Yeah, the Zboard uses rubber domes. You can actually see them because you can detach the keys from the board itself(this is where the easy cleaning comes in) without any screwdrivers or anything like that. Hell, you can type without a keyset in the Zboard, just pushing the rubber domes if you know where the keys are... not that that's useful. I remember unboxing it and the first day of use, it was unreal compared to more conventional keyboards. I guess one major flaw is that the plastic on the keys tend to wear off after enough use. I wonder if I still have my first Zboard around somewhere, the spacebar was bad news and so were a few other keys. I'll look around tomorrow and see if I can find it and post a picture, the wear and tear on the spacebar and the control key is crazy because I hit both with the sides of my fingers and my nails tends to scrape on the plastic.

Lack of Zboard love makes me sad. I've been using one for a few years now(the standard keyset mind you, don't fix what's not broken Ideazon) and about the only thing that came close was the G15. The screen on the G15 is almost completely pointless. First of all, ergonomically you have to be set up properly to even see the screen. The top of my keyboard is usually hidden by my desk, like right now I don't even see the function keys. The screen itself does very little that's useful, I mean health and ammo readouts? Really? It's on the monitor! Besides novelty why in the world would you use it for that? The only real use I could see for the G15's screen is if you're an enthusiast and like to monitor your RAM and CPU usage and the temperature of your computer while you're in-game or something. I just like the feel of the Zboard when I'm typing. I like loud keyboards and I like keyboards that handle multiple key presses at the same time(as opposed to my piece of shit laptop keyboard that doesn't even handle some three-key combinations which makes gaming real fun without a controller). It's easy to clean too. The only thing I wish it had were backlit keys but because of the design of the keyboard that's impossible to ask for.

I think I broke my desk with my face... not that I play CS much anymore anyway. I've said it before and I'll say it again, give it a good 10 or 15 years and then you might sound like him. As for Duke, I gave up like 5 years ago. I wasn't that interested in the first place, Duke 3D had the most annoying level design ever.

Possibly a silly suggestion but are you sure you've enabled the console? By default you have to go into your options and enable the console for it to even open.

I've got a friend running the same ISP I am and he had his connection terminated because the ISP determined that his computer was part of a bot net and refused to let him connect again until that stuff was removed. I removed it. I'm still around, no bot net. For the record, I did install MalwareBytes just for fun and did a scan. Absolutely nothing. Well okay, that's not really true... I did get two Disabled.SecurityCenter entries, but that's not Malware. It's whining about security settings on my machine. Apparently people were asking for this change to MalwareBytes so they put it in around two months ago as I understand it.

Maybe, maybe not. The last time I had a virus problem was when I was on my 200MHz, 16 MB RAM Windows 95 machine, and even then I don't know if it was a virus or a hardware issue.

I've got absolutely nothing running. A firewall's too much of a pain in the ass to keep running. I think Zone Alarm had a serious issue with Counter-Strike running, like Zone Alarm would make me lag heavily in CS, so I had to stop running it. I don't have a virus scanner of any kind on my computer. Don't need one. It's next to impossible to get a virus if you know what you're doing on your machine.

If official drivers aren't working for you, you should try third party drivers just to see if they're running any better. Always go official unless something's not working right. There are a couple of third party ones but I can never remember the names of them other than the Omega Drivers. http://www.omegadrivers.net/omega_drivers.php

For motorcycles, a Harley Davidson VRSC Night Rod Special. Cars, a Dodge Stealth/Mitsubishi 3000GT. Stock spoiler on a Dodge Stealth is the ugliest thing on Earth. That's got to go. A black 91/92/93 3000GT would be ideal to hide the black strip in the front. There's no flip light model without it. I'm a sucker for flip lights.
