While on the topic of the events thread and you mentioned the SuperShitShow event. That doesn't necessarily HAVE to happen on that map. I just thought it'd be a fun little reference cause that's what the map basically is, and it would be cool to see that sort of thing happen on a simple map like icecap or arctic escape

Just because its monthly doesnt mean it has to start at the beginning of the month. It just means it happens once a month. Also people get busy so winner announcemnets get delayed or forgotten about and there was some issues with the server management a little while ago with all the changes and switches being made as im sure you noticed. Everything should be running smooth and proper now. All we ask is that you be patient in our responses to certain threads or events as stuff does come up sometimes

This could definitely be a good MGT idea, dont know too much about becoming a server permanently but anything is possible. Someone please put this down for October, it'd be fun to wreck some maps with SG players

After a bit of discussion, Wesker and I decided that its probably best to keep the Expert category of maps at the required 40 Players minimum. However if any of you feel there are any maps that shouldn't be listed in [Expert] but instead in the [Hard] map section, then feel free to make a thread listing all the maps you feel should be moved. Our reasoning for wanting to keep the required minimum of players is because while we don't get to play those maps as often, when people can't beat them or have fun on them they leave the server giving people less of a reason to join and play, so lowering the minimum would only start the server out at a lower player count to lose and kill the population at the time. I understand that this does not necessarily happen with every Expert/Hard map but when it does the server usually loses about half of its players, and we would like to keep the population as high as possible while maintaining fun in the server (which those maps arent really fun without a bunch of people on anyways). Thanks for the suggestion but the player caps are going to stay, but the categories maps are in are always welcome to be rearranged

ZOMBIE ESCAPE RANKS AND MODELS TRI-MONTHLY RANK RESETS For a little over three months now @Wesker's Zombie Escape Rank Points plugin has been running on the server. Seeing as how the top few people on the scoreboard have over 10k points and the top 25 for the Coconut Model Perks is sitting around 3k points, it tends to discourage new players from being able to reach those goals. To fix this issue, we will be rolling out a rank points reset so that those newer players have a chance to reach the top and compete with some of our more known regulars. MONTHLY PLAYER MODELS Another small thing we've noticed on the server recently is the popularity for certain player models. To satisfy this hunger, we will be releasing a new public player model each month on top of our two already public models, Shadow Company, and Ada Wong. This will not only give you guys a new fun model to use and see running around the server, but will also help us find future VIP/Sub models to use with help from feedback from the community. WHEN WILL THE MODEL BE CHANGED The model should to be changed on the first of every month. If it is not done right away, please give us a few days to get a model set up for the server. If its been a few days and you have not heard from us or seen a model announced, feel free to pm us to figure out what is going on, and we will try our best to update the community on what is happening. WHAT KIND OF MODELS YOU WILL SEE The models presented will include either a human model or a zombie model. Some of you may be wondering why we don't put both a human and a zombie model on at the same time and the simple answer is that there isn't enough models for us to do this regularly, and the files needed to download for new players is already so high that we don't want to add more to that than we have to. HOW DO I GIVE FEEDBACK Each month we will be making a thread in the Zombie Escape Subforum to showcase the new monthly model, as well as allow you guys to give feedback on the previous month. Here you can tell us if you thought the model was good, bad, or whatever opinions you have on it. In these threads you can also suggest a model for us to use for a monthly model on the server, and if we think it's good enough you may see it on the server eventually. If a model seems to be hated on too much during the month or is causing issues in the server, we will disable/replace it depending on when in the month this happens and how drastic of an issue it is. SEPTEMBER'S MONTHLY MODEL For the first month of monthly ZE models, we would like to announce that the Isaac Clarke Riot model shall be joining the server. To use this model simply use !models in game chat and select the model from the list provided in the human models menu. In addition to this limited time hellknight zombie model, we will also be activating a 2X Store Credit Multiplier on the server for the next week! Be sure to hop on and get those credits for all those awesome store items you've been saving up for. One last thanks goes to @Darnias for being such a big help with the Zombie Escape Models. This man has made us quite a few arm models to use on the server as well as ported over models that we now use such as Tourist Kermit and he even made the Isaac Clarke skin. I happened to find this skin on gamebanana and thought it was cool before i realized Darnias made it, so shout out to that man for being a true Anime Officer Hero

^^^ this and also when suggesting a model its generally a good idea to provide links and pictures of the model you are suggesting seeing as most people probably dont know what model it is youre talking about or where to find it

I upped the initial RTV time when you first load in a map from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. If this still seems to be an issue then let us know and I'll increase the time a bit more. As for the nominations cooldown, that isnt as simple to fix but its something we'll be discussing/looking into

I like the idea as an idea but I feel like itd just annoy people who want to vote because now they have to click two things to vote on the already glitchy system that sometimes doesnt register first click. Id like to hear what other people think of the suggestion as it may be something to look into in some way shape or form

I would like to point out that had you all not decided to band together to MASSIVELY destroy diry in the vote, then we would not have campaigned as much as we did. So as much as this is our fault, its also your guys’ fault for making such a big deal out of it. All your little sharade of, LETS VOTE FOR ANYBODY BUT DIRY, VOTE FOR TIDES, and all that stuff just made us want to campaign more because it felt like a real competition at that point. Our main goal was to get diry into the finals, which we did, and from there we were going to take the campaigning lightly (ie. the one post i made about actually voting for diry). Do i think diry should be removed from the contest? No, absolutely not. Theres no reason to remove diry when you guys only tried to make him lose by doing the same thing we did but with tides. I get that its kind of a lost vote for everyone else but you brought it upon yourselves by deciding to screw over diry and give us some actual reason to go ask more people to vote for him to give SOMEONE a fair chance at the finals. My recommendation: take what you get and have fun with it anyway you can. When you guys take this contest seriously is when it gets boring. Campaigning was never serious for me and diry, it was just our way of having fun here and we even got you guys to make a shitload of memes against us which is hilarious. I feel like if a revote were to be done, then we should remove everyone who thinks this contest is a real competition, and not just another way for everyone to have fun on the forums and outside of them
