealed carry firearm.... Caliber - I like a good balance between size & stopping power. 9mm just doesn't have the stopping power to knock someone down and keep them down. I would recommend a .40 or .45, However the .45's are often bulky and heavy making them less than Ideal for concealment. Size/Weight - You need something compact and light or you will tire of carrying it around. My first conceal carry gun was too heavy and I ended up selling it and getting something lighter (not smaller caliber), just a more compact gun. Grip/Comfort - Make sure it feels good in your hands. Nothing is worse than trying to shoot a gun that you aren't comfortable with. Especially in a life or death situation. (not sure about where you are) but there are quite a few gun stores around here that let you rent and use their guns on the firing range to try them out. I highly recommend doing this.) Also most guns can have the grips swapped out to make them a more comfortable fit. Depending on the size of your hands. Now for the guns that I personally like. H&K USP Compact .40 or .45 (I have a .45 that is a great gun and not too heavy) http://www.hk-usa.com/uspc_general.asp Kimber Ultra Carry II - Kimber makes great guns.. they can be a bit spendy... http://www.kimberamerica.com/pistols/ultracarry/ Sturm Ruger P-Series - Although this gun leans towards the heavy side a bit.. they are less expensive.. and I have put about 10,000 rounds through mine at firing ranges, etc.. and have yet to have a jam or stove-pipe or any kind of failure and it remains to be very acurate. This is my current conceal carry firearm.. http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAFamily?type=Pistol&subtype=Centerfire%20Autoloading&famlst=2&variation=LCP™ I know that the guns I've listed aren't cheap.. but as with most things you get what you pay for.. and well I'd rather pay a bit more and have a gun that isn't going to jam or stove-pipe in a critical situation.
  24. This is the second "bots for hire" video I've watched and I have to say that neiter of them were good. It's time wasted that I can never get back..
  25. I wouldn't say that.. For a team that hasn't had a noteworthy performance in this level of competition in a sport that a large part of the population doesn't watch.. I'd say they held their own. 3-2 in the final against a team like Brasil where the national past-time is Futebol and they kids are practically born with a ball at their feet I don't think we did so bad at all. Plus I was torn as to who to root for. I wanted the US to win because I am a patriot and it would be nice for them to win something on the global scale. At the same time I've lived in Brasil, speak Portuguese, and wouldn't be surprised if I had an illegitimate child living somewhere in Brasil. So I consider it my second home country. Either way it was a good game.
