  1. This has been brought up a few times for TTT and JB but barely managed to get off the ground. I believe this is because this would be best accomplished using the test servers to record footage, but the staff with access are lacking the time or interest for it. I had personally pushed for it in the past, but hit a wall when staff shelved it at the time. I would recommend trying to capture your own footage on our servers and working with friends, unless any higher ups are particularly interested in getting this off the ground right now.
  2. When I first started building cells for a map with this feature, each cell could be opened individually by CTs by pressing E on it, like a door, while the cell button opened all of the cells. I think the best implementation, however, would be to divide cells up into groups (Main Cell/VIPs, Bottom Cells/Top Cells), so that is what I am referring to in this thread unless someone has a genius idea as to why we should use the primary implementation.
  3. When I was first getting into mapping, I toyed around planning out maps. One of the ideas I had, was to make a JB map with individually opening cells. My schedule has become more hectic recently, so I don't see myself making a fully fledged map in the near future, but this is a feature I wouldn't mind porting into one of some of our already existing maps. My questions are: is this something you guys would want, is it something that would work with our server, and is it something that we'd be able to do within the rules? Fo instance, if on Razer, main cells opened separate from VIP cells, would two Cats be able to lead the groups independently without it counting as special orders (which are revokable), is it something that you guys could see put to use on the server, and would our server be able to handle CTs controlling two separate groups? I'd like to think this would add more variety to rounds, but we often have trouble when one group is playing a consensual deathgame, and another is being given orders. Eager to hear what you guys think about this, and what maps this could be implemented on.
  4. So you want rounds to consist of 4 Ts running around or doing LRs for 5 minutes? Nah fam. Also I believe the rule amendment was specifically made in the event that a deathgame is not functioning as intended. I wouldn't necessarily be against increasing round times, but the deathgame time should remain at 2:30.
  5. We already have !kills (I think? Maybe it's !stats) in place which tracks your long term total kills of each role, and ranks you against other players on a leaderboard. I really don't see the need for another command to be implemented unless people are super passionate against RDMs counting against your rank.

  8. Fin.

He's gone? Time to win these karma contests. Later bowlcut, catch you on TTT again sometime.

  10. I don't think there's a great deal that we can do to encourage players to play CT more often, particularly that would negate a T skewed ratio. It's often a landslide effect, where CTs will get shafted for one or two rounds, causing players to leave and compounding this effect until map changes or some sweaty Ts get the balls to switch. The only way to incentivise players to switch back to CT would be to reduce their chances of getting dunked on, which is why everyone is leaving in the first place. Once again, once ratio returns to normal, this plug-in would have less of an effect. I think the point ZZL mentioned is worth taking into consideration. It might be worth having an upper limit on the HP or just reducing the multiplier to 100 or 95.
  11. This is sort of an outlandish idea, but I think it would be cool to have a plug-in in place that automatically buffs CTs when the ratio goes to shit. The math behind it would be something along the lines of (# of Ts * .5 * 105)/# of CTs. CTs would be given health based on this at the beginning of the round, and would heal back to the normal 105 hp. This would ensure CTs still have a balance to the Ts in terms of HP, creating a Juggernaut like effect when the ratio gets ridiculous. If the ratio were to be 2:3 or something similar, it would still default back to a minimum of 105 up for CTs. We seem to have many rounds where the ratio goes to shit and the round is basically a throwaway until the ratio can be fixed and returned to something reasonable. This can often last for many rounds and depopulate the server significantly. Hopefully, a plug-in like this would fix this and even allow for Juggernaut-esque rounds if players wanted to intentionally fuck the ratio to cause this. In practice for a ratio of 5:20, the plug-in would run 20*.5*105/5, giving each CT a starting HP of 210.

Did you really make this in paint? The black border gives it away

  14. bump Noticed this wasn't marked as reviewing, so I assume there's room for more people to share their opinions on this.
  15. https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-invyr-holy-panda-mechanical-switches Looks in stock to me Anyways, I forget to mention lubing your switches can make a HUGE difference on not only feel, but also noise. It's very tedious to do properly, but supposedly worth the effort. Holys and some other switches come pre-lubed, but some people report that the lubing is shit out of the box. Also, these are hella expensive but they're nice looking keyboards to drool over https://rama.works/ I bought their PBT Heavy Industry SEQ2 caps in June and I'm still waiting on them
  16. Holy Panda Cherry Black Zilents Kailh Choc Pale Blue Gateron Green ngl chief, I'm a tactile click kind of guy, but any of these would be decent options, especially the holy pandas. Depending on your keyboard, look into soldering and installing a foam/acoustic foam dampener. I hate the feel of o-rings but you might want to try them too.
  17. So uhhh, you gon appeal?

  18. Remove !gloves so I can flex my $200 virtual items again
  19. Not to derail, but I'm glad you guys have this in mind. Every time someone started a deathgame after the rule change people would whine and cite different versions of the rule (which was not updated in !rules at the time) and I would have to dig up the changelog and explain when it was changed and whether what they were doing was allowed. I guess you can't expect a bunch of 8 year olds on summer break to be too good with numbers
  20. I don't need a last meal, just give me some time with those two snacks behind you, warden
