Yes the console is easier to prevent software piracy.. but look at systems like Steam.. yes you can still pirate.. but online registration prior to playing makes it alot harder.. Also Console developers if they want to sell huge amounts of a specific title have to develope for more than one of the major consoles and are still dealing with multiple sets of hardware.. not nearly as many configurations.. true.. but still deal with more than one platform.

I have too short an attention span for single player games.. but I did enjoy the multiplayer.. many a good time at lan parties.. It'll be interesting to see where they go with this one.. I'll end up checking it out for sure.

You should hear it.. It's impossible to describe.

Try playing CS at a lan party with no Internet connection. It just won't happen.. Steam screws it up for at least 50% of the people there. Sure you get portability of your games (as long as you have an internet connection) Like a majority of the posts under this thread it's a Love/Hate kinda thing.

My new truck.. you know .. the one I only rarely get a chance to drive. The fuel efficient Kia Rio that I have to drive to work 5 sometimes 6 days a week.
