Opening cell doors isn't an order so no, it's not a conflicting order. However, "• CTs cannot obstruct a T's ability to follow the orders. Subject to admin discretion." Opening a cell door and preventing Ts from being able to do their cell games as per the order seems like it's breaking this rule. So yes, to my interpretation it's against the rules to open cell doors if the order is to do cell games until X time. Isn't the T blatantly rebelling depending on what teleporter they used? If orders are to freeze and they yeet over to surf in some other part of the map where CTs' attention are diverted from the group to that one T, it sounds like it's a blatant rebel. If it's a secret they're KOS no matter what, but from what you said it sounds like it's just a map teleporter and not a secret. ^ Above is just my opinion, don't take it as the final answer. I'll need to talk with the boys about this.
  2. Hypothetically, let's say we add a rule saying "All CTs must order Ts to go to medic before forcing a deathgame". At this point aren't we nitpicking and dictating way too much? As @Gentoo said it's the T's fault for getting warning shot. As @urp said forced deathgames were implemented to help the round go faster. I don't really think this change is needed but I'll bring it to the team.
  3. Definitely a valid argument and I definitely see your POV. On maps like CTs tend to give Ts the opportunity to do climb and so the main argument made in the meeting was that they weren't able to finish climb. Like you and @idealist said this seems counter-intuitive to the point of JB so this is something I'll bring up with the team when we make a decision on this. @Infinityward (and others), any response to the above ^?
  4. For certain maps like Clouds it's fairly difficult to rebel and most rounds end up being played out with Ts playing with map features. With this in mind, are you still against extending round times depending on the map?

  6. I'm on my laptop right now so I can't check, but if that catwalk connects to armory then it's KOS. If it doesn't like the people above me said then it's not KOS.

  8. "• CTs do not have to say “no detouring/delaying”, it is automatically implied." Not requesting an LR is delaying if the order is "freeze and LR". You can give a T who is delaying a warning shot.
  9. The map is too large for the server to handle properly. For this reason we're going to reject this request, but thanks for the suggestion!
  10. 10/7/19 The fix I applied yesterday was reverted on server restart. I took measures to ensure these values remained persistent throughout restarts. Thank you @Fuze for your quick help and @Toasty for letting me know.

Thanks for the work and laughs you put in over the years Bdcoll you were here when I joined in 2015 and I was surprised to see you still here when I came back in 2018/2019. Hope you can find some time to pop in once in a while and catch up on what's going on cheers man.

  14. We currently have a plugin in place to keep the ratio at 2:3 or better: There are some maps where a slightly skewed ratio in favor of CTs is favorable (razor, all its variants). I can run it by the team if we want to lower this 2:3 ratio, but for now that's where we currently are.
  15. 10/6/19 There was a major bug where CTs could see the weapon(s) a T had equipped along with an outline of the T if the T was using voice chat. I've patched this just now - thank you @Scuffed for letting me know discreetly and quickly. Apologies for any inconvenience.

  17. This has also been our only report of models not working on any map besides Clouds... @banksey your CS:GO models folder might be corrupted or something if it's every map. Go to "steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo", and delete your "models" folder in there. As for Clouds, we'll do some debugging and see which model/cosmetic/whatever is causing the issue.
  18. 10/5/19 - Removed the map jb_clouds_sg as the metal detector was causing people to go invisible. We'll investigate a fix and add the map back to the map cycle once patched. Thank you to everyone who let us know about this bug .
  19. Just Clouds when people walk through the metal detector (from what I heard from) , and no flickering. Doesn't happen every time.
  20. If a CT goes into a KOS area and a T is still able to participate in the LR (in this case, shot for shot - T can still shoot a CT in a KOS area) then that's fine. The only problem is when a CT goes into a KOS area to delay and a T cannot complete their LR. We have a rule change coming shortly to address this situation. Thanks for pointing it out!

  22. Talked with the team again and we decided to reject this. Rounds tend to be over by the time the round ends, and in cases where the round does drag on in most cases it's because the Ts have rebelled and CTs are camping. Not only this, but deathgames usually kill most of the Ts anyway - we have more trouble with people not stopping the deathgame in time than people stopping the deathgame early enough to start another deathgame. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  23. 1 is done. 2 and 3 were discussed and determined not to be needed. A new CT should be reading over the entire ruleset anyways. Thanks for the suggestion (and thank you @IntenseFajita ).

There's a decent window for joining and even though not many people get in first round, as a result of this first round goes by pretty quickly and during this time everyone can join up and be there for round #2. For this reason I'm going to reject this for JB, but thanks for the suggestion! Will leave this open for the TTT gentlemen. @Zayne @roux
