  1. I made a basic rail gun back in middle school. Also made a coilgun in high school. Wish I still had pictures
  2. Always knew ColdWar was an ass but after this, that might be to light a term.

  4. Newest addition to the family. Had to trade off my AK for it.

To insurance companies, the STi is a pure sports car, even with 4 doors, while the M3 is considered a luxury car, probably because it's a BMW
  6. Post Your Car!

Except WRX insurance is through the roof. Would have cost me more to insure a STi than a M3. They are good cars though.
  7. Just got a 3DS XL (i hate all of you fuckers) Friend code: 2380-4346-9641 Pokemon Y

Kelly Blue Book is your friend. Also check the RX8 forums for people selling their cars.
  9. AUG in the US are only about $1800 for the A3 version (semi-auto of course). The A1's are a boat load more but I really never liked the optic it came with. There's a company that makes a clone called MSAR, their A3 copies are about $1300 and of decent quality. As with most unique guns though, they'll get you on the mags, cost you an arm and a leg to get a decent number of AUG mags.
  10. Xoul, you would buy a Desert Eagle

I hate driving automatics, there is just no connection to the driving experience. However the Flappy Paddle gear box is something I would drive depending on the quality of it. My M3 had the SMG and it was a dream. The economy cars with flappy paddles usually had shit transmissions but the more expensive sport cars generally have much nicer ones which are good to drive. Just remember that with a more complex transmission means more things that can go wrong and transmissions are expensive to fix. When I wrecked my M3, I was unable to get the SMG into gear and the car had to be towed off the highway.

First off, the S2 Mazda's are nice. My friend got one new, I was cheap and got a used S1. There's a forum called http://www.rx8club.com/. If suggest doing some reading and research, any question you have can be answered there. Now, before you buy a RX8, remember that the engine is a rotary engine, not a normal piston engine and requires some special care to prevent damage to the engine. -First is the engine burns oil as part of its operation, so you'll need to add a quart of oil every 1000 miles. Oil changes are done every 3000 miles, using conventional 5W-20 only, no synthetic. The reason is when synthetic oil is burned, it'll leave a film on the inside of the rotary casing which can impede engine operation. Some people have used synthetic but it is not recommended, Mazda recommends conventional oil only in the manual. -Second is to never just start then engine cold then immediately turn it off. If you turn the engine on, at a minimum drive it around the block to warm the engine up. If you don't you risk flooding the engine, even though the possibility of it happening is slim since the ECU update back in 05, it can still happen. A flooded engine isn't going to ruin the engine, it's just a pain in the ass to clear and a huge inconvenience. -Third is the engine warranty, not sure if it applies to the newer models, but I know it does to mine. The warranty is 8 year/100k miles that if the engine fails or fails a compression test (done at the dealer) due to normal operation, Mazda will replace the engine free of charge. -Forth is the engine redline is 9k rpm, and you'll want to take it to 9k rpm occasionally, because it helps clear the engine out. And don't worry about damaging the engine, the rotary loves being run at high RPM, just don't ride it. A couple of other things you may want to know is the shift point I use is 4k RPM, it's generally considered the economical shift point. But you'll still get crap gas mileage, 22ish on highway, 14ish in city. And it's premium gas only. If you are looking for upgrades, a good one is a short shifter by Axial Flow at http://www.axialflow.com/products.htm. It's great and makes a huge difference. Only took about an hour to do on my own, and most of that was trying to figure out how to get the center console off. As for tires, Dunlop Star Spec ZII are extremely good and very popular in the autocross world. You'll be surprised how well they work in the rain even though they are listed as dry weather tires. As a first car, it's not the best choice but it's not the worst. Space is pretty limited but not as bad as other sport cars since you have rear seats and a decent trunk. The rear seats are actually usable depending on the size of the people in the front. I'm 6'3" and I've had 3 others in my car for a 3 hour trip. If you have any other questions, post them here and I'll try to answer them.
  13. Moto X because Android is master race.
  14. I've actually seen people run Focus in HM raids and do fine. It's not ideal but they make it work. But AOE attacks are generally frowned upon in raids since it could accidentally hit a CC'ed mob.
  15. It depends on what you want to do. Combat has the spike damage which is good for clearing trash mobs, also has a slighter better defense. Watchman has constant damage, good for boss fights. It also has self and group heals which can help out depending on what you are doing. And Focus has the AOE damage if that's how you like to play, works well in PVP and PVE.
  16. I have my sentinal specced in Watchman from the old days. It comes in handy for HM OPs since the constant stream of DPS from the burns and heals is still semi-useful, even though the healing was nerfed it seems. And the LOS issue with slingers does get annoying on maps like huttball, but on voidstar, it's just way to easy to get top damage. The pushback is also a pretty troll on the bridge >
  17. I have a 55 Sentinal I use for PVE stuff. I use my lower level slinger for PVP. Slinger damage so op...

  19. I can usually find any ammo I need, just have to look in the right places. It's just cheaper to fund fewer ammo types for competition purposes. I'd have no intention of CCing the 1911, but it is the only approved pistol (well technically any single stack .45 within certain dimensions) for the Heavy Metal Division in 3 gun. And the 870 would be my first choice, a few nice used ones with extras around here for $450.
  20. So I've been considering a few things. One is selling my semi-auto shotgun and getting a good pump and selling one of my pistols (Sig P250 or Berreta M9) to make way for a 1911. The reason is so I can participate in 3-gun Heavy Metal Limited or Tactical. Or, I can ditch the AK and get a bare bones AR for Limited Division. I'm just trying thin out my collection since I'd rather not have to stock up on different types of ammo. Here is the rule book for 3 gun. http://uspsa.org/RifleShotgunMultigun%20Rules%201-1-2013final.pdf The other question is whether to sell my AK for more .308 ammo, 12 gauge, and pistol ammo Thoughts?

Here's another autocross video that I finally got around to finishing. Definitely not my best performance, going to try different tire pressures next time, seems like I've been running mine way too low. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzGHF9xr5mY
  22. Spent 2 weeks in IL over the Holidays and was pummeled with snow. Glad to be back in FL where its currently 50 degrees outside. Going shooting tomorrow, my AK needs some loving.
  23. DayZ

This. RAM is pretty cheap and a decent graphics card isn't too bad depending on the brand. I run an ATI and have never had any issues with it on any game. There are a lot of Christmas deals going on now, take advantage of them and upgrade your computer. But if you are looking to buy a new computer outright, newegg has some good prices, especially if you want to just build your own computer. Edit: Just looked at your processor, I'm surprised people still use dual cores for gaming, I think my phone has more processing power hue hue hue. But seriously, you might just want to get a new computer, Windows 7 and 8 suck up a retarded amount of RAM but with 2 cores, you are going to run into some serious issues me thinks. Like I said, if you want to keep the price down, go AMD. While its not as good at gaming as Intel, mine ran ARMA 2 on High which is probably good enough to run DayZ. I think the total cost of my computer from Newegg was around $750 with Windows 8.
  24. DayZ

It looks pretty good and if I wasn't all DayZ'ed out, I'd probably be playing it with you guys. I wonder if they will allow mods like Epoch and Origins. My real beef with the whole DayZ game was it was turning into a deathmatch instead of survival due to people shooting on sight and lack of honor like there use to be in the beginning when DayZ was first released. Some of the mods really changed that and forced teamplay with either really strong AI or benefits from working as a team with base building like Origins. But it still didn't stop the influx of the kiddies from the Call of Duty/Battlefield line of games who wanted to kill on sight. That's what Wasteland was for imo. I really hope they addressed that in this standalone, else it's going to end the up the same way. And the only way to make it so is to make zombies stronger and add AI that will hunt you down like players. That will force people to work together to survive. And you have to remember, that the original DayZ for ARMA II was still basically an Alpha release that just grew really popular.
