    OK, I'm no doctor or dietitian but your weight is perfectly normal. The last thing you want to do is cut calories for the sake of losing more weight. Instead, change your diet to a healthier composition. What you want to do is gain some muscle, that is to say some strength workouts. (From the looks of your calander I see the word "Cardio" a lot, so I assume this is more for endurance. I suggest finding a workout with more strength training. But if there is regular strength training in that workout, you should be OK.) There is no magic formula to get fat to go away besides a healthier diet combined with regular exercise, but having more muscle will help keep fat away. In fact, it would be healthy for you to gain weight. Do NOT look at the scale for progress, it is rather poor when training strength and gaining muscle. Muscle weight much more than fat, and it contributes a lot to keeping in shape. And as Ms. Blargh said, YOU HAVE TO REST. Never work out the same group of muscles two days in a row. Ever. A leisurely jog on Sunday would probably be OK if you didn't do any training for your legs on Saturday. The main purpose of this is quite simply to let your body repair the damage you did over your exercise, and that's where you gain muscle. Rest is more important than you might think. And back to diet: don't skimp on eating. I would avoid any diets which are made for weight loss, or portrayed as such. Those aren't meant to be permanent, and it's my belief that any non-permanent diet is not worth trying. Instead, switch to a healthy diet you can maintain for the rest of your life. When choosing a diet, ask yourself "Is this something I can continue for the rest of my life?" If the answer is no, it's probably not a good diet. Also, breakfast is important! Never skip it. Make it the largest meal. Make it balanced. You know how cereal commercials always say "part of this complete breakfast" and show and entire smorgasbord? Think along those lines. Your body DID just sleep for 8 or so hours without eating, after all. Here is a quick article I found: Strength Training Diet. It lists some very good tips and good ways to get necessary protein, as part of your every day diet. (Read: No protein shakes or bars or anything of the sort.) I suggest staying away from red meat and not to go crazy on meat in general. Anyway, sorry for diverging from what you asked, but this is what I feel would be more appropriate. I'm 5'11'', and 175 lbs, and I wouldn't call myself anywhere near fat. (I would say I'd like to get in much better shape, but I like my weight.) Summary, don't have your goal be "lose weight", but instead, "gain muscle". I don't mean become a champion weight lifter and have biceps the size of Popeye's, but you'll find that you'll lose the fat, possibly gain some healthy weight, look and feel better and more energized, and most of all it will help keep fat away! And create a balanced diet you can live with for the rest of your life. If you can make a healthy, balanced diet a habit, then you'll be set. (See: Balanced diet.)

  5. I hate traveling, and I dislike very hot or cold days. But I love rain. I guess I'll stick with Chicago. On a side note, I'd never go to Australia. I went there twice to see family, and there's always some crazy shit happening on the news. Also, everything on the east coast is mountain, and the roads end up going in all kinds of directions. It's impossible to navigate early on. You need a map and/or someone who knows the area to get around.
  6. VAC bans are delayed. They could detect crap quickly but they don't actually ban the account for a while. (Could be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks I think.) Anyway, that explains why you were banned after not playing for a while. Mod and skins could have "viruses" which falsely trigger a VAC ban on your account. And I guess Harry's post is most likely, although rare.

  9. I have a G11, it's moar massive cousin. I love it, never had a problem (other than Vista and Win7 being a bitch with the G keys program., although I'd hardly blame Logitech for it). G15 all the way. You might even find the LCD screen very handy. My friend just uses it to look at what music is playing, but it can do so much more.

  11. You wish. That's a lie that a lot of (most) screen manufactures put out there, which uses some queer system to measure contrast. They compare the darkest black that their screen can attain (which would be when the backlight is OFF and black screen), to the brightest white (when the backlight is fully lit, and white screen). You probably have 1:1000 like almost everyone else. Blacks are pretty much impossible to attain on today's LCD screens. *Patiently waits for OLED screens...*

  16. Ok, to get this straight... There are tiers of who got the most exact answers (all three right is highest, two right is next, one right is lowest), and if there is a tie in those tiers then whoever got their numbers closer wins? For instance, you draw 2-4-5. If there is a tie in second tier, say 1-4-5 and 4-4-5, then 1-4-5 gets it because 1 is closer to 2 than 4 is, correct? Or, if you draw 2-4-5, and the closest is 2-3-6 and 2-2-2 (only one number correct), 2-3-6 would get it because 3 and 6 are closer to 4 and 5... Is that how you're doing this? This is a bit confusing on how you'll do ties.

    It's meant to be over the top. You won't suddenly see people collapsing on the ground because they prioritize success over breathing. Exaggerated way of saying "Success isn't going to come to you, you have to get it yourself."
  20. Free from skype to skype. From what I read, calling is free for all domestic (US and Canada) calls, which would put it ahead of Skype. (Google did say it may not always be free, however. It depends on how much revenue they are getting from international calls.)

  22. I got this laptop, but I snagged it while it was $1000. It's a solid gaming laptop. Obviously, not as powerful as a similarly priced desktop, but I'm still very impressed. It runs almost all games at high or very high settings. This has a 2 year warranty I believe, and the one I got also has 1 year accidental damage warranty, which is likely a godsend considering I'm going to be moving it around everywhere at college. That's the x2 model. There are other versions which should still satisfy most games, but of course they will be priced differently. (There is an x1 and x3 model, and then there is a higher tier A series.)
  23. Potshot basically summed up my opinions on this. While it's good that people are actually thinking out of the box (something we really need atm), a large-scale project such as this will require a LOT of funds just to start out, even if it will pay for itself over it's lifetime. Before trying something like this, taxes should go elsewhere, where they'll have more immediate results.
