Used Windows Vista (God bless), 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. 7 is by far better than vista and both versions of 8. I'm on 10 now, and have been since July. I've had no issues and everything works just fine.

It's a major dick move, but as the rules currently stand, the CT did not break any rule. The technical part here is the T not specifying that he wanted to have his freeday until the round time hit 0:00. I understand how some people will understand that asking for a freeday means the rest of the round, not just 5 seconds or however long, but you'll have to also understand how some people will not assume the same. Like I said, it's all about technicalities. For what it is worth, I agree the CT was a dick for doing so, and I'm all for either not allowing it, or straight up not allowing freeday LRs completely. You're probably thinking of the freeday next round discussion.

I mean, that's kinda what LRs are for. Really they are meant to speed up the round. So if there's someone asking for a freeday for their LR and there's 2 mins left in the round, congrats you're now wasting 2 mins. With LRs the whole point is you die. That's why it's called your last request. The last part of your quote is being discussed and likely changing FWIW. The example given in the OP falls under one of my favorite movie quotes. "You're not wrong...you're just an asshole". I will say that I believe @Nuclear Onion was working on changing up some things with LRs. Honestly id just suggest removing free days as LRs completely. If I recall correctly, freeday next round was already removed, but if the OP example is that big of a deal, just flat out not allowing freeday LRs is the best route IMO. It

Getting a strange sense of deja vu reading that. Swear I recall someone saying basically the same thing before and a higher up asking them to let them know. Just throwing it out there, if you know admins might be scripting, you might want to consider PM'ing a higher up about it. It's just a ticking time bomb. Matter of fact, think it was in a ban appeal that someone pointed out some admins were scripting and think a BD asked them if they could provide proof.

@keviN :y we appreciate you wanting to help out the server, but as stated there's really no use for it. Players on our server don't really play soccer that much, or at least not seriously enough to require a plug-in to make it more real. The vast majority of the time players just stand in the middle of the field and knife the ball directly into the goal over and over. I'm sure plenty of other servers have added it, but one thing myself and plenty of others enjoy about our server is the lack of unnecessary plug-ins. The vast majority of servers have a last request or warden plug-in, but we don't and most people enjoy that. It's a cool plugin in principle, and I do completely understand what it is, but it doesn't really fit with the type of server we run. Again, i appreciate you wanting to help out though.

I merged this with your first thread. There was no reason to make a new thread for that. I'm glad to see you getting more active on the forums, but please try not to spam or make unnecessary threads/posts.

This has definitely been a lessons learned type thing. I messed up by assuming people would get their matches done quicker than they've been done. If we do another RL tourny, more work will be put in to account for time zones and getting as many people to play, in as quick of a time as possible. Our match in particular has taken a few days to get setup due to the fact that I have been working a lot of nights the past week which means I get off at 11, which is when Wolfee gets off his computer. We should hopefully get it played tomorrow. I don't regret not making it a day. And I still don't plan on doing it in one day next time either. The idea of having it spread out over more than a day isn't what went wrong with this tournament. The lack of proper setup on my part is what has made it take this long. I was too focused on just randomizing the teams 100% and throwing them out there to play. Next time more thought needs to, and will be put into accounting for things such as work schedules and time zones. I have a few ideas in my mind on how I think a big rocket league tournament can go a lot smoother, and I will be working on those and talking to people about them sometime in the future.

The ESRB ratings are not legally binding. They serve as guidelines. There's nothing illegal about someone underage playing a M rated game. The only reason a 16 year old couldn't buy a M rated game, is due to the vast majority of stores enforcing the ESRB ratings as store policies. Edit: Also, I assume the schools have the parents sign a waiver acknowledging that their child is playing these games. Believe overwatch is rated T, CSGO is rated M. Not sure about the others, but I assume they are also T. But regardless the ratings aren't legally binding.

The actual issue with one way Windows boils down to camping. Per our rules, players can camp as long as they are helping their team. What exactly that means is often left to admin discretion. If you notice a player continuously camping the window and not really helping his team, you can always try to get an admin on, or demo and possibly make a player complaint. In regards to the Windows, they do add a bit of a different element to the game, and I actually like the window on razor since it's not 100% one way. As said, they will likely never be taken out from our server (mostly because that would require someone actually editing the maps just for that). The issue itself isn't the window, it's the camping. Which is an issue entirely in itself.

The game mode is already complex enough with all the situational orders and CTs having trouble keeping control of the Ts. Honestly don't see a reason to make what should be a pretty simple game mode, even more complicated. Also, I've heard people say the reason they love our server compared to others is that it doesn't have all these unnecessary plugins.

Lol. Katy is hardly the only artist I listen to but I digress. First off is the diss on Katy. Ignoring the fact that she does have a christian album, the vast majority of Katy's song are written based on personal experiences, and she has quite a few songs with very powerful or positive meanings. Most notable being Firework and By The Grace of God (which was written about her being suicidal after her divorce). Really looking at her albums, the only songs that you could make a case for being "repeating stuff and having a catchy tune" is Birthday, Walking on Air, This is How We Do, Last Friday Night, Peacock, I Kissed a Girl, Waking Up In Vegas, Hot n Cold. That's 8 songs stretching across 3 albums totaling 43 songs (I counted Wide Awake and Part of Me in this count). 8/43 is hardly half. You can maybe make an argument over a few other songs not having much meaning, notably Teenage Dream and Cali Gurls off the top of my head, but regardless, Katy is a horrible example to use here.
