I have for work purchased/worked on/and re-imaged the following models. Acer Aspire One Dell Inspiron Mini9 Asus EEE PC 9-12" models. Of the netbooks that I've worked on I liked the Acer the most.. All of them have drawbacks.. they are all slow. The keyboards are way too small to type anything of any real length on unless you have the hands of a small girl. Acer's keyboard I liked the best due to location of the right shift key. The other models put the up arrow where the shift key should be causing all kinds of hell if you are using linux or unix command line. They are all comparable when it comes to speed and performance.. that is to say they are slow .. good for basic word-processing and browsing the web.. and that's about it.

Eragon was tripe.. I don't know what's wrong with kids these days.. but they read a hack job of a fantasy novel that pirates from every other fantasy writer and they suck it up like it's pure honey! The only reason it was published was because Mom & Dad were Editor/Publisher. /old man rant Honestly there are so many better fantasy novels than Eragon. As far as Fav Books are concerned.. there are sooo many.. As for my Favorite Historical Fiction... German Brothers in a Foreign Land - Itch Co-Author Yes I guess I'm a little biased... It was small publishing and is no longer available... but I enjoyed the research/writing. Vampire Novel: Sorry but the Twilight series is all build up and no real action.. They Thirst - Robert McCammon I could go on.. and if anyone wants to start a book club where we read/discuss I would definitely participate.

To be blunt.. Duke Nukem was over-rated! I found the games linear and repetitive and quite boring after a very short amount of game play. I played way more than I would have due to a co-worker that loved the game constantly pushing it.

Any time you apply a stereotype on any race/color you are being racist.. I used to and still do from time to time listen to a ton of underground music.. I find it much more appealing than mainstream music for the most part.. However when it comes to rap I like Eminem's work so therefore it must be because I'm white and don't listen to anything "underground" Your argument not only fails to make the point that you are trying to make but only proves my point even more.

I've used Trend Micro's Officescan for years.. and not had any problems on about 700 pc's.

To me this statement in itself is racist. If you assume that he likes him due to his color than you are judging based on race. Based on your last statement I am racist as well. I listen to quite a bit of Rap, and find that I prefer to listen to Eminem more than most others.. so therefore I'm racist because I'm white and he's white.. That has to be one of the stupidest assumptions I've seen in quite awhile.

Whilst I understand the idea of a thread letting people know of the name change.. Why would you ask that everyone post "OK" to let you know that they are aware.. isn't this just going to become another.. "hey I can boost my post count" kind of thread. Should have just made the announcement and then locked the thread.. or better yet.. not announced it and just left the D2W sig so that if people use common sense they can figure out the name change rather easily without the need for a thread full of post count whoring and eventually a flame war. Just my 2 cents

Did you stop to think that maybe the school has your best interest in mind here. They want you to have the resources you NEED for school work without the distractions of tEh Almighty InterWebZ. I would recommend that you further your education while you have time allocated to (instead of trying to make time later in life) that and stop dicking around at school. Of course when I was in school I did my best to do anything but school work. I got lucky and have a good career.. but still at times wish I'd spent less time trying to get around things and spent more time working with the system.

I see this all the time.. People who "Don't have a virus" on their computer. But their computer is part of a bot-net. Just because you don't notice anything or have any pop-up's or random shut-downs doesn't mean your computer is clean. I'd be willing to bet that if you were to install MalwareBytes anti-malware and run a scan it would find something on your machine. And/or if you were to monitor all network traffic to/from your computer you would find traffic that you had not initiated or intended.
