  1. Headset Mic

You mean the headphones with the Total Harmonic Distortion so amazingly bad that they refuse to publish it?
  2. Just remember: Don't jump on my head. I'll let you. I'll let you bounce up there like you felched a pogostick. Then 3 minutes later when everyone's looking somewhere else you're dead I'm gone.
  3. Woopsy looks like the shitwagon is coming to town, everybody hit the deck!
  4. Please tell me that was sarcasm. It's really more an epeen thing than anything else. You need to waterproof EVERYTHING even with mineral oil, and there's really not much that's as good a conductor of heat as water that wont also be a pain in the ass or damage your rig.
  5. Headset Mic

Trakaill were you drunk when you posted this?
  6. You can buy and use those relatively easy. If you want true madness there's people out there using Solid Oxygen. Think about the term "oxidizer" and how combustion works for a bit, you'll realise why it's insane.
  7. Headset Mic

    Price range.
  8. Headset Mic

Now you guys going to listen when I say in every freakin thread about headsets or microphones to avoid things that are gimmicky or "gamer" branded somehow?
  9. Notice it says 28.9/s? That's your rates man, you may as well be playing on a 30tic server >P YOUR INTERNET PENIS IS NOW SMALLER!
  10. Except you also need to account for number of channels. If intel's triple-channel attempts work out in the long run we'll be doing multiples of 3 instead of 2.
  11. A regular heatsink uses heatpipes to transfer heat from the bottom to the fins where a fan dissipates the heat into the air being blown through the fins. Watercooling uses water to transfer heat from a piece bolted to the CPU into the water and then cools the water down by running it through a heatsink (called a radiator) where a a fan or multiple fans blow air through the fins. Except for the extreme top end of both processors and watercooling equipment you're basically going to see the exact same performance as a $60-70ish heatsink since no matter what the temperature of the air blowing through the fins will be the same limiting factor. You cannot, under any circumstances, ever get below the temperature of the room that the heatsink is in. It doesn't sound like a big deal but when you live in Florida and it might be 80 degrees INSIDE because of a broken A/C unit...
  12. Dude your sig is the size of my screen man. That's not necessary...

  13. All consumer units have been 64bit since the Pentium 4. The only reason all software hasnt moved to 64bit is because nobody has forced them to. Microsoft drops 32bit support a lot of people will scream and whine and it will make really no difference. It's a marketting distinction preserved solely by the ridiculously outdated and undersupported software the bottom of the market uses and the massive silent clout that gamers have on the rest of the market. They make a 64bit OS that's good for gaming and I guarantee you they can drop 32bit support and everyone will follow it. People listen to the nerds nowadays.
  14. It's the resolution that counts, not the screen size. 1024x768 on a 32 inch screen looks like ass, 1600x1200 on a 10 inch screen is microscopic and impossible to work with. 1080P on a 32 inch screen is going to be blocky and kinda meh at computer monitor distances but great at TV distances. That's why computers go for 1200 vertical lines, the extra 200 lines makes a difference.
  15. Subwoofer

All I know is that the subwoofer that comes with the logitech z5500 series is 188 watt and capable of creating a standing wave in silly-putty.
  16. http://fabathome.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page I'm sorry you were saying something about a 3d printer? The RepRap can even print copies of itself...
  17. Pretty impressive since every CPU since the Pentium 4 has had both thermal throttling and an emergency thermal shutdown built into it. Water is not conductive. Ions and particulates IN the water ARE conductive. FluidXP will pick up stuff from every metal part it touches and become just as conductive as de-ionized water. What you really want to look out for is mold and bacteria growth. Yeah watercooling is a BITCH to move, you usually need to re-bleed each time you move it. So why are you watercooling mon, just for the fun of it? Watercooling is still a passive air-through-heatsink system, unless you're benchmarking competitively you wont outperform the average high end heatpipe tower.
  18. Corded, laser or optical depends on your DPI/Sensitivity preferences. Ideally you want laser-corded and to use the highest DPI and lowest sensitivity possible ingame (no modifications in windows) and then you get pixel-by-pixel accuracy with no interpolation or pixel skipping.
  19. the fuck? Norton practically IS a virus it's so terrible. Kaspersky, spybot.
  20. Careful, I'm all bones and gristle.

  21. If he ever upgrades he can take the graphics card forwards with him, its not a dead end upgrade.
  22. Gaming Rig

Koss is decent, they're good low-end headphones.
  23. Orlando. Home of the Infamous OBT, I-Drive, and the University of Corporate Florida.
  24. I've got a beard trimmer for the manscaping, bring on the shorts-weather.
