I appreciate all the work Amit did, honestly. He was a great help to the community getting things implemented and financing for new servers/vb4/ect. But, this is where I believe he should have stayed. I would love to see that kind of relationship with the community and him from now on. All the work he did was, in most part, our communities already thought of ideas that we couldn't/didn't have money to implement. Amit makes for a great asset to the community, but not the best choice for leading it. Almost every BD has his position he tends to do more in, such as Jager/Astrum always doing technical work, Paul doing maps and server sided things, ect. ect. and Amit's have been to finance the things we needed to get done, and find help for us when we hit a wall. He has the experience and the assets we need to implement any idea we as a community come up with, and it would be great to keep him around and informed as SG continues to grow.

It's a little depressing how petty your guys' "most embarrassing moments" are. I guess most people wouldn't really put their MOST embarrassing.

Dual 580's are kind of killing it. You could get like, dual overclocked 560's, save a few hundred and still have a badass computer. The 24gigs of ram too. I mean, this is essentially a all-out best you can buy (kind of, you could have put another mobo and had xeon but thank god you didn't.) and wondering if anyone would pay for it. I think a bigger question is who would pay for the best you can have digitalstorm computer lol.

Fuck Alpha Squad, you guys didn't dare come onto MY escape server. Stick with escape 2 with your easy to kill zombies, I'll be surviving the zombie apocalypse by the hair on my neck as I sacrifice myself, not for points or rank, but to hold off the oncoming seemingly invincible horde of which attempts to zombify my fellow 2-3 survivors as the nuke countdown begins to blare. Alpha Squad played for sport, I play for thrills.

Everyone thinks getting to be a game tester means you get to play the new upcoming hit releases like Crysis 3 or the next version of CS:S or fable 4 or whatever the fuck is coming out that everyone is hyped up about. Not the case, unless you get lucky and work with a big company like Ubisoft (which is hard to get into) you'll be game testing a good game maybe once in a blue moon, and shitty indie releases the rest. You may think free games would be cool, you won't say that when you're forced to spend the rest of your week playing Hello Kitty's newest game for 8 year olds to find glitches. Honestly you're better off actually learning to make the games or help create them than testing them. Cause even then if you're stuck making a shitty game, you can always do a shoddy job of coding it and give it to the game testers for them to figure out what shit is wrong with it then give you a nice essay describing whats wrong so you can find it and fix it easy.
