As you may or may not have noticed, we have a monster lurking about. This monster loves to cut your connection from this website, and then sit there and laugh at you with his stupid grin. Well, we are ridding the place of that monster. aka we are moving hosts. The plan is to do it on Saturday, but if we have all of our ducks lined up by Friday, we'll do it then. Shouldn't last longer than a few hours (at the absolute most). Also, we're pretty sure we narrowed down the subscriber issue. We'll go more into detail when we switch hosts this weekend. I'll get another announcement up shortly about the sub issue going on. For now, if your sub is removed PM me, find me on teamspeak, message me on steam, etc etc. Come to me personally to do this. Hello everyone, I've got a few promotions here that have been in the making for a couple weeks, but we have finalized them. To Community Adviser (seriously, why are we spelling it as 'Advisor' all the time...) we have a couple people taking a step up. Please welcome Crazy Swede, Labarr, Thomson, and Sphin(cter)xxy to their new roles. They will assist the higher up staff in...well...advising us when we need to flip our pillows to the cold side. Up to the rank of Technical Administrator, we are promoting Liam Brown. He's proven his worth, and has more than definitely earned his new shit-brown color. Make sure he feels at home with his new, totally awesome color. As well as Liam, we also have SpikedRocker stepping over. Spiked has done a tremendous amount of work for this community, but has had a few personal issues going on that are preventing him from being here as much as he would like. I'm sad to see him not red, but I'm also glad that he's gonna be sticking around a bit. On up to Administrative Officer, we are promoting R3TROATTACK! This was a close call between a few people, but it was unanimous that he deserves his new role. Please make him feel welcome by posting all sorts of ban appeals, player complaints, admin complaints...hell pretty much just start PMing him with anything you can think of. Finally, we have some people taking a big step up to become Board of Directors. My main man Xeno is coming back to BD after taking a few months off from SG. Xeno put in a great deal of hard work into the community when he was a higher up here, and I have no doubt he'll do the same thing this time around. The second person is someone new to the BD rank. They have been at SG for 7 years now, and has spent a good deal of time as a CA+. Please welcome Beth(el) up to BD! If you guys have any questions or need any work done, please send her multiple PM's. She likes it. Please welcome every one of these people to their new rank, and keep your eye open for more promotions / community changes in the near future.

CSGO is M because of blood / intense violence, not nudity...but that's neither here nor there because we don't have any restriction with the servers and don't intend to. There isn't any type of 'moral' obligation, there's a legal one. I could give a fuck less morally if a 16 year old kid sees a pair of boobs or an ass, but that isn't the issue. Legally speaking, if I allow nudity / porn on the website, I would have to put up a disclaimer and ban everyone who is known to be under 18 on the forums. On top of that, I have a legal obligation as the site owner to report someone sending nudity / themselves nude (Virus) to minors. Otherwise, I can be fined severely for that. Would it ever actually happen? More than likely, I'd guess not. However, that still stands that it's a risk I'm not going to take. But please don't twist this into anything it's not. Some of you are seriously blowing this out of proportion. I do not honestly care if you share porn among yourselves in a private manner, but do not do it here publicly. This is the end of the conversation. If you post nudity / porn, you will be forum banned.

When Virus started posting his balls to minors is when some of us spoke up about it. He was posting some porn as well and he was talked to about it. In his last months here, I didn't see him post anything like that. Not saying he didn't, but usually just saw either some disgusting, weird pictures or swimsuit models.

Didn't see this thread till right now or would have commented sooner lol. Bom did a tremendous amount of work as an AO that we would never try to take from him, however there were issues past all of that that have tried to been resolved since the end of 2014 - beginning of 2015, with numerous warnings. There is no issue paying him respect for the work he put in, but I think this has gone a little past that lol. If anyone thinks we made a mistake or has "lost respect" in us (but we've talked SilentGuns, so pretty sure we're on the same page now), that's fine. You guys are entitled to feel how you feel, but ultimately we have to do what is best for the community, even if it is not the popular decision because the majority of you can't see the facts sitting in the AO section. This wasn't a fit of rage demotion, it was an incredibly long conversation where we weighed the pros and cons, justifications, and overall impact of each possible outcome. We're going to make decisions some of you guys don't like; it's the nature of the beast. You guys can't always see what we're seeing, whether you're an SA, CA AO, reg, etc., depending on the level the issue is held at. Regardless though, you guys are more than entitled to voice your opinion in the appropriate manner. Roughly speaking, if somebody went onto the chatbox and said 'man fuck revenga, that guy is such a piece of shit he needs to be fucking demoted', it potentially does one of two things to newcomers: either they look at it and think 'wow, why is that guy a BD then...I don't want to play at this community' or 'wow, this guy is letting someone else publicly bash him? Does he not have the leadership to handle this?' With that being said, you guys are more than welcome to voice legitimate concerns and opinions in a (somewhat) mature manner. The CA's had an issue with their moderator powers being stripped and they gave legitimate arguments and points why they should have it back. We looked at it and agreed that their points were valid and they should have them back. Going the previously mentioned route and just publicly bashing CA's, AO's, BD's, whatever the rank is, isn't going to be something tolerated. We're not pulling a Suricruise on you guys (for those that remember him) and going to start censoring your speech just because we don't like it, but somewhere a line has to be drawn. Giving your opinion on how something should be handled, a policy change, whatever the case may be, is definitely taken into consideration...but the sarcastic troll posts seriously bashing other members, the disrespect, trolling on the servers, and all of that jazz, is something that we are going to start holding people accountable for. If you're an SA+ doing this, expect there to be heavier consequences. Obviously I would rather everyone just play nice...I hate banning, striking, demoting, or punishing people and I hate typing up these long posts.
