I've witnessed fatal tragedies in my life outside of this community before, but never would I have ever expected to witness one within it. Roux was an integral piece to SG--his personality and dedication to this community was incredibly influential; and that's an understatement. Whenever logging onto SG's Teamspeak, it was his interactions I looked forward to the most when I saw him online because I already expected his sarcastic 'schtick' if he or I joined the same channel. I will greatly miss his sarcasm, as I feel it closely resembles my own, and I also appreciate his takes on certain topics. Roux, I will never forget you, my friend.

Marvin Hagler, a boxing legend and one of the best middleweights of all-time, passed away today at the age of 66. He was an absolute beast in the ring and had signature wins over other boxing legends such as Thomas Hearns and Roberto Duran. His most memorable moment for me is the first round of his bout with Thomas Hearns--both were regarded to be the most feared middleweights at the time and the beginning of their fight delivered one of the most action-packed rounds in boxing history.

Man, where would we all be without capitalism. The world would stop turning if people like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos suddenly just disappeared from existence, never mind the countless workers who simultaneously ran their companies and produced their massive wealth.

In the short term, I'd mourn because of the realization that Peanut Daycare has finally won. But then I'd turn to Vick, and suddenly everything feels like it's going to be okay.

Soft wins by default, I don't enjoy approaching taco eating as a game of try not to make the shell collapse or crumble all over me.

I figured this would be a relevant fitness thread due to the recent pandemic and the jolt of popularity that cycling has received. I've recently gotten into cycling as a hobby and for exercise, and I'm interested in seeing your bikes and the story behind them! I got mine off Facebook Marketplace a few months ago, a Schwinn Ranger 26" mountain bike. It definitely needed work (back derailer didn't shift, handlebar grips were deformed, both tires completely flat, bird shit on the saddle and light rust all-around suggests they kept the bike outside in the elements), so I installed new pedals, a new saddle, new handlebar grips, new chain, new drop bars with a mirror attachment to make it a road bike hybrid, and got a tune-up at a local bike shop to fix the shifting issue. Here are before-and-after pictures of my bike. I just added bike tape to my handlebars this evening, so that won't show in the after pictures. Before: After:

That's going to be me soon before my bike rides, love eating pasta before cycling for 2+ hours.
