Reason ? A fairy told me not to... C'mon, you already know..... And stop being pessimist. SG is still doing great. Look at the traffic and activity. It'll never fold. Someone from SG will own it soon, improve it and run it better than ever....and I'll support the new owner and SG to the best of my capabilities as an outsider. The debate should be focused on who will take over from Garf....

Lets not have these polls anymore. These are inconsequential. Members should focus on improving SG and managing it themselves.....as suggested by many. To make it clear, I DO NOT OWN SG, nor am I planning to. And neither will Charles. I'm discussing it with GF on how to settle the payment part, but that stays between me and him, and I'll not answer that part. I'll try and help SG in whatever way I can, as an outsider. I'll not leave....and I can promise that I'll not let SG die.... I just won't own it coz...well...nvm. And everybody (you and the other idiot) should quit saying tht SG wll die. It'll never happen... And for that, everybody forgets the part he played in running the forum..... It is a thankless job.... Well, as I have mentioned before, whats done is done. But if the members at SG decide to run it by themselves, I won't really have an option but to hand it over to you guys..... As stated above, there still is a chance to get a part of the cake.....if that is really what you guys want. I haven't bought it yet....and we're still at status-quo .. So why all these rants ? I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a Mac...but thts not the point. Plz do not judge a person by this one instance. Buy a Mac....hell, you put it like he's killing someone. Well, for one thing...I surely don't want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. The members don't want SG to fall in the hands of an outsider. I happen to be an outsider. Not good. Not good at all... So, if the members feel they have a plan, I'll not run SG and hand it over to the SG veterans.... You have my word. Bottomline is, I am not brave enough to go against the wishes of a large chunk of members.

No...let's be honest here. While some members are not happy with GF, I'm not their favorite either. I can understand the reason...and I'm ok with it. Hell, if I were in their place, I'd be more pissed off....and had displayed it all out in the open. The members at SG actually resisted the temptation to kick me in the rear... The final point I want to make is - do NOT give me a chance if you don't believe in my ideas or whatever I've been posting since the past few hrs. Allow me to own the site only if you trust me enough. If you don't, then SG is too precious to be entrusted to an outsider.....capitalist bastard like me. I would reveal the number, but I do not know if GF would like it to be discussed in the open.

I'll still keep this offer on the table till the end of this month.... It's the least I can do to assure you that I (the outsider) will not 'buy out' the forum and make money out of it , if the members do not want me to. The last thing I want is a forum with thousands of unhappy members. If someone has got a better plan to run and grow the site, I'll be more than glad to be of any help to him/her.

I'm sorry, but I'm willing to invest a good deal of money, been planning things like crazy...been trying to convince members since past 14 hrs straight .... and all I am told is 'ya can't run SG cuz u can't play shit on Steam' .... I know there is divided opinion amongst the members, but I cannot go against the wishes of a good chunk of members..... Thats one thing I realize while working on the forums. So, if there are members who feel they can do a better job running SG than I can, I';; surely consider their offer and move along.....

I'll be very frank... I have nothing against you fellas.... If the members do NOT want me to run this place, I'll be happy to let it go and pass it on to you guys for the price I'm buying it for. At the end of the day, the site is made up of its members, and if I don't have the support, it's in everybody's interest to have an owner accepted by the members. Just keep me updated. I'll officially own the site by this weekend.....and will not invest anything until the end of this month. Please keep me updated, since I will be forced to not invest anything if I'm not going to own the site afterall.

No. It's not weird... It's normal. I simply do my job as an admin, and if I do it well, it does not matter if I play a couple games with the users at SG. They probably won't miss me ... as long as the site is well maintained and run properly. But yeah, I'm not too old to start playing on Steam. :-) I'll see you there shortly...
