  1. Analyzing the scene doesn't add any value to it, you're just pointing out what's taking place. A presentation isn't the same as a discussion. For the sake of argument, imagine this is a real argument laid to music. Does it have any inherent value? Sure you can try to psychoanalyze the participants or talk about how cultural issues have impacted their relationship, but that's not something actively being discussed or critiqued in the track. It's like going to a movie and it's just some guy trying to catch fish and going to bed. You can analyze all you want about it, but it doesn't actively convey a theme in the same way a proper story does. The closest you've come to pulling out a theme is 'maybe you should stay in a toxic relationship instead of being lonely', which is a pretty shit thing to say but at least it takes a stance on something. Imagine having the nerve to patronizingly call someone's subjective opinion uninformed. Fuck you, bitch.
  2. Generic fictional couple argues about generic fictional problems before devolving into a vague tirade about gendered issues and resolving over sex. I mentioned it as a meme not a low point in the album but the fact that there's people that would call this creative and nuanced has made me change my stance. Cringe and trash, I'd like to see what you have to say in favor of it.
  3. Listen again, he gave us the pass
  4. Old Kendrick: nuanced perspective on racism, black culture, relationships, politics New Kendrick: fuckyoubrothafuckyoubitchfuckmebrothafuckmebitch Albums pretty good so far but definitely some low points. I don't understand why you guys like Keem, his voice is whiny as fuck. High points are Rich Spirits, Silent Hill, Auntie Diaries, and Savior.
  5. Prevents damage and is more ergonomic for some jobs/uses. Looks gay as hell normally though
  6. All done now?
  7. I tried to help you out man, I figured as an admin you'd be a bit better at deescalation Best to quit while you're ahead, you look really insecure coming out of nowhere to flame me in every thread.
  8. One of the biggest issues with this is reaching the target demographic in a cost effective way and having enough infrastructure that getting clicks will be effective.
  9. Settle down, ok? Maybe go for a walk and meditate some
  10. Inability to detect sarcasm is a sign of onset dementia; might want to get that checked.
  11. It's against my beliefs to agree with a woman, unfortunately
  12. He got replaced by Mikkelsen, who's going to outshine him and anyone else in FB lol. It's a defamation case, not sure what you were expecting, fingerprints and DNA?
  13. TTT reached its highest rank in years under my management and was on the rise at the time I left. It died months after my departure but keep it coming
  14. Except I didn't, I intentionally glanced over it and gave him the benefit of the doubt until daft insisted he was correctly using an even less relevant phrase. Nobody even mentioned you and yet you still come out of the woodwork to be buttblasted. @BoMcould you change my vote to a no? I must've misclicked
  15. Ah yes, now it makes even less sense. Clearly this is what he meant instead of misusing and misspelling the common phrase he's too smooth-brained to know. You don't have to defend him just because he sucks your cock, he does it for free.
  16. My brother in Christ, please don't use big words you don't understand. Going to need some proofs of this bold claim as well.
  17. Set aside a larger portion of money $50-$100 and call it an entertainment expense. You're spending this to have fun and framing it differently will keep you from sinking into something.
  18. lol who? I would make the case that in the past many dedicated, skilled, passionate staff and members have been ostracized, held back, demoted, banned etc in the past due to the boards previous focus and low tolerance on behavior over work done. Understandably, for a group of busy people, it's much easier to keep up with a handful of reports or a quick glance at tone than staying up to date with changelogs, server chats, or actually joining the servers to see what's taking place and how people behave and help shape their servers communities. Given our previous indefinite supply of new faces, it wasn't the end of the world to burn bridges haphazardly in lieu of actually making efforts to resolve interpersonal issues or hear people out, but as time went on and quality replacements became more sparse, the focus should have shifted, which may be what's been occuring more recently as some old and previously unwanted faces make their return. Ironically enough, I think it's this very behavior that leads to hard working staff sperging out in the first place. Person puts in assloads of work, gets passed over because they're less behaved or not as tight with whatever managers/board members are making decisions, said managers cba to look into what work is actually being done or make an effort to reach out and understand perspectives, don't follow up on why someone might not have progressed or on issues they've brought up, rinse and repeat. With that out of the way, I don't think that's who you're referring to here. In the past 6 months I've mostly seen people treading water and losing interest in things they weren't putting a large amount of effort into in the first place. Maybe as someone who's not been in the sphere of staff, you don't have the perspective on something like this, but absent of large intervention of the board, the server managers down are entirely responsible for the performance of specific servers. If you are going to propose that 'all the good staff members' are responsible for SGs steepest decline in players and worst server performance in years I think you are terribly misguided. The board is mostly responsible for handling the community outside of the servers and managing staff. Players have always come from the servers to the community, not the other way around. My biggest gripe with the community itself in the last few months has been that it doesn't seem anyone, new members to long term staff can't get any serious post, discussion, or change out without some retard and 10 other cronies flaming them and shutting things down. Maybe the board could do more about that
  19. Nacho Fries are the Taco Bell McRib
  20. Could you go a bit more in depth on the cost breakdown of the tube? -$895 is more than a typical protune (where your car is tuned for specifically what you want using your car specifically, not their model car which will vary from yours from factory, depending on climate, parts etc.) -most OTS tunes are going to try to push as much power as possible out of a build without instructing you to get other supporting mods that would be helpful or necessary to improve reliability (catchcan and cold +1 plugs are a good start) -Im not sure how similar the device mentioned is to an accessport, but it's more useful than just installing maps; checking boost PSI, knock, temps, AFR etc are all useful to know what your car is doing and how healthy it is as well as diagnosing issues or seeing if your tune is performing properly -if you are doing other engine/performance mods, these will not properly be supported by an OTS tune. OTSs generally work off lowest common denominator so you won't necessarily be getting the best bang for your buck or proper reliability with new parts or those you've already installed outside the recommended/required. -Im would advise against a gurgle/pop/ak tune as the sound comes from unburnt fuel igniting after leaving the engine. I'm sure you already know this, but whether it's 5k or 50k miles down the road, it's putting undue stress on your turbo, cat, etc and will degrade things. If you aren't driving stick, you're not even getting the functional aspect of antilag. It's your car and you can do what you want, but just something to consider. I do like how some of the more conservative ones sound, just wouldn't go for it personally My recommendation would be to wait until you have all of the performance mods you'd like completed, beefier intercooler, headers, downpipe, wastegate, injectors or whatever else. Take it to a shop and ask for a 'conservative tune. They know your car is modified and you want something peppy but aren't going to blow your car up to push numbers or make it feel like a racecar. Warranties are weird. I've heard most people say a tune per se won't void you warranty, but damage 'resulting from a tune' may cause claims to be rejected. Call your dealer if you want or try asking around if you're worried about it or curious.
  21. Discord has been blocking copyrighted content for the last year or so afaik from being streamed. Isn't that why we'd usually use rabbit or whatever service specifically catered towards this? I'd say the existence of these services is proof enough that this is grey area/legal enough for nobody to bother enforcing it. Anyways, good movie, has some really comical camera angles
  22. The closest showing for this is 45 minutes from home I'll probably have to wait for the online release but I'm pretty stoked for another A24 banger
  23. The change in Teamspeak had no impact on the performance of the servers or the activity of the community. There was a short dip in VC users and definitely a change in culture on the platforms but eventually it became as active as the Teamspeak once was. If you think Teamspeak would have kept what's going on now from being the case, I want what you're smoking. I loved Teamspeak as much as the next guy, but I see what's done as done. Maybe you could form some insightful post about why it could redeem itself, or you know, keep being a passive aggressive shit poster.
  24. I would say that I at least subconsciously knee they existed, but the importance of them didn't feel very stressed. Any quarrels about changes were had on the server, events, sparse at the time, just randomly took place with no mention of how they are decided/announced, etc. While things seem to have come a ways, I still think emphasis should be kept, encouraging all staff to direct people here in regards to any problems or suggestions they have. I'm not sure how the decline in servers and shift towards Discord will affect this, I don't see many motivating factors for a regular in the Discord to hop on here, but I'm sure staff can think things up and new servers will open those gates again. I understand that burnout is inevitable and there's not much you can do about that, but anyone in staff knows there are many more factors at play here. I'll try to elaborate after work on topics such as mentoring, ingroups, disagreements after work, if they're not too touchy, but anyone else is welcome to take a stab at it in the meantime.
  25. I spent about about a year playing our TTT server before I reached out to admins and eventually joined the forums to apply for staff. The forums felt weird and distant at the time, I had trouble adjusting to the culture and making friends as very few of the server regulars were integrated and I was pretty retarded at the time. Joining the Teamspeak helped a lot and I was able to hang out with regulars and staff and better integrate in the community. The majority of my connection to the community and dedication to staff hinged on my love for our server in particular, not sure how common the sentiment is or how relevant it is to the conversation, but take that as it is. Touching quickly on the Discord, I've not been active recently. Mostly due to few times I would poke in and try to join a conversation, it was mostly dead, or people would be tucked away into private channels or playing Destiny together, not streaming or entertaining side conversation. Again this wasn't more than 10 times so this could be chalked up to coincidence, but it looked like staff wasn't making a conscious effort to welcome and include people into the community. During my stint as LA among other things such as pushing events and meetings into channels, we encouraged staff to hang out in public channels, stream games, encourage people into VC, and actively integrate with new and young members. This seemed to work great at the time, but it doesn't seem that this effort is still ongoing at first glance. In terms of joining staff and staff retention, these can be touchy subjects if you want to get into the nitty gritty of it, so I may make a more in depth post at a later time. In short, my perspective is that it could be improved.
