1. I'd be excited if it was D3, but my computer wouldn't run it anyway so why be excited? :glare: Anyway, despite it being a WoW forum, there's lots of talk on it here. Lots of info on the first post. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=7475808004&sid=1
2. Right now either Doom 2 or Painkiller. I'm a sucker for old school styled shooters. Quake too, back when people played it online. Q-Ball, runes, and the original Team Fortress for the win. I plan on getting Bioshock after the 360 comes back from repairs though, so maybe it'll change if it's as good as people say it is... then again people also said that Halo 3 was good and I returned that within two weeks.
3. I played SSBB once with a friend. 'Meh' was the only thing that came to mind. It's the same game as the first one in the series. Besides the story mode or whatever the heck they're calling it this time around, very little has changed. Lucas
4. Call Of Duty 5

*yawn* I'm so sick of WWII. I wish they'd do something more futuristic instead, kind of like BF2142. There aren't enough futuristic shooters around, that is, futuristic with still a touch of realism if that makes any sense. It's the difference between Unreal Tournament III and BF2142, whatever that may be.
5. I have nothing helpful on the issue. Today I went through installing custom models/skins, and so far everything but the butterfly knife worked properly. :001_unsure:
6. The Special Olympics of the internet is dead? This calls for a sexy party.
7. I've been kinda hooked to this one lately: Marty Friedman - Simple Mystery Too bad the entire album besides this song and maybe one other is incredibly awful.
8. The point of 3DMark is to have solid numbers to compare different graphics cards with. Yeah, you can do that with the manufacturer specs that you'll find on their website, but then you're dealing with multiple numbers instead of one solid number that's founded purely on graphics card performance and not it's features.
9. People who can't keep off their talk key for five seconds apart. I don't care if it's all in-game stuff, I can't stand it when people are constantly talking. In terms of voice, the only voices I really can't stand are young kids(like, less than 12 lets say) and people that sound like they have melons stuck up their noses.
10. Escape I, though Deathrun admittedly isn't bad.
11. My Top 10

As of right now... 1. Racer X - Superheroes 2. Megadeth - The Killing Road 3. Testament - The Formation Of Damnation 4. Michael Angelo Batio - Hands Without Shadows 5. Annihilator - Stonewall 6. Nuclear Assault - Critical Mass 7. Megadeth - Use The Man 8. Galloglass - Banished From Eternity 9. Dream Theater - Take The Time 10. Michael Angelo Batio - Rain Forest
12. I know very little outside of rock... I don't even know how I made the connection between digeridoo and Aphex Twin considering I only like one Aphex Twin song that for the life of me I can't remember. I think it was a remix or something with some jamaican guys, friggin' goofy shit.
13. This was the only thing that came immediately to mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiVe_4UVhEE
14. Some classics. Nuclear Assault - Critical Mass Death Angel - Voracious Souls Megadeth - Holy Wars Annihilator - Stonewall
15. WoW Ruins Lives

Such is the nature of MMOs. It was the same way with Everquest. Nothing's changed several years later yet people act like these stories are new. From Wikipedia's Everquest page: "The game is renowned and berated (by some psychologists specializing in computer addiction) for its addictive qualities. Many refer to it half-jokingly as "NeverRest" and "EverCrack" (a reference to crack cocaine). EQ is very time-consuming for many people, and there have been some well-publicized suicides of EverQuest users, such as that of Shawn Woolley. Relationships broken because of obsessive playing resulted in the creation of an online support group called EverQuest Widows and sites like GamerWidow.com. An infamous rant titled "EQ: What You Really Get From An Online Game" appeared on Slashdot in 2002, and brought this issue of EverQuest addiction to the forefront of many message boards across the Internet." MMOs aren't the only kinds of games with stories like this. There was a Korean guy who died playing Starcraft for two complete days in a row or something like that not too long ago.
16. Zero Punctuation

His Halo 3 review was spot on, and he's earned my respect just for that one.
17. Sounds kinda like Unreal Tournament 2004's Invasion game type, which is a blast.
18. What was stupid about it? The topic asked if craigslist.com could be trusted... as in, the entire site. It's pretty obvious the guy putting the ad up can't be trusted, but I wouldn't mark down the entire site untrustworthy because of that one guy. I've personally used the site and so far things have been gravy.
19. If this is real... then it takes a special kind of idiot to get a custom license plate and then commit crimes. Remembering random letters and numbers isn't the easiest thing in the world, but when your license plate is as simple as that is... one has to wonder just what goes on in that dude's head.
20. It depends totally on the person putting the ad up. From what I gather out of this thread, it was probably not trustworthy. I have a little bit of experience with craigslist. I bought an MG10KK amplifier from some guy for $60 brand new, and the deal went through just fine. I contacted a few people about electric guitars too and things seemed legit. I wouldn't trust craigslist or any website like that with shipping items/PayPal payments, but you're more than likely okay with transferring money/goods in person.
21. You answered yes to 11 of 43 questions. You are 26% addicted to Counterstrike. There has been 5602 person(s) as addicted as you.
22. Deathrun

You and I both were on that server earlier this evening, haha. Yeah, I'm not sure what the hub bub is over deathrun... maybe that particular map ruined it for me. Floors broke when CTs stepped on them, and some of the traps were absolutely impossible to get past by yourself because they cover such a wide area. From what I've seen from that one map, you need a good majority of the CTs not to be noobs to get past the traps that cover a wide area. The rest is about luck, or letting people go first to get hit by the trap and then you walk on by and continue, which I imagine no one would want to do once they get the hang of how deathrun works. It's like waiting for one or two people to play the intended role of "Operation Human Shield" from the South Park movie.
23. Deathrun

I've been hearing about this quite a bit as of late. Rather than ask what servers are good, what's the map prefix for it? I assume it's dr_xxxxxxxxxx, I've never bothered checking though.
24. Does anyone have any autographed stuff relating to music? If so, then what? What's the story around the signed material? I went to a guitar clinic today hosted by Glen Drover and he signed my United Abominations album cover. He's a real nice guy, great guitar player. He played Sleepwalker, Tornado of Souls and Washington Is Next! for us, as well as a little bit of Alison Hell by Annihilator which was pretty cool. He's real serious about people not taking videos of him though.
25. Planetside

I was playing it free at one point, I'm not sure if it was the 15 day trial or whatever... it was a long time ago, but I remember being completely and totally lost and I gave up after an hour or two. I hate games that give you large freedom like that but don't clue you in on what you're supposed to do or where to go. I much prefer Tribes or the Battlefield games for that kind of thing. I distinctly remember taking aircraft in the Tribes 2 multiplayer demo and smashing them against enemy buildings, vehicles and turrets. Fun stuff, though it was quite a few years ago.
